There is already sone fiscal federalism now. All payee taxes go to states. They can also levy all nanner of taxes of any kind.

Mineral rights belong to the Federak government but States can firn companies to develop any mineral resource including oil as JV with the FG and pay taxes and royalties to the FG . Bayelsa can hace its own Shell. The problem is people dobt use their brsins during voting. There are many things that states have the power to do that they are not doing. If you give Bayelsa State to Murray Vruce who has run organizations before you will get a result, if you give it to Mama Peace because if atavustic local brained sentiments you get a different result .

I believe actual GDP contracted under Jonathan in real terms because the power was non existent, refineries were not working and we were importing everything including rice and palm oil.

warfare against him.

You could be pro PDP and still have the objectivity to see Jonathan for what he was . A fake ass, extremely corrupt and dull mediocre leader who assumed qualities he did not have and still never net the standard of tge office he was never qualified for in terms of qualities.

You might also be an APC supporter and see Buhari as a person with possible dictatorial qualities and a man with high power distance who needs to get people closer to himself so as to feel the pulse of his own government and the people. This is low IQ. He would not have been a able to control leakages and corruption. Nigeria would have taken about 30bn of loans. The combination of the loans , corruption, import duty waivers, capital flight and so on would have made the Naira heavily devalued. N500 to 1 dollar
