Our problems are multidimensional and you can't fix Nigeria using a single solution. If public officials steal pension funds that were contributed by poorly pàid workers, what makes you think they will not steal your tax?
Well, regardless the tax base needs to increase. Even if they steal 90% of the money 10% will reach its intended purpose, and we have to accept paying more in tax. No country has ever developed without at least 15% tax to GDP while we have only 6%.

When we have a tax rate of just 6% of GDP it scares away international investors because the country looks unstable and it makes the currency weaker. It also makes the government pay higher interest rates on its debt wich crashes the Naira even more. In the end this ends up hurting everyone because we need a strong respected currency if we want to develop and that depends on TAX.

Maybe they might even kill you sef. How can you be lashing people in this 21st centuryhuh huh. Abeg shift make I pass.
Did you know they lash people for spitting in the streets in Singapore (the richest country in Asia). You fear lashes because you are one of these monkeys who pollutes the street and you are scared of punishment. People are like you are the problem. If I catch you, you will get 50 lashes with a bamboo rod until you learn to act civilized.

This is Singapore. Throw trash in the streets here, and you won't make it out alive. Nigerian baboon.

Why will someone listen to someone like you that goes about insulting and demeaning his race in all his post. Shame on you.
Imagine making someone like you a leader. You will only become a sellout like the rest.

The world needs Africa than Africa needs the world that was why colonisation happened in the first place.

People don't usually want worthless things, if Africa where to be poor in resources why does everyone want to control Africa. You better wake up if you won't, just don't be a sellout.
If I ruled Nigeria, it would become a developed country within 10 years. The first thing I would do is sl*****r the corrupt politicians -- next I would m*****cre the Fulani herdsmen and carpet bomb Boko Haram. Then I would put trashcan and sanitation services in every city. If you throw plastic on the sidewalk? 10 lashes. If you throw a water bottle? 50 lashes.

Penalty for corrupt police: death

Penalty for corrupt teachers: death

Next I will deal with corrupt pastors. If you claim to perform a miracle and it turns out to be false, your "church" will be taxed at a rate of 25% on all offerings. That revenue will go towards healthcare and education. Next, I would slash government salaries to a fixed rate of 10x the minimum wage, although food and lodging will be included. 50% of the budget will go towards infrastructure while 20% goes to healthcare and education.

I would extend Buhari's current border closure, but actually fix the electricity grid so domestic companies will be able to produce efficiently.

This is Ukraine, a country that is poorer than Nigeria on a GDP basis and only slightly better on a per capita basis. Can we really say blacks are the same species as other races? The level of organization and civilization in Ukraine blows Nigeria out of the water.

If Africans with its estimated 1.4billion population today which consist mostly of young people, unlearn all the miseducations that have caused inferiority and self hate, decides to build their continent, support innovation, create and depend on their credible media outlets, handle issues domestically, changes it curriculums to be African centered, consume entertainment and arts from only African countries, respect each others culture and region, unites(have a mutual objective), have a strong independent military that is trained in Africa by Africans, have peace, have a strong justice system, have 24/7 electricity, goes into full production with it's resources, no longer export it raw materials instead export finished goods, depends solely on it's agriculture, considers trades with each other first. This will mean the black race will rule the world, since Africa already have 80% of the worlds resources, arable lands, man power and professionals(technical know how). The standard of living of Africans will rise and things will change for the black race globally.
Having done all these,
1)What do you think will happen to the economy of rest of the world?
2) How will the others catch up, with maintenance etc.?
Bro, China alone produces more natural resources than all of Africa and has more people. We are not a threat to any body, get that through your mushy black brain. Look up the top gold producer, it's China not Africa.

Here is the link:

http://www.usfunds.com/investor-library/frank-talk/top-10-gold-producing-countries/

Next is Russia, then Australia, than the U.S.

Look up the top iron producers:

Australia, Brazil, India

https://www.nsenergybusiness.com/features/top-iron-ore-producing-countries/

Look up the top copper producers:

Chile, Peru, China

The world doesn't need us. White people could supply all their resource needs with Russia, Australia and Canada and never trade with Africa again and it wouldn't hurt them. Africa represents 17% of the world population but only 3% of GDP. We are like ants. We could vanish off the face of the earth no one would even notice.

Drop your delusions of grandeur and accept reality.

Just a bunch of black monkeys who should still be under colonial rule. The niger-man will allocate 90% of his budget to luxury cars, training, foreign trips and building renovations and only 10% to infrastructure. And to make matters worse, he doesn't even finance this nonsense with his own tax revenue -- no, he must borrow from other countries.

If a meteor strikes this earth, may it land on Africa. Earth will surely breathe a sigh of relief when this subhuman worthless race goes extinct.

The problem in Nigeria is our low tax to GDP of just 6% compared to 14% in Ghana and 28% in South Africa. If Nigeria collected as much tax as Ghana, we would have an annual government tax revenue of $56 billion per year compared to the current $13 billion reported in 2019.

Nigerians love to complain about corruption and mismanagement, but Nigeria's budget is smaller than the budget of a single city in the United States.
Yes, one American city generates more tax revenue than the entire country of Nigeria. That's the main reason why things look so horrible. According to the World Bank, a country will never develop until its tax to GDP ratio hits 15%.

If we don't dramatically increase tax revenue, the country will explode. The government also needs to dramatically cut budgets and salaries to redirect funds to infrastructure.

Solutions

1. We need a massive property tax in cities like Abuja and Lagos. 1% of your property value goes to tax every single year for an infrastructure fund that is directed to road construction and infrastructure in the LGA. Everything must be audited and published online.

2. We need a massive luxury tax of 10% on all plane tickets sold in Nigeria -- the tax jumped to 25% on first class ticket because no black monkey deserves to fly first class while his country looks like a zoo. Learn your place.

3. We need to decentralize an regionalize government. Hausa/Fulani leadership is the main reason why Nigeria is lagging behind its peers like Ghana and the Bantu countries in terms of development. Every region should be responsible for collecting its own taxes and developing its own industries.

Why is there such a high level of delusion in the black race? It's like you guys can't see details clearly. There is no similarity between Jakarta and South Africa because most of South Africa's city planning was done during the 1960-80s under the white apartheid government while Indonesia's infrastructure is mostly brand new (2000--2020).

Black people are so comfortable in mediocrity. You can't even see all the things wrong with your cities. Yesterday, I was arguing with a Nigerian lady who says Lagos is better than Paris. I don't understand the delusion. It's like you guys are under some kind of spell or curse where you are literally blind to certain problems in your communities.
