Soon as you notice blood in their poo, use amprollium and trisulfa for 3 days. Give ordinary water for 2 days and repeat the drugs for another 2 days. After the treatment, give them trisulfa for 2 days once a month till week 18, if they are layers. If they are broilers there's no need. I will however advice you to get a good drugs and vaccine programme and follow it. If you do that and maintain a reasonable level of hygiene you will be able to prevent disease outbreaks.

There are many types of local goats in Nigeria. Is it Obuko, ogunfe, maradi that you need? The first thing to know when sourcing for something is to first know exactly what you need. If you need Obuko you will most likely get that in the south west. The others you can get from Fulani herders around Iseyin in Oyo state but they are far cheaper in the north although you will still have to consider transport cost and travel risks.
