Theyrem: Hello Doc, I was diagnosed with streptococcus pneumonia and Augmentin was prescribed to me along with a cough syrup. After using 3 packs of the drug, I became dehydrated. And then I was told I should've used the drug with a blood tonic. This got me confused and is prompting me to ask 'since the drug dehydrates, should it be taken with a blood tonic or an oral rehydration suspension?'

Stevecares: Good day doctor. The psychiatrist helped me to think positive. (Am having blocked noise on my right). On the aspect of my medication I have been using prescription drugs for High BP and heart palpitation for over a week-plus now. Am on Asomex 2.5 and Bisoprolol fumarate 5mg (one tablet each daily). Two days ago I went to complain to the pharmacy that am feeling slight headache, warm, dizzy and slight stomach pinch sometimes. She rechecked my BP and palpitation, and it reads that my BP has droped low like 125 from 147, but my heart beat is stil a little greater than 100. She asked me to suspend Asomex but take only Bisoprolol. Today when I read my BP myself per minutes, it reads 71, and i do not feel the heart pounding. But it is not constant, it sometimes fluctuate, i feel the pounding( at times, when lying down or resting or occasionally and when am emotional or lifting a heavy object). Am concerned because with my present medication I do not want to end up developing a low BP and slow heart beat. I feel like stop using the medication.

Doctor good morning o and I must commend the good work you're doing here..more wisdom and grace IJN. I've been ttc-ing for 2yrs 2 weeks now o...I need you to explain these medical terms in the several different results I have here presently..

Had Hormonal Profile test 21st Aug which says: LH - 10,FSH - 12 *both ranges are btw 4-20m/l*, Prolactin - 18ng/ml (6-24ng/ml),Progesterone - 12ng/ml (5-36ng/ml)

Had my HVS 10th sept Monday and the result collected 13th says,
MICRO:Pus cells: 1- 2hpf,Epithelial cells: +, others: Nil
CULTURE: yielded no growth after 48hrs incubation at 37°c
No drugs recommended in the result given.

Also,did FOLLICULOMETRY and The first Follicle test done 10th Monday sept *my cd 15*says follicle sighted at the right ovary 27mm,left ovary nil,follicle sighted in the right ovary has attained maximum ovulation diameter range,was advised to repeat process two days after..so,12th Wednesday sept my cd 17 another follicle test says right ovary 29mm,left ovary nil,previously sighted follicle in the right ovary has attained maximum ovulation diameter range but yet to rupture.,was told to repeat two days later.Then,14th Friday sept my cd 19 ,left ovary nil,right ovary eggs dropped..previously sighted Follicle in the right ovary had contracted with internal hemorrhage confirming ovulation...

Had PELVIC SCAN TEST on Monday 10th sept cd 15 which says:
USS shows a normal sized uterus with an AP diameter of 4.2cm,the outline is regular,the endometrial plate appears normal,the myometrial texture is normal,both ovaries appear normal in sizes and structure,the adnexae is free bilaterally,pouch of Douglas is free,no free pelvic collection sighted,no fibroid,no cysts,no cyesis or retained products..assessment given was: normal pelvic sonogram...
Just the Lil confusion is the spotting o on sept12th-sept13th*cd 17-18*
Well,I have been obeying the knackson instruction since Thursday o....
make God help person,our efforts will not be in vain! Taking folic acid alone too since Friday and hubby will run his SFA this Thursday! What do I do or take?

All these people mentioning Orashi which is in my hometown makes things quite funny. It is true that some Ijaw elements settled around but they've long since been absorbed and are Igbo today because they were few in number. I've told you people that Twon Brass, Bonny, Opobo and Okrika were founded by Igbos and Ijaws but you are running away from that. Asari has already admitted that he descended from Abam in Abia State. I can dig up some court cases and even history concerning Buguma in particular and even Kalabari kingship which suggests that they are obviously Igbo rooted. Igbos consider language as a definition of ethnicity that's why Okrika and Kalabari are not regarded as Igbo. Opobo speaks only Igbo as their language while Bonny speaks Igbo and Ibani but are considered Riverine because they are not geographically contiguous with Igboland as they are separated from Igbo by Okrika and Ogoni. There is no way one will lose his language entirely to another when he was neither conquered nor controlled by the other. The truth is that all the Eastern Ijaws are mix of Igbo and Ijaw with Efik/Ibibio as well in some instances. The Igbo has higher ratio in some cases, lower in others and equal in one. The Hausa and Fulani is an example. You cannot say you are purely Ijaw and Igbos came and forced you to leave Ijaw and start speaking Igbo. That's impossible!

Let's take a look at Okrika which was founded by an Igbo married to Ijaw and it is clear from the bilingual nature, marriage pattern, culture of trading and fishing and phenotype. Why would you subtract the Igbo part and claim dominance by Igbo when you are half Igbo by origin and by maternity? What makes you think an Igbo would want to hurt his blood relation and inlaw?

killayut: Fool, You Igbos can call London what ever name you like but London remains an English town. Call Port Harcourt what ever name you like and it will remain an Ijaw town.
