I knew Bisi when he first got the lecturing job. We lived on the same floor in PG Hall. He appears to be very friendly. But I will not put this beyond him. Nigeria is a very oppressive society and our universities especially Ife is a microcosm of oppression. Anybody with an ounce of power wants to oppress the other. This is the reality of Nigeria.

They are now employing bad eggs into the system. That was how one newly employed lecturer in the dept of Economics, who was still staying in the hall was caught recently in Pg hall
peeping in on a female member of the hall in block K or L' bathroom around past 5 in the morning. Although, he was asked to leave the hall but the case was buried.
I wont be surprised if the guy (the guy in red) too does that later in the nearest future because he is a pervert.

It must be done before they ( department , faculty and Pg college) sit on admission and that's after the application has closed.

The exam date is from 15th-19th January 2019 for 2020/2021 for CBT test. The date posted looks some how to me . Another problem is how to locate the CBT center for each zone.

This is very accurate. Max for Msc is 3 sessions while max for PhD is 4 sessions. I did my Msc in Oau.

You should forward your supporting documents (e.g waec, nysc discharge, passport photography, bsc certificate, birth certificate etc) by yourself or send it by someone/courier to the Pg college admission office and to the department you chose. Your school will transfer the transcript to Pg college and to the department. You can track your admission progress online

Lautech lecturers have been previously owed 8 months salary from the 2016/2017 session which led to a 10 month strike in 2017. Truth is Lautech is not self sustainable. With lots of corruption going on in the school with over 96 bank accounts which was discovered during the Ajimobi/Ogbeni era. The solution then was to increase school fees from 65k/72k to 90k/120k for returning students and 140k/170k for new students to fund payment of salaries but it seems this is not enough for a school with one of the highest number of Professors and Ph.D holders.

Possible scenarios are the money disbursed by the Osun state government last week which is for August salaries is either audio money or cabals in the school have taken a huge chunk of it. The owner governments need to do more to cut leakages in the school if there is and step up their game in resolving this crisis

some public servants in that school are embezzling the money.
