I give it to the North when it comes to politics shah. That's probably the only thing they know how to do best ..that is excluding religious fanatism and vawulence. These people don't have what it takes to lead a complex state such as Nigeria yet they will not give way for others! Always being beclouded by religion and ethnicity. Its time the South irrespective of tribe and ethnicity unite to stop this nonsense.

This is one of the reasons they object to western education for their women, because they do not want the empowerment that comes with education for their women. They want them to remain in perpetual slavery. The life of the northern women is a very hard one. They are mostly seen and treated as a "thing" created to be used by the men-folk as they wish. Only the few educated ones among them had escaped this harsh existence.

Some times I get slightly amused when northerners boost of having the power to decide where the next president will come from. They need to know that politics is not just a game of number, but of the intellects in the game. They have suddenly forgotten that the Buhari contested up to 5 time as a democratic candidate before he could win. I remember how he (buhari) was urging the north to go out in the street and start killing if did not win. And did he win even with his mass majority of northerners? Of course he failed woefully. His becoming president is fully because of the support from the West and South, without which he couldn't have won. Do I see an igbo man becoming president in this dispensation? Not likely! But I do strongly believe that if the whole south (south-south, south-west, south east) even north-central states like Benue, kogi, kwara could stand up and unite to say that northern leadership has not gone down well with the common man on the street. And put an end to this "born to rule" nonsense from the north, then no northerner will smell that seat in years to come even with their perceived number advantage.

Currently running my MBA there. If you are an undergraduate, I advise you go to a regular university. There is nothing like studying and having lecturers explain and tutor you on some gray areas of learning. NOUN learning is stressful oo. And the school workers are so freaking annoying and rude!!

I sleep in public transport a lot. It basically makes working in Lagos a bit bearable. Thats why I prefer using BRT. Especially those ones with AC. Why do I sleep in public transport? 1. exhaustion 2. inadequate sleep (life in Lagos is hard!!) 3.
