More states more money for politicians- more senators, reps, commissioners, govs.. More business for their followers and thugs! More states are not our problem! |
Same Naija Army wey talk say dey don rescue Chibok girls? Army of liars and incompetent fools! Does this man know what is photo/video evidence? |
cecegorz: @OPThank you! I said this before. Why not say 35% for every 1 or 2 units locally assembled? |
odun4love: Are they trying to tell us that they cant catch them....Stupidity runs in ur DNA. GEJ swore to protect Naija from interna and external aggression. Obama didn't swear to protect Naija. P |
Just2.0:Stupidity runs in ur DNA! When did God make u his spokesperson? |
Stupid Keshi. He doesn't have statistician to tell him that Enyeama saved 9 out shots, so his performance was 90% while performance average of the all the players was 40%. That's why he's technically challenged. Keshi should be ashamed that set pieces were Nigeria's Achilles Heels in this WC. A good coach could have fixed the problem. Keshi could not find someone to take simple corner kicks. Other teams played by design and tactics, Keshi relied on luck! |
atlwireles: Move this conversation forward and avoid unnecessary gibberish.Which is hoping that Islamic terrorists become repentant born again pastors? |
atlwireles: I'm not hoping for anything, I'm wishing the intent of this bombers and their supporters remain a mirage. I still maintain, you don't understand what's going on in this country. If you and GEJ understand the problem, why don't u guys fix the damn problem? Are u saying that problem known is problem unresolved? |
atlwireles: The CCTV contract was for crime prevention. It was not 100% shield against crime. By the way the major program with CCTV is a frequency problem, the engineers are working on it. The 2nd Nyanya bombing like every other bombing, will be stoppable when Islamic mad men repent. Some of you don't understand the problem, we are currently facing in this country. So how much terrorism has it prevented? How has law enforcement used intelligence gathered from its installation to stop and thwart terrorism? Do you know how many military humvees and amours $470m could have procured for our soldiers? |

The 2nd Nyanya bombing like every other bombing, will be stoppable when Islamic mad men repent. Some of you don't understand the problem, we are currently facing in this country. We understand the problem in this country, u guys underestimate and trivialize. We are saying let's go hard and fix the problem; you guys are saying " let's party till 2015" the problems will go away. There is no "fierce urgency of now" to get things fixed. You are hoping that everybody is going to turn a new leaf, how about sacking every police office; hoping that everyone would any crime? Closing all court houses; hoping that there would be no cases or folks on the wrong side of the law? |
atlwireles: The absence of CCTV did not cause the bombing at the mall. The religious wickedness of certain groups of people got us here. CCTV has never stopped any suicide bombing on earth, it only helps apprehend the parties responsible. Why award $470m to cronies when you knew that it would not stop anything? Proactively, it's a tool for crime fighting. It could have prevented 2nd Nya-Nya bombing. It could have helped in capturing of Emab bombing |
MissMeiya: I've come to the conclusion that tribalism is due to lack of education. He may never understand the extent to which his country failed him.Nope, this person spewing rubbish is educated. The problem with Naija is that we have "it's my turn to loot mentality. Abach and OBJ did it, therefore, GEJ can do it. |
atlwireles: Go back and review the year $470M contract was awarded, and who awarded it? How do you know the contract has not been revisited and technical issues involved with the implementation. Can you pass a patriot act in Nigeria, without causing a religious/tribal war.The one a block away from Emab hadn't been working when terrorists struck. Minister of FCT was telling individuals to install their own CCTVs. The ones at MMA don't work, was at their parking lot. We demand for actions that can be seen and you guys ask to go and read about them on paper. U cited US example first. Bush hadn't dealt with terrorism b4 9/11. Why can't GEJ be the first president to do? Why are we making excuses for him when he hasn't tried to introduce or implement any policies? |
Mogidi: Its you that don't get it, my point is let them kill themselves, this is great way to decrease our ever increasing population.Common sense is not common. They are not killing themselves- they are killing everyone irrespective of religion, tribe, region. Nya-Nya motor parks are not only used by Muslims? Emab plaza is owned by a businessman from south east. Most of the shoppers that go to Emab come from everywhere in Naija. |
Mogidi: I careless if they make the Sokoto caliphate ungovernable, its good to see you muslims kill ya selves. You guys should bomb Kano, Kaduna and Kafanchan for all I care. You will never get it. They have killed more Christians and southerners in Abuja than in Sokoto. They have caused more problems and carnage in Abuja than Sokoto. |
atlwireles: Americans have not allowed the level of Islamic madness allowed in this country. 9-11 is there, as a constant reminder.President Bush and his advisers sat down and went to work. He championed Patriot Act, homeland Security, TSA, etc.And we are asking GEJ to start with the foundation and folks are calling us name. His administration awarded a$470 million contract for CCTV that's not working. What has GEJ done to reserve this contract and install fully functional units? |
atlwireles: How many Americans are killing themselves daily with hand guns? Why can't they be protected? As if Nigerians are not killed by hand guns on daily basis, armed robbers, kidnappers and now let's add BH killing with guns and bombs. And how many Americans are killed by bombs? |
Mogidi: Let them thrive and flourish as long as they thrive and flourish up north its fine by us. You should blame your people for allowing Boko haram to flourish.Wake up from ur delusion! They are making Abuja inhabitable and ungovernable already. |
Mogidi: Let them thrive and flourish as long as they thrive and flourish up north its fine by us. You should blame your people for allowing Boko haram to flourish. You keep spewing rubbish. President is the C in C of the armed forces. Defense chiefs serve at his discretion. It's time for GEJ and folks like u to accept responsibility! |
Mogidi: In a war setting who's afraid of Boko haram?Ask GEJ why BH keeps overrunning our military check points and units in those areas? |
ahaika23: Nigerians "know-it-all" yet one American Prostitute in america will write one trash as pleases her and they begin to fall all over it like drunk villagers. When una abuse GEJ finish, he will still remain president and most of you would be worse off. I no wan curse anybody again, I don repent. If u wan fight GEJ, flex!Foolishness runs in your DNA! Have u wondered your president- GEJ would send an article for publication to an American print media whose audience is mostly American? Why would your GEJ send an article to a media house that's run by prostitute? |
Mogidi: As long as your ilk in the military/police remain sympathetic to Boko haram cause, there's very little the president can do.Folks like you are the reason why BH thrives and flourishes. It's do-nothing attitude like urs is what GEJ has towed; and we have seen the result. It's collective indifference and passivity that have kept BH stronger. |
okpara ugo: Nobody is blaming the sponsors of terrorism and the monsters who have outgrown them.Well equipped and paid soldiers must be on ground to carry out rescue operation |
immortalvoices: Uneasy lie is the head which wears the crown...let us pray for him with a contrite hrt!Prayers don't rescue nations, actions do! Have u wondered why Nelson Mandela and a Rev Martin Luther King marched? |
Mogidi: Don't worry about my state we can spot an aboki even if he's 1 mile away, thank you.Delusion of grandeur. If Abuja falls(God forbid) your state is captured by just spoken word (surrender) without any shots fired. If these guys had the guts to attack NPF HQs, your state can be overrun in hours. Keep dreaming! |
matrixme: Perhaps you should read the post again, and point out the connection, Einstein. The facts are not isolated.Keep comparing GEJ to Jesus.. Let me ask again what does Naija as a big " Apple " have to do with Leadership that doesn't know how to begin to deal with our security challenges? How does an Op-Ed in NYT/WP/NP deal with Boko Haram? How does $1.2m pay to a PR firm solve Boko Haram problem? |
anonimi: Going through many comments here makes one wonder why WE Nigerians HATE OUR country and by extension OURSELVES so muchUSA goes ocean length and depth to rescue just One of her own in a foreign enemy dominated territory while our president can't protect folks like you in Abuja. |
matrixme: Well, it's very easy to sit right in Obama-led America and judge harshly, some country beffudled with controversies. Unfortunately, Nigeria is Africa's 'big Apple'. It's here Americans, Chinese and any other international enterpreneurs are rushing to, to sink their assets because of obvious reasons. Sometimes I'm a GEJ critic myself, but when I try to look at the bigger picture, I'll say in his Fedora, he's doing quite a great job, protecting the interests of the country from the hands of ravenous wolves. Even the very best of human leader many of us worship today, Jesus Christ, was at a point in time, killed 'cos of his leadership strategies. No country was ever built in a day, no matter the best effots of their capable leaders. Let them snicker on and keep wishing us good luck. We'd sure need it.Well, it's very easy to sit right in Obama-led America and judge harshly, some country beffudled with controversies. Unfortunately, Nigeria is Africa's 'big Apple'. Mogidi: Do something like what? Kneel down and beg Buhari to stop bombing us, that will never happen. You are naive to think that if they have crippled Abuja, that your state is untouchable. That was how MEND and co started.. Kidnapping Oyibo oil workers, then Naija oil worker, politicians then every Tom, Dick and Harry. |
MissMeiya: Can you imagine? They say "respect him, he's above you" then turn around and equate us by asking if we can do better. Which is it?In 2013, terrorists in Algeria took hostage of about 800 oil workers, the govt launched rescue operation under 24hrs; rescued nearly all the kidnapped worker and then captured and killed all the terrorists WITHOUT international support. Now,we are asking peasants in the village and bushes to chime in with their ideas.. Guess what? The president is allergic to ideas and views that are contrary to the ones espoused by his pot bellied advisers and sycophants. |
beremole: No one is telling us how exactly they want the girls to be rescued alive, all they do is criticise. That's why we elected a president to come up with solutions and ideas! Fool. It's not my job to profer solutions. The president can go ask Algerian president how he dealt with terrorism under 24hrs in 2013. Folks like u keep making excuses for incompetent leadership. |
Same situation all over. Untrained and ill prepared emergency workers. Public handling bleeding victims without protection |
