It's like you people reason with your ass or it's just the quest to belong and join the bandwagon in dragging Erica. If you want to be objective you'll know that that statement came from her talking about how she feels Laycon is making it look like she's forcing friendship with him.
All of you spewing rubbish here to drag her will likely say the same time or even worse in similar situation. These are normal things people do or say. Like when you feel someone is making feel like you are forcing friendship with him and go who does he think he is. What's there? But as una wan quench on top Erica matter, everything must be interpreted negatively.

Biggie needs to generally address the issue of people hiding food. It's very petty and irritating. Funny enough, the housemates that do this are even the ones that always want to appear like they have it all, yet lose it all at the sight of food. Tueh!

Education / Re: Study And Work In Ireland by AdimGreat(f): 6:58pm On Jul 28, 2019
Hello OP

Nice job you are doing.

Could you also give information on employment permit application process for Ireland. I have been searching online for the requirements and I only seem to see that one would require an employment contract from an employer in Ireland before applying for the Visa.
How do I go about securing employment while still here in Nigeria to be able to apply for the Visa?

Thanks for the response.

Someone already mentioned that none is eligible for ECA but will still seek second opinion from the thread you referred.

- PRINCE 2 (Practitioner)
- CompTIA Security+
- Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)

Would be grateful to get any info concerning this from anyone here.

Travel / Why Are Nigeria Universities Charging Exorbitant Fees For WES Verification? by AdimGreat(f): 1:49pm On Jun 13, 2019
I'm currently evaluating my ESUT degree certificate with WES. The application for Transcript from ESUT costs N35,000 to send to WES.

Now, upon receipt, WES will send an email to the school to verify the transcript sent to them. If I'm correct, ESUT is expected to respond to this request via email, which will cost them nothing! Ironically, ESUT is requesting for another payment of the sum of N35,000 to respond to this email.

I can't seem to justify the rationale behind this exorbitant cost. This is a total rip off.

So please Nairaland people, what is your own experience with WES evaluation of degrees obtained in a Nigerian institution? How much did your school charge to complete the whole process?
Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by AdimGreat(f): 1:41pm On Jun 13, 2019
Please has anyone here done WES verification for ESUT degree transcript?

I'm currently in the process. I was first asked to pay N35,000 to send my transcript to WES. And now I'm being asked to pay another N35,000 for verification. This is really crazy and I don't understand why our institutions should be extorting us this way.

N35,000 just to respond to an email??

Has anyone experienced this?

WES can be crazy at times! Do you still have the FedEX tracking code? If yes, use the code and track it on WES' website (NOT on FedEx website). If it was delivered, it will tell you, then screenshot and send to WES via Twitter and also call them on phone.

Unfortunately, I've lost the Fedex tracking number cos it was sent via SMS and I've changed my phone. sad sad
Travel / Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 7 by AdimGreat(f): 7:43am On Apr 24, 2019
I applied for my WES verification since January and I just checked the portal to know the status of my application and WES is saying they didn't receive my WAEC certificate.

Meanwhile the certificate had been sent to them since Febraury by Fedex after I applied at WAEC office, Yaba. I used the tracking number Fedex sent to me to track the package around the period and WES confirmed receipt of the package.

I'm surprised seeing the new status on their portal.

Please has anyone experienced this before? How do I handle this cos the verification has taken too long?

OMG!! This is too heartbreaking. Poor children.

Yet another set of young souls wasted because the people we have in government cannot just do the work they are employed to do. There is no value placed on the lives of Nigerians by those we entrust with our safety.

RIP to all who lost their lives. May God comfort the kids' parents. I hope they survive this tragedy.

God! I can't even imagine this situation.

Why are people so impatient? How does he expect to get the money today today just laik dat?

Today is Saturday, most Banks do not operate on Saturday.
Online transaction limit is less than #1m.

Does he expect that Davido is carrying #1m cash about looking for who to dash?

Politics / How Do I Rectify PVC Validatation Issue? by AdimGreat(f): 9:16am On Sep 20, 2018
Hello fam,

The PVC issued to my brother cannot be validated on INEC portal http://voterreg.inecnigeria.org/. We have sent series of mails to INEC (Email: iccc@inec.gov.ng) on this issue but got no response. Their contact centre is also unreachable through the contact number (Phone: 0700-CALL-INEC) published on their website.

Does anyone know how I can get this rectified?

Dignity in labour. Whatever your hands find to do, do it well. Keep it up slay queen and let other slay queens be encouraged.
I like it when people break barriers and stereotypes. A lady typically is not expected to do this sort of job, but here she is doing it and doing it well. Kudos.

P**is or Va**na should not limit what you can do. The understanding of this is the beginning of our exploration of greater opportunities.

Career / Re: Is This True About People Working In Lagos? by AdimGreat(f): 7:56pm On Aug 11, 2018
Teewhy2:
Average Lagos Salary = #50,000

Transportation Berger to Lekki = @ #650 per day (23)= #14,950

Feeding @ #700/per day = 26 x # 500 = # 13,000

Average Housing (1 bed) = #250,000/12 = # 20,833.33

Total cost = # 48,783.33

At the end of the day person is working for nothing in Lagos.
May God help us.

How can you earn #50k per month and live in a #250k apartment? I think you are exaggerating it, but we get your point. Ideally, a person who earns that low would live in a lower cost house. However, even if what you wrote should be the case, I don't expect such a person to go to far away Berger to get the house when he/she can get at a closer location to Lekki (like Surulere) for same amount. las las, Lagos lifestyle is not friendly with low income earners.

But these are grown women and not minors na. These are greedy young women that must have agreed to be 'trafficked' in the quest to travel to the abroad and make it. I won't be surprised if some of them had nothing doing here in Nigeria.

Notwithstanding tho, thank God they've been rescued cos it's obvious the situation they met there was not what they expected.

I had a similar experience when I lost my brother, though a bit different.

The phone I had at the time was faulty. I usually did not know when it rang but will see the missed calls later.

That was how my brother called me 5 good times the night before he passed on and I missed those calls. I would have returned the calls but I didn't check my phone before I slept off. By the time I called in the morning, he was already too weak to speak. We lost him that day.

I kept imagining what he would have said to me.

Ify, continue to rest in the Lord.
