The bolded has answered your question.

I hope you can distinguish between language and dialect?

There is nothing like yoruboid.

Yoruba is a different language from Igala.

They don't share any linguistic similarity and Igala is not a yoruba dialect
Certain traditions even hold that the Igala are of Fulani origin, simply because of the similarities in their physical features.  It IS clear that Fulanis do not speak a Kwa language. And owing to the linguistic affinity, others affirm the Yoruba connections. For Byng Halt notes that, "It is not surprising that within a short period of arrival in Igala land, a Yoruba is well acquainted with the language.”  He attributes the ease in learning the language to the closeness of the two languages. Armstrong sticks to this same view when he said: "the most definite historical statement that can be made about Igala is that . they had a common origin with the Yoruba and that the separation took place long enough ago to allow for their fairly considerable linguistic differences. There is a whole corpus of oral traditions on the origin of the Igala people.

In Yoruba land, there are a lot of dialects and some have similarities
Ekiti
Owo
Akoko
Ilaje
Ondo
All these people speak different languages that the other tribes don't understand So to prove that the languages are not similar, you need to research very dialect not just the general Yoruba language.

What does this tell you about the claim that fuel is being subsidised at all.

The best experts on the subject are General Buhari(rtd) and Professor Tam David West, and both have made it clear that it is a lie to say that government has ever subsidsed fuel.

The reason that there are so many inconsistencies is because, the whole concept of subsidy is a lie.

Question then remains is why the government is claiming to subsidise fuel when they are not.
There was no subsidy in prof tam west's time, but subsidy started when govt started selling crude to nnpc at international price.

You will even have the benefit of severence pay, and you are still complaining. What about the workers in NITEL, NIPOST and other government parastatals? What of the unpaid pensioners in their 70s and 80s, who are asked to come and queue in the sun for verification? What of the Nigerian Railways Corporation Workers?

Are you bankers better than them? Are you? Your MDs caused people to lose millions in the stock market through their speculative activities. When you operate in an environment where monetary gain is put ahead of human sympathy, this is what you get.

You are a victim of your own system. Go out your skills to work and stop complaining.
How can you blame an employee in akure for the actions/looting in Lagos. Don't rejoice about another persons misfortune. If sanusi had given the banks time, they would have bounced back, afterall, it's not like any of the others banks were clean.

The flooding is likely be most severe in Lagos because of its position at the southern end of the Gulf of Guinea where stronger tropical storms from the South Atlantic create storm surges up to three metres high, Cramer said. He estimates that most of the 15 million inhabitants of Lagos will be displaced and Nigeria’s southern Delta region where oil installations are located will also be swamped.

Other major urban centres in West Africa which experts have identified as at risk of flooding are Banjul in The Gambia, Bissau in Guinea Bissau, and Nouakchott in Mauritania. All three capitals are at or close to sea level.

Re-Dividing Africa: The Yinon Plan is very Much Alive and at Work,

In regards to Africa, Tel Aviv sees securing Africa as part of its broader periphery. This broader or so-called “new periphery” became a basis of geo-strategy for Tel Aviv after 1979 when the “old periphery” against the Arabs that included Iran, which was one of Israel’s closest allies during the Pahlavi period, buckled and collapsed with the 1979 Iranian Revolution. In this context, Israel’s “new periphery” was conceptualized with the inclusion of countries like Ethiopia, Uganda, and Kenya against the Arab states and the Islamic Republic of Iran. This is why Israel has been so deeply involved in the balkanization of Sudan.

In the same context as the sectarian divisions in the Middle East, the Israelis have outlined plans to reconfigure Africa. The Yinon Plan seeks to delineate Africa on the basis of three facets: (1) ethno-linguistics; (2) skin-colour; and, finally, (3) religion. To secure the realm, it also so happens that the the Institute for Advanced Strategic and Political Studies (IASPS), the Israeli think-tank that included Perle, also pushed for the creating of the Pentagon's U.S. Africa Command (AFRICOM).

An attempt to separate the merging point of an Arab and African identity is underway. It seeks to draw dividing lines in Africa between a so-called "Black Africa" and a supposedly "non-Black" North Africa. This is part of a scheme to create a schism in Africa between what are assumed to be "Arabs" and so-called "Blacks."

This objective is why the ridiculous identity of an "African South Sudan" and an "Arab North Sudan" have been nurtured and promoted. This is also why black-skinned Libyans have been targeted in a campaign to "colour cleanse" Libya. The Arab identity in North Africa is being de-linked from its African identity. Simultaneously there is an attempt to eradicate the large populations of "black-skinned Arabs" so that there is a clear delineation between "Black Africa" and a new "non-Black" North Africa, which will be turned into a fighting ground between the remaining "non-Black" Berbers and Arabs.

In the same context, tensions are being fomented between Muslims and Christians in Africa, in such places as Sudan and Nigeria, to further create lines and fracture points. The fuelling of these divisions on the basis of skin-colour, religion, ethnicity, and language is intended to fuel disassociation and disunity in Africa. This is all part of a broader African strategy of cutting North Africa off from the rest of the African continent.

PoliticsRe: Idi Wahala Laarin Yoruba Ati Ibo: Why Yorubas And Igbos Wont Be Politic. Friends by ade80: 6:23pm On Jan 21, 2012
It was actually a war between the igbos and Hausas the Yorubas did not join in the war until it got to ore

The division was led mostly by northern officers. After facing unexpectedly fierce resistance and high casualties, the right-hand Nigerian column advanced on the town of Nsukka which fell on 14 July, while the left-hand column made for Garkem, which was captured on 12 July. At this stage of the war, the other regions of Nigeria (the West and Mid-West) still considered the war as a confrontation between the north (mainly Hausas) against the east (mainly Igbos)[citation needed]. But the Biafrans responded with an offensive of their own when, on 9 August, the Biafran forces moved west into the Mid-Western Nigerian region across the Niger river, passing through Benin City, until they were stopped at Ore (in present day Ondo State) just over the state boundary on 21 August, just 130 miles east of the Nigerian capital of Lagos.

Faseun Canvasses Support for Obasanjo

Tokunbo Adedoja

2 December 2003

Lagos — Traffic was yesterday brought to a stand-still for about three hours on the old toll-gate/ 7up axis in Ikeja following a rally organised in support of President Olusegun Obasanjo by the founder leader of the Oodua Peoples Congress(OPC), Dr. Fredrick Faseun.

The rally, which kicked off at about 11am was attended by hundreds of members of the Yoruba militia group from various parts of Lagos and neigbouring states in the Southwest. Dec 2, 2003 – "They think because he does not enjoy Yoruba support, they want to ,  force Obasanjo out of office, we will tell them what OPC stands for",

http://allafrica.com/stories/200312020624.html
As opc confirmed, he did not enjoy Yoruba support, that says it all.
