Are our Ministers of Labours anti job seekers? I can't imagine sillions of naira being budgeted to that ministry every single year and yet, the umemployment force is growing larger by each passing day. |
kunletiwoo: Hi Guys, Just wanna give a lil hint with regards to the employment info I published lately for the post of Field Engineering / RIGGERS in ma place of work. Some lucky fellows have been called upon for an interview, though they might not know me in person, neither do I foreknew anyone of them , buh I saw some of them while waiting to be interviewed in the waiting room. You be the man. Keep it up bro. Others will rather die than to share an information to help others. |
Wislet: @acidtalk... So what later happened? He didn't speak to us (his close friends) and someof his siblings for almost 1 and a half month after then. sexkillz: [color=#000030]A lady who is working but still demands recharge cards from someone she has known for long. . . FAIL!I have this believe that it is only girls who are either jobless or from perpetual poverty stricken background that possess such trait. A lady who has self worth and know her onions will never stoop so low asking a guy for recharge card, especially when it is less than N1,500. |
Jos like the Fulani Vs Jos, Ife vs Modakeke, ijo Vs ilaje and so many others. Some group of miscreants are using the name of religion to perpetrates their evil deeds. Mainly paid and sponsored by the ruling party and other oppossition parties to target and attack their opponents. Boko Haram was created to put about confusion in the land to distract the populace on concentrating on tackling the government on better development of the country. The Emirs, Imams, And Religious scholars are all too scared to come out and condemn this sect (Boko Haram) for fear of attack. |
Quranic Facts To Proof That Boko Haram is Anti Islam. *There is no compulsion in religion. Verily, the Right Path has been become distinct. From the wrong path. (Q2: 256) * Worship Allah and join none with Him (in worship); and do goodto parents, kinsfolk, orphans, the needy, the neighbor who is near of kin and the neighbor who is a stranger, the companion by your side, the wayfarer, and the slaves which your right hands possess. Verily Allah does not like such as proud and boastful (Q4:36) * But if they incline to peace, you (also) incline to it, and put trust in Allah. Verily, He is the All-Hearer, the All-Knower. (Q8:61) * And do not kill anyone whose killing Allah has forbidden, except for a just cause. And whoever is killed wrongfully (with hostility and oppression and not by mistake). We have given his heir the authority {to demand Qisas -law of equality in punishment, or to forgive, or to take Diyah (blood money) }. But let him not exceed limits. In the matter of taking life (I.e he should not kill except the killer). Verily, he is helped. (Q17:33) * Repel evil with that which is better (good). Allah is Best Knower of that which they utter. (Q23:96) * And of mankind , there are some (hypocrites) who say: "we believe in Allah and the Last Day" while in the fact they believe not. They (think to) deceive Allah and those who believe, while they only deceive themselves, and perceive not! In their hearts is a disease (of doubt and hypocrisy) and Allah has increased their disease. A painful torment is theirs because they used to tell lies. And when it is said to them: "Make not mischief on the earth," they willl say, "We are only peace-makers" Verily, they are the ones who make mischief but they perceive not. (Q2: 8-12) * Abu Huraira relates that the Holy Prophet said: He who believe in Allah and the Last Day should honour his guest. He who believe in Allah and the Last Day should join the ties of kinship. He who believes in Allah and the Last Day should speak beneficently of keep quiet (Muslims : 316) * The best of neighbors is one which his neighbors feels safe around him (Bukhari and Muslim) |
Mynd_44: Now that's the spirit, if anyone asks for something that is against your principle, say you can't give it. It is so simpleTrust most of of naija brothers. They will always to to act big and create a fake "mr rich and nice guy" they go behind and start complaining and abusing the lady. |
Jonathan don use Belgore Report clean him smelling drunken fisherman yansh. He will be like, "scrap ko, scra ni. Abi make I create more for Alamiesigha, Boyloaf, tompolo, clark, ibori, asari dokubo and even body geoarge. Una dey craze. Whether una like am or not, we go chop Nigeria dry. Na my time." When Theophilus Danjuma gave him the BEST report that would have changed Nigeria for the better, didn't the idio*tic fool terminate that office? He doesn't want to hear the truth. He is all bent to break the history of the most corrupt leader in the world. |
kilimanjaro: Seems you had a dyslexia when you read the OP's post. He said someone you just met. There's one girl on my BB contact, just barely a week plus of chatting she told me her bis will soon expire so I should help her out. I cam out straight to tell her I don't do such. I very well know this babe is TOTALLY broke. But guess what, she didn't go off for a second because another 'maga' probably gave her the money. |
Princeparix: Princeparix do believe that "in life;we live by d rules-we die by d rules". But we need to break sum of dis rules to survive{is our nature}.Giving isn't the big deal most times. The problem is them using the term "mugu / maga" when you were only pitying their poverty stricken state. I do send recharge cards to my female and male friends once a while even without them demanding. I might just have the instinct they aren't so financially bouyant that period and I will just send to them. They always are very happy. But not some hungry girl I am just knowing. |
AjanleKoko: This means what exactly? That Nigerians don't know how to wear Jeans and T-Shirt?It simply means Nigeria will copy other people's culture and become slaves to it. Even when the real owners never take it so serious. Do you people see how Barack Obama dresses most times folding his sleeves and all that? Most CEO's here in Nigeria will never feel comfortable dressing that way because they will be scared of people terming them "toutish mode of dreesing" Nigerians are just tooooooo fake. |

bayleaf: very nice thread. please keep it up.Leasing isn't a bad idea. You can try out car hire service. A regular nice tokunbo vehicle which is well neated and with a/c can actually get lots of clients who are in need of your service. |
greatgod2012: i know a friend who has never worn suit to job interviews, yet he often get d job, i think it depends on various factors like carriage, posture, fluency, confidence, knowledge of d job in question, etc. However, what works for a person may not work for another person, so,know urself and what works for uYou are so on point. |
Mynd_44: Cos they get paid for it and you don'tWho said I don't get paid? Ask Seun and Mukina? On a serious note, truth be told isn't it worth advicing them to stop being cheap? |
GBNY: SUPER EAGLES, anyday anytime, Nigeria Number one BrandEFFC nko? |
frikuenci: This thread is getting more interesting.pls house I need suggestions. WHAT OTHER WAY can one dress for a job interview if one can't get a suit within a short period due to financial constraint. I have ties and other wears but no suit. Thanks. Its urgent.I am not a corporate dresser but I believe a normal well ironed long sleeve shirt and trousers will do with the tie. I don't think suit is a must. |
Danka7777: You have to understand that stuttering is a medical and physiological condition. Yes, some people stutter out of fear but some don't have control over it and are very smart. I knew a guy who graduated with 4.0 G.P.A, couldn't get a word out without stuttering but he was hell smart and when he wrote on paper, then it hits you that he is hell brilliant but has this condition holding him down. So, I get your drift but there are other words that could be used as opposed to stuttering.I am so sorry if you misunderstood me. I didn't mean stuttering as a condition. I actually meant it in terms of "out of fear or fright". |
Mynd_44: Don't you guys get bored with all these threads?Maxi ran tis topic on cool fm 96.9 from 1am -5am. Dotun ran this same issue from 10am -12noon.if they don't get bored why should I? |
Demdem: This thread lacks pictures. This will be helpful.Be kinmd enough to post one. Using my tablet now and typing alone is a night mare already. |
question: Aggressive marketing strategy. All this hullabulla is just an indirect advert for this MUDI Africa guy.Amrketing for who and to you? A question was asked and I tried to enlighten them so why now associate me to the promostion of the brand? Let true be told; this fellow clothes and have clothed for former heads of states both within and outside Nigeria, past and serving governors in Nigeria. International celebs like Youssou Nsodor, Salif Keita, Olu Jacobs, Mikel Obi, JJ Okocha, RMD, John Fashanu, Ramsey Noah, Desmond Elliot and the rest. Even if you don't buy clothes that expensive, don't you also see his adverts in thisday, city people, and the other media almost every week? Please let's leave sentiments and face reality. Is it easy for someone to have upto 10 physical outlets across Africa? Abeg make we face fact now. |
NigeriaKwenu: It's reasonable only if you;re the BOSS. If you're a regular worker, just go to the secretary and get your sack letter. My point exactly. If your dressing isn't irritaitng, too loud or loose, why can't someonewear what best suits them once they are very comfortable with it? |
'mide eniafe:Coming from a lady, I give you a standing ovation. |
auwal87: This is just list of products the OP uses often. So obvious you are such a kid. Its an insult comparing GTB with Almighty First Bank. Even your great grand parents probably banked with first bank. MtN is a 100% South African company. You dare say what is tantalizers? Well aside the fact it is one of the few fast growing eatry and food company in Nigeria, it is also listed on the Nigerian Stock Enchange. Do you know what that means? Go find out if you don't. What's the market circulation and awareness of Swan or Ragolis water today? You will walk your toes off to get a Swan table water but the same can't be said about EVA. As for the MUDI Africa, it is an ELITE brand. He doesn't cloth for N500 or N2,500 like those road side tailors do. He is one of the few designers that have made Nigerians proud. Just googled to find his website and this is it - www.mudionline.com. Maybe you need to check it out to see him being associated with ambassadors opening his branches in African Countries. y |
Nigerians are too quick to condemn but Never profer any solution. A people too fast to destroy but will never attemp building. This poster's list might not be a perfect one but let's give it to him because he made a whole lot of sense and opened most of us eyes on the need to start appreciating on brands. In my own opinion, I will answer some certain people. House hold name products are not necessarily strong brands like most people here believe. *Channels TV - even though only in Lagos and on Dstv it has come to stay a the media house people tend to rely on, while expecting up-to-date and nonbias news. People will rather watch Channels than NTA or AIT. *indomie - Yes it might be owned by India's but it has recorgnized its precence of acclaiming to being 100% Nigerian. Indomie's taste of almost 20years still remain the same and its market value is still as strong as yesterday. Same thing with EVA, Chivita and Panadol. *Mr biggs, so many people are clamouring for a mr biggs to be on the list, but how many people know mr biggs is closing more branches across the country everyday than Customers enter its outlets across the country. It only a matter of time before Mr Biggs will totally close down. I agree with the people that said a Maggi, Gala and Tom-tom should have been on the top 10 brands. But like every other poll anywhere else in the world, you can't satisfy everyone. Some mentionedtribune newspaper and that sounded ridiculous. How many people in 100 will buy a tribune in place of a punch, guardian, this day or the sun newspaper. As for the Dangote Group, I don't know why the poster didn't include it but if I was to come up with mine, I will clearly have excluded Dangote Group and its products without any iota of regret. Dangote is one company that has monopolized the Nigerian economy. From Salt, Cement, Sugar, Flour, spaghetti and the others, this company have succeeded in driving other competitors off the market I.ean Stallion Group. You can hold other competitors hostage and claim to be the king of the market. That isn't fair play. A situation where Dangote was threatening a law suit again BUA group for tax cut and invasion? When did Dangote turn to a tax attorney? If not for Obasanjo, Yaradua, and Goodluck, the name Dangote with not be as big as it is, as it will readily compete in an open, fair market. Will continue in a giffy. |

If you read well the guy isnt an old friend. He is someone she just met. i.e, barely a week or soo. They covered all these things and believe me even maxi being a lady was realy irritated at such attitude. |
Just this morning i worked till very late into the early morning. On turning on the radio to cool fm (lagos) by 3am, the presented (amaka aka maxi) was talking of ladies demanding recharge cards fromguy the barely know. She so much attacked these ladies that only guys were calling. Even as a lady she made it known how cheap it is you ask a guy for call credit barely a week you met him and then you condemn him when he demands for sex within that same period. For those who can go to coolfm 96.9fm facebook page (I havent been there though) to read really harsh comments from both the guys and the girls on the topic. The good news is that this same topic will continue 1am tonight on the station. So my question here is nairalanders is it okay to demand for a recharge card from a guy you met within a week? |
