Atleast he knws she is nt promiscious bt he should try and find out her reasons before concludingWon't such a lady end up denying her husband intimacy after marriage? SimonAndal: Why should it? It's got no bearing on one's later endeavours, is it? And btw, which are you gonna enforce? Islam in the south or Christianity in the north? Smh @ religious fanatics. Nigeria is ranked the most religious country in the world. Where has that gotten us?If you schooled in Nigeria and not younger than 30years you will remember vividly that in those days no one forces you to choose a religious studies. You go for the one that best suits you. Except of course if you attended a christianity or Islamic missionary school, then you will have to practise the religion of the owners of the school. |
*coughs and then sip a glass of water* 18months to settle down you say? Now let's set your priorities straight and that of the lady in question. The average Nigerian familt wants their daughter to get married after her first degree. The only two exceptions in this case are; The lady gets pregnant and her people are ashamed of her giving birth to the baby in their home or she is from an almost below average home (poor family background) as such they want her to go so that they can feed (minus one mouth) less mouth. Secondaly most girls in this age bracket are not in anyway desperate to get married. They still see themselves as beauty queens because they sometimes get as much as 5-10 toasters everyday because of their youthful nature. This will make them assume they will remain 'hot cake' for ever and think there will always be that suitor waiting to get married to them whenever they are ready. Except for few families which still nuture their female children, its almost common for most ladies within that age range to learn basic home chores in their boyfriend's place. Though not in all cases, but if you are one who cares a lot about financial management and knowledge, most young ladies in that age bracket might not fit in. The want to get the latest phone, gadget, hand bag and fashion accessories to meet up with their peers. If you are not one of those guys that spend frivolously on a lady when it isn't relevant, she might term you stingy as won't consider settling down with you because she rarely knows what is the difference between necessity and wants. Above all Intelligence, if you are a serous minded and fast thinker, it might be an hill task finding a lady that will match your intelligence. I am not talking of knowing latest music, movie or celebrity gist. I am talking of beneficial reasoning. If you don't mind the above, then you can stick with them and groom them with patience. Otherwise maybe you should stick with the law of nature that "the older the wine, the better it taste". |
Idowuogbo: Same here!Well even if they did, the scary thing is she never gets jealous or even shows an iota os suspicion on the guy. Even though she loves him darely too. |
IZUKWU: Once in five years. Is the girlfriend born again or what. Is she wood or was she getting it from somewhere else. But i wouldn't advice him to in ahead.Well...he loves her pieces so anyone telling him the reasons why he shouldn't just go ahead might make one look like an enemy. He knows the truth deep down but is just too scared to face it. |
mrkels: This one na story? Nonesense passing jareIts not story but you had the entire time to read through, click on the 'reply' button and typed the above. I must confess your life is pathetic. |
Sijo01: Hmmmmmmm!Talk joh! Which one are you hmmming like a crocodile? |
A friend of mine who works with an Insurance firm which is rated on of the first 3 in the country as been lamenting of the urge to get married urgently. He stays in a very big 2 bedroom apartment on the mainland and stay all alone. Every time we get talking via chat, phone call or one on one. Majority of what his bothering him is the need to settle down with his fiancee and start a family. Bear in mind that he has been dating this lady for 5 solid years and he has made love to her only ONCE. She avoids coming over to his place for fear of being to ramantic with him and the possibility of having se*x a second time with him. The issue is this guy have cheated severally on this is girl which I didn't blame him. In my own opinion, she has totally neglected him. He intends settling down with her before the end of the year but his biggest fear is if "she won't end up starving him with s*ex". A lady who have only gone intimate once in 5years of their relationship might just starve him for a life time. |
Mynd_44: No it is not that bad. That are just scaring youMy person. How you dey? You no see me for zone you no ask after me. Hope you good? |
She came to her senses and realized she can never get another LOOSER to like her the way you do. |
Well.... On the average, I believe salary earners are still likely to be more wasteful than entrepreneurs. Reason being salary earners eagerly look forward to the end of the month to get salary and as such will take debt and spend lavishly unlike the business owner who is uncertain about when the next big deal/profit will happen. |
Couple of years back religious studies; Islamic religious Knowledge (IRK) or Bible Knowledge (BK) were made compulsory the Nigerian School curriculum from primary up to Junior Secondary School (JSS). Aside Mathematics and English Language, one is expected to pass one of those subjects as well as it was made to appear a compulsory subject. Then (that generation), Moral values were held up in high esteem. People respected their parents, siblings, neighbors and elderly ones. Children stood up for elders to sit, they never spoke without taking permission when an elder was speaking and above all they dressed morally right. After the Government refused to make religious knowledge compulsory, things have totally gone bizarre in the Society. Even missionary schools and church owned university aren't helping matters as most of them are all out to make Profit without caring much about instiling discipline and the fear of God into their students. The question now is; Should religious studies be made compulsory in Nigerian Educational System? |
Rarely respond to threads if I can't relate to the message 100%. As for this, I can relate to it 101%. I have found out most people than render advice here are not mature enough and only do it for the sake of 'make me sef talk'. @Poster, your message is a very serious and deep thinking one. From what I can see (based on your explanation); * the ex banker friend of yours likes you but never liked your job. That's very understandable. Which woman wouldn't want her man to earn 6 digit figures? It is only normal. * she lost her job during the downsizing period as as such the fear that she might not get another job for the fear of her kind of course is what is bothering you. * you assume she wants to marry you to save herself the shame of returning to the East with her family. Questions I will ask you are; * while this girl had her banking job was she rude, bossy, and being in control all the time? Because you mentioned something like being 'oga'. If the answer is yes. Then I will let you know she can never change as if she gets a better job or flowing business tomorrow, she will certainly do worse. But if the answer is No! Then I will let you know you just had a complex and felt inferior to her. * prior to when she discovered her uncle was relocating, has she ever mentioned marriage plans between you both? If the answer is No! Then I suggest you need to tell her to give you more time to prepare yourself first psychologically and financially as the news just came too sudden. And if the answer is Yes! You still need more time though. * do you love her enough to live with her flaws? If it is yes! Then you can consider her for marriage, if the answer is No! Let he go as partners only get worse in most cases after marriage. As for her putting you under a condition of her getting you a job after marriage, don't fall for the bait. Let her know you will ONLY marry her when you get a better job. If she can really help get a job, she will put pressure on that her under to get you the Oil and Gas Job as she won't be able to wait. I see both of you getting to understand yourself better rathan that just rushing to tie the knot due to circumstances. |
2sexy: I love readers! Readers are leaders with virtue. Thanks for the contribution. I have read all these books and I believe they are all 'money making and investment' related. That's not what the beneficial needs right now. Aside that, the truth remain that most of the principuls in those books are not 100% implementable here in Nigeria. The America business environment is totally different from that of Nigeria. It very okay to have an ideas of advice the authors render but implementing it here is someworth impossible. I always suggest books that one can readily relate to and see instant advice. Not reading just for the sake of reading. |
olas2u: Government hospitals remains the best option, they have experts and consultants that are so many and they can share ideas together an reach a solution faster.private is expensive and they sometimes make a living out of the patient till the very end of the patient. Thanks for the response. Will appreciate more response from others. I believe some people have opposing views on this. |
Billyonaire: It was the technology we were born to see. And its still being used in the orient...That's some freaking Hi-Tech Technology mehn! Nigeria is really....*lips sealed* |
Taking Nigeria environment and practises into consideration what are the Advantages and Disadvantages of a Government (State and Federal) and a Private Hospital in terms of; Professionalism Affordability Trust Confidentiality Desireability. While some believe minor illness should be only taken to private hospitals but more critical ones to government owned hospitals. What's you actually take on both types in the Nigeria Context. |
micoco: hahaha babe your own crushing heavy sha.Her boy friend is certainly on the brink of having a heart attack. |
