Hidradenitis suppurativa is also known as acne inversa. According to Mayo clinic, Hidradenitis suppurativa (HS) is a rare, relapsing, inflammatory skin condition that is characterized by small, painful lumps under the skin and are mostly found where skin folds such as the groin, the armpit, under the breast and between buttocks. HS is not well-recognised even though its presentation is distinct and obvious from other skin condition. Contrary to popular belief, natural hair care does not really have to be expensive, especially when there are alternatives to store bought products. These alternatives are less expensive and accessible. You do not need plenty money to incorporate natural hair regime. If you are like me with low budget and still want to take care of your hair to have an healthy, soft to touch and shinning hair then, you can give these following alternatives a try: Shampoo: Our dear multipurpose African black soap can be used as shampoo. It is good for natural hair because it's made from natural ingredients that help nourish the hair. You can get black soap in market at a very cheap price. Recipe for African black soap shampoo: Cut the soap into smaller pieces, place the pieces into a bowl and pour lukewarm water to melt the soap. You can add honey and any oil of your choice to the dissolved black soap and shake well. Wash you hair with this solution with more focus to your scalp. Conditioner: It is important to reintroduce moisture back into the hair after the hair has been striped of its moisture. Aloe Vera gel can be used to condition the hair. Deep Conditioner: There are two types of deep conditioner (DC); protein deep conditioner and moisturising deep conditioner. Both are very important in growing healthy hair as the former helps to strengthens the hair while the latter provides intense moisture to the hair. a) Protein Deep conditioner: The following can be used to infuse protein into the hair; eggs, mayonnaise, gelatin, milk and rice water. Protein treatment gives more volume and strengthens the hair. This treatment should be followed by moisturising deep conditioner as protein treatment makes the hair hard. Note: protein treatment should not be too much as excess protein treatment maybe detrimental and lead to breakage. Protein treatment should be done once a month or whenever you notice your hair needs protein, let your hair communicate to you. i) Eggs: Whole egg can be used solely or it can be mixed with honey and any oil ii) Milk: Liquid milk too can be used as an alternative option in protein DC. You can apply the milk by putting it in a spray bottle, then apply to a freshly washed hair and cover with plastic bag allow to stay for 20- 45mins before you rinse out. iii) Rice water as protein DC: Rice water too can be used as protein DC due to the presence of protein in rice water. Rinse out your hair with rice water, wait for a few minutes and rinse out with plain water. Recipe for rice water: wash 8tbs of rice, place inside a pot, pour water and place on a burner/stove to parboil. Remove the rice water and store it for 24-48 hours for fermentation to take place. iv)Edible mayonnaise too can be applied directly to freshly washed hair. v) you can use the combination of egg+ mayonnaise + oil + honey as protein DC. b) Moisturizing deep conditioner: There are various options for infusing intense moisture into the hair, among which are; avocados, pawpaw, bananas, aloe Vera, coconut water, etc. Any of this fruit mentioned can be blended, sieve with clean handkerchief to remove shaft, add humectants and oil. Apply the blended mix unto the hair and then cover with plastic bag or cap for 30mins. Note: Moisturising deep conditioning should be done weekly or after each wash. Natural hair craves for moisture, thrives on moisture, and moisturised hair is less prone to breakage. Leaves in conditioner: makes hair more manageable by adding slip, which inturn makes untangling hair easy. It makes the hair smooth, and strengthens the hair. This should be followed by oil or butter to seal in moisture. Alternative leave in conditioners are okra gel, aloe Vera gel and green tea. Okra gel can be extracted by boiling diced okra fingers with only plain water or my soaking diced okra fingers for few minutes with water to allow the gel and nutrients mix with the water. Oil: coconut oil, carrot oil, palm kernel oil, olive oil are sealant that can be used in natural hair care. One or combination of these oil can be incorporated into natural hair care. Oil helps to seal in moisture into the hair shaft. Butter: shea butter (Ori) can be use as sealant. It is cheap and can be seen in market. Humectants: honey and glycerin can be used. In the treatment of natural hair, it is important to note that less is more, and that our natural hair journey is different. |

Got this bookmark on abortion from my Friend's church (UBC) in Lautech during an antiabortion program 12 years ago and I kept it in my bible ever since as a reminder that God knows, loves and values human life even from the womb....killing innocent human beings simply because they are in the way and cannot defend themselves is wrong since a zygote is the beginning of a new human being. And killing it amounts to MURDER irrespective of the stage of development/environment. It's better to give out a baby for adoption or be a baby mama than add murder to the résumé. #Jeremiah1vs5 #Saynotoabortion.

I was told by a seven year old that she is now "maintaining her skin". I was surprised to learn that a young girl would know about skin maintenance aka bleaching or whitening. |
saltyatarodo:What If she didn't cheat but was just good friends with the guy before she married him. |
Kokaine:I don't support ladies visiting guys indiscriminately. No matter how good some guys appear, some of them have dirty mind and they may decide to act on their thought whenever opportunity presents itself. So, a lady has to be conscious of her environment, know more about supposedly " male friend" and know how to defend herself in case of rape. Our safety is in our hands!!! |
LeonOgu:You are right! There is nothing new under the Sun. It is good to live a life that pleases God. It is important to know that some people abstain from sexual related things for moral values and not necessarily because they are religious. |

fero007:You are very correct, the tribalism issue has really eaten deep and only leaders with national interest at heart can help this Nation by treating people justly , stop making divisive statements that incite civil war, transparency in government, preaching love and inter marriages are few of the things that could foster peace, unity and love among Nigerians. |
Wayneju:No, It Is Not Illegal To Marry A Virgin In Guam |
morpheus24:True |
Should looks really be used to judge where someone comes from in Nigeria? I'm a yoruba lady who is always mistaken for Deltan/Ibo by people even by my fellow Yorubas. How are Igbo, Yoruba, Hausa and other ethnics ought to look like? What are those features that distinguished them 'cos I am not understanding. Not being able to correctly place my tribe from my looks is one example that looks is a weak judge of one's tribe. I'm proud of my culture and heritage but I believe in project Nigeria and I don't like people asking which tribe someone comes from 'cos it is divisive and doesn't encourage unity in Nigeria. I have lost so much to tribalism and I hate tribalism in all its forms. As Nigerians, we should be able to enjoy all the benefits in one's area of residency without being reminded that one doesn't belong there or being told to go back to one's ancestral states to be relevant. Living like a second class citizen in one's country is a painful one. I believe our treatment of each other should not be based on Tribe or where someone comes from.We are people before tribe and religion set in. #Saynototribalism |
A win would have made our qualification to Afcon2019 more sweeter.....but the incompetent folks robbed us of our sweet passage to Afcon . |

I have been using my L8 plus for two and a half years now and the battery is still as strong as the first day I bought it. |
she could be a virgin tho....some virgin girls/ladies don't look like a prude o. Most of the virgins these days have swags ooo except for those who are still virgins cos of religious beliefs and not cos it's a personal decision |
She is a strong Lady! |
sogodihno:I didn't say give but they should be given opportunity to show what they can do for the nation. Political parties can field competent people of Igbo extraction and Nigerians will select who they want to govern them. |
There is fire on APC's mountain! |
Human's wickedness is on the increase exponentially |
I think the power should rotate to Eastern Nigeria! They(Igbos) deserve to feel wanted in this country and not to be treated like a second class citizen in their country. Sidelining them would only increase their agitation for Biafra. I pray for undivided Nigeria daily! |
gssdobi:Hilarious!!! |
I think they are cute now |
