ever since i've been posted to owerri to serve my fatherland, i have been seeing some strange but amazing things..

it might be a norm to people already living here but i am awed..
from raining everyday, to huge presence of hotels and absence of industries, to prostitution, to exclusively beautiful girls everywhere i go, to lazy workers working only three days in a week, to clubbing every night, to yahoo yahoo and scammers; the list is endless...

this one that i spotted recently at owerri municipal really took me by suprise.. i must confess..

it rains every other day in owerri.. but God prolly wants to reassure owerri people again and again and again that he would not wash them away with water..

irrespective of the amount of rainfall, i haven't heard cases of flooding or water disasters anywhere here..

Owerri people must be very holy.. God bless owerri people and girls dem for me..

The Federal government has scrapped the National Youth Service Corps NYSC in a bid to cut down spendings. This was reached after today's Federal Executive Council Meeting. It will be recalled that the Federal Government had scrapped Post UTME to enable JAMB carry out its statutory responsibility of conducting admissions into the nation's Universities, Polytechnics and colleges of Education.
Meanwhile, all youth corps members currently serving now will be allowed to round off their service year with full financial benefits .
