careytommy: ofcourse, Jesus wasnt Christ-like. He is Christ. The point is that Jesus Christ didn't institute/endorse any religion before the He died. |
I said to a very religious friend of mine Jesus Christ was not a Christian, because Christian was coined in Antioch after Christ's death. |
Naija journalism at its FINEST! |
another avenue to chop money |
freecocoa: Most times guys "toasted" by ladies end up not taking her serious, they tend to think she is cheap.Speaking from experience or hearsay? |
We have collective passivity in Naija and everybody is hoping that one day it becomes their turn to chop the national cake. |
maxwello.yg:Look no further, the problem is with you, if you are impatient to read a wonderful piece like this |
momodub:Only if you have ever been to Dubai? |
taharqa2: Agreed, largelyCould you explain that to stupid " Chei" please |
take dat: You are a few cards short of a full deck! No time for a watery brain. Bye!Go back to your secondary school reading and comprehension textbooks. You can't curse your way out of this! |
chei: Wetin this wan dey talk sef? I honestly wish you were making sense.Cos the OP's write is above your understanding. If your parents paid for a good schl in ur sec. Schl, you should blame yourself for not paying attention. |
nice4life: I'm yet to meet a woman who can ask me that question but seriously that sound like a woman of purpose and thats the best way to approach a relationship. You remind me of my elder sister, fair and beautiful and she told me that's the question she usually asked guys while she was single and that single question can send the wrong man out of your life and no wonder she got married at 24 to a lovely husband till date. The question I usually ask folks like her is can you take care and sustain a family if something bad happens to me? If you can truly say yes, then you are ready! |
From my experience, most women think that they are ready and the man should pop the question, but in actuality, they just want to have a WEDDING based on societal pressure and expectations. I see women saying I'm ready for marriage, but they are not financially and mentally ready for family. Their biggest goal in life is to become Mrs somebody. So a guy taking his time to pop the question might be that you are not really ready. |
Aderostock: you should know he was indirectly saying OGUN is the new industrial hub of the nation. How should I know Mr. Teacher? Is it hard to say Ogun has 50 industries and Lagos has 35 , therefore, Ogun is the most industrialised state in the Nation? |
I was hoping to see some data from the governor, he presented none. Just IGR. Veracity of his claim that Ogun has more industries than Lagos? Folks have joined the bandwagon without citing any data. Politicians know that they are leading dummy folks and they always pander to our ignorance by making bogus claims. Show me facts not emotion/propaganda |
Tell her to stop drinking Odeku and hit the gym ASAP! |
emmygod: I do wonder why some people refer Enugu as a poor state. I have travelled around Nigeria states and still observed that Enugu state is better than most states in Nigeria. Infrastructural and federal government infulence. The state is rich in all standard. People believe that Enugu state didnt have a huge market and thats makes them poor. Short sighted people do think otherwise. The states is fast growing in industrial development. The plastic industries, brewery, pharmaceuticals, shools,Agriculture and aluminium are just few to mention. How many states enjoy this in Nigeria. If you are talking about Enugu metropolis, it's a beautiful and the most organised cities in Naija, but if you stretch your visits to Nkerefi-Mburubu-Akpofu- axis there are no roads, take a trip to Obinagu Umumba or to Ovoko Nsukka. It's time to start developing other communities in Engu |
olatayo1984: I tried not to play ladies or break anyöne heart but d one i like i tell them d true but they keep on rejecting my luv, must i lie before before a girl like me?Love urself first. |
adamscuti: u are a moronic mongrel,a shameless confused idiaaat! U called these 6 companies investement?? For everyone s.a company in nigeria, there are 5 nigerian companies, world class for that matter, that renders the same and even better servicesMumu of NL. Sharaton as u called it is a US company just like Hilton. Hitv that is dead. You are comparing elephant and rat. Do yourself a favor, dig up Glo and MTN balance shee.Compare First bank group to S/A Standard Bank group or ABSA. Stop spreading ignorance! |
lagerwhenindoubt: Very few producers actually perform as artistes, the business is tough, do you know who produced Jay-Z before he also got into the Music Production line.. what about Rick Ross.. you hardly see these guys and they hardly make any residual income from the album sales of the artistes,it is simply cash and carryI beg to differ. Dr Dre made money than Jay-Z and P Diddy combined last year. Producers make money in the US even when u dont see then on TV. i don't know about Naija music. Producers in Nollywood are like banks cos they hire and pay actors and actresses. |
Rossikk: You need to study situations more before commenting. Theoretically nothing stops Nigerian firms from investing in SA. Both nations have reciprocity agreements. The main factor holding back such Nigerian investment is that South Africa does not offer the type of returns for companies as do many faster growing economies on the continent, like Ghana, Kenya, even Liberia. These are where you find Nigerian firms establishing branches, and making serious profits. The South African market is relatively saturated, meaning more competition and lower returns. Businesses hate competition. They will invest where they can capture the largest possible market share.I beg to differ, RSA market is advanced with world class infrastructure. Their best telecom company is vodacom, not operating in Naija though.MTN is their 2nd and no Naija company can compete with their 2nd best. Their best Bank is Standard Bank, which owns Stanbic IBTC, no Naija company can compete with Standard Bank Group. Their Revenue is almost half of Naija Budget. They have built world class companies like SabMiller, brewer of Miller and coors beers. Sasol, Naija equivalent of NNPC is listed on JSE and NYSE. When you go to a BWW dealer in the US, u have the option of buying a BMer made in US, Germany or South Africa. The retail store the Game is owned by Walmart, so their companies are world class and adopt the best global practices in corporate governance. Naija companies cannot compete in RSA, but their companies can compete in Naija. Thisday Newspaper tried it and failed. Only Naija churches can survive in RSA! |
Let someone tell me Oyibo use juju and religion to achieve greatness. |
These malls are built by different companies like Broll South Africa and Palms Mall Builder. Shoprite is just renting a retail space. If its owned Shoprite, they will not allow a competitor like Game to rent a space. |
Dean at 30? She must have graduated from Boko Haram School of Law!!! |
Time for smart insurance/investment folks to start selling celebrities retirement/health insurance plans! |
Goddex: Jang was military administrator of two states and now a two time elected governor of Plateau state. All together, he has been governor four times. He was governor of two states when Ameachi was a nobody. He knows exactly what he is talking about. Ameachi is not Jang's mate. And so? Should we respect his age instead of his honesty/achievement/qualification? He didn't win an NGF election, so with his age, he should know that he should not take what does not belong to you. |
Mr knowitall.:It's called Murtala Muhammed Airport not "Muritala Air port" it's above your reasoning to understand simple things. You don't even know how to write the name of the airport.. Google and Siri are ur best friends! Experienced travelers don't talk about MMA cos it's one of the worst airports. |
Mr knowitall.:It's not in ur dictionary and above your pay grade. Ask Google or Siri! |
Mr knowitall.:Another stupid post! Someone is saying that less than $100k gets a transplant done based on her experience and you are typing stuff without fact. Is Instagram the problem or the amount? This is an absurd and illogical argument. Her position as a foundation owner qualifies her to make such a claim. U don't need to be a doctor to know this since we are not talking about diagnosis. Medical tourism planners can help you with pricing. There is not thing to speculate that Ms Ibrahim takes her patients to sub-standard hospital. So show us facts no speculation! |
tomakint: This is pure charm at its peak, if not how do you explain a medium-sized man (perhaps around 85-90kg) messing with 300kg of cementIdiocy at its peak. Go watch some sports TV! |
Mr knowitall.:Typical Naija rant. Why didn't you answer/critique/address one of the points listed by OP?instead you resorted to emotional card of scaring folks with death. Age of critical thinking is dead in Naija. Do you know anything about objective experience? Someone who has a kidney foundation is far more experienced in kidney related treatment than someone who has not. Her experience is emprical while your rants are nothing. |
There are a lot xenophobic folks in RSA, but their judiciary still works. The alleged victim got acquitted because the police could not prove their case, but in Naija police trump up charges, detain you until bribe is offered to release you. Naija police are the worst! |
