@Lalasticlala. Front page please. Cancer is ravaging our people. |
NIGERIANS ARE DYING OF CANCER, WHO WILL COME TO THEIR RESCUE? Radiation treatment is a major component of cancer treatment. United Nations estimated that more than half of all people with cancer will need radiation treatment to achieve long term control or cure. It went ahead to recommend one radiation treatment equipment to a maximum of 250000 people. Nigeria is the most populous African country with estimated 180 million people. We have the highest cancer burden in Africa, yet we have about the fewest number of radiation treatment machines per unit population at almost 20 million people to one machine. Sadly the eight radiation treatment machines in Nigeria are bedeviled with frequent breakdown and unavailable spare parts. Many cancer patients are unable to receive required treatment and those who are lucky have to wait for up to a year or more. By this time their cancer would advanced and many would have died. Nigeria need urgent intervention to procure more radiation treatment machines to stem the tide of untimely deaths due to cancer among our people. Money used to buy one bullet proof jeep can buy a radiation treatment machine that can treat millions of people. I call on our respected President, Mohammadu Buhari, all his lieutenants, members of the National Assembly, the State Governors and kind hearted Nigerian philanthropists to come to the aid of our people. Nigerians are needlessly dying of cancer, PLEASE COME TO OUR RESCUE. Kindly help share until this gets to the right ears. AAA Advocating for the Nigerian cancer patients. |
The screen depends on so many things. Resolution and PPI are just a small part of what makes a good screen. LCD or AMOLED, RGB tuning, Saturation, Brightness, Contrast ratio etc are some of what makes a good or a bad screen. Unless, you look at a screen, you can not determine whether it is good or bad by merely reading the specs. |
Rolings:Extreme padipadi. What qualified Roli for that position other than sleeping with Bode George, and maybe Jonathan on the side. |
MOJI CHRISTIANAH ADEYEYE, PH.D. Professor of Pharmaceutics, Manufacturing Science and Drug Product Evaluation. A real round peg in a round hole. Eminently qualified to head NAFDAC. Buhari got this one right. www.elimpedpharma.com/files/125775341.pdf |

OCTAVO:Me too. No update, no custom rom. |
itsmythurn:An idiot has come to spam the thread. |
Anyone who says Ajimobi hasn't done "ANYTHING" in Ibadan is either an opposition politician or not an Ibadan person. Ajimobi has a lot to dislike him for, but road infrastructure is not one of them. Many of the roads he completed in his first term are still solid. The numerous ones he has recently embarked on are looking promising. He is also extending pipe born water to many communities. I saw water pipes being laid along Iyana-Offa and Apete. I live in Akobo and the single lane road from Idi-Ape to Basorun and Akobo is usually a nightmare because of traffic holdups. Thank God for Ajimobi, the expansion and dualization of that road has commenced. The people in Ologuneru too are eventually going to get relief as the road is also currently being expanded. Could he have done more, more quickly? Yes! Are we grateful for the ones he is doing now, however late they are in his administration? A resounding YES. From what you can call a "complete" Ibadan person. |
Godswill90:He is currently dualising/expanding Gate-Iwo Road, Gate to Akobo Ojurin road and Eleyele-Ologun-eru road, in addition to Onireke, Eleyele, Jericho and other roads he has done. On road infrastructure, Ajimobi is doing very well. And I was born and bred in Ibadan. And I live and work full time there. |
Who drives a personal car to a potential riot? Only a fool! |
cursedAbiola:Too stupid to even do a simple search? Gionee is Blu, Blu is Gionee. You can interchange their firmwares if you know which is which. Gionee M5 Plus is Blu Energy XL. I was running Blu firmware on my 5 plus. |
The other day, I wrote that people should stop buying Gionee Phones due to their persistent failure to update their phones. https://www.nairaland.com/3897582/stop-buying-gionee-phones Today, Amazon.com has pulled the re-bagged Gionee phones (Known as Blu in the US) from their shelf. The phones are known to send user data including SMS and possibly credit card details to servers in China. If you are using Gionee phones, you should be wary. I hope NCC will liaise with their American counterparts to ensure that our Gionee phones, and may be other chinko phones are not spying on us. https://www.engadget.com/2017/08/01/amazon-removes-blu-smartphones/ |
doctape:It can not be unlocked, don't waste your time and money. The US Cellular S5 I bought eventually became a game phone for my son. |
NwaAmaikpe:Nope. A true leader would realize that this kind of stupid grandstanding is of no value. Why must a project be commissioned in the rain? Is the commissioning a matter of life and death that can not wait for the rain to stop? After the commissioning he will be serenaded in his jeep with hot coffee while the remaining people will find some shelter to shake out the rain. |
Bluetooth headset, 90K. For people with more money than sense. I hail o. |
I see Gionee marketers have invaded my thread. I'm calling out Gionee's attitude of not updating their phones. If you are happy to use Windows XP on your computer, that is your business. The rest of us have the right to ask that a phone that costs N120K to buy should run latest OS and get updated for at least two years after release. My two living Gionee phones (M5 and M5Plus) are not serving me right now. The M5 is with wify, while the M5Plus is enjoying its retirement in my drawer, waiting to be dashed out. I will sell it for 50K to anyone who likes running old lollipop on their phones. Only Ibadan peeps, please. By the way, my Mi Max, which costs about half of what I paid Konga for my M5Plus, has Snapdragon 652, 6.44 inch screen, 3GB of RAM, 64GB Storage, outstanding battery (4850mah) and running Android Nougat 7.1.2. I have no doubt that I will get a custom rom upgrade to Android O when it lands. The Gionee marketers should keep using their outdated phones. |
kick:Yes, they admittedly make good phones, but by failing to update them, they are making them obsolete very fast. Many of their phones are in fact obsolete out of the box. Updating a phone is not only to get new fancy OS, but also have the latest security updates. Phones with old operating systems are security risks. Until Gionee commits to updating their phones, even if only the high end ones, people should stop buying them. Period. |
I have purchase three Gionee phones and I have encouraged at least four friends of mine to do the same. I have forgotten the model of the first one, but it was one of the earliest ones. The second was Marathon M5 purchased mainly because of its humongous battery. I actually loved the phone as it cured me of “dead phone anxiety syndrome” where you keep checking your phone battery levels, carrying around power bank or looking around for where to charge your phone at mid day. Gionee M5 was a solid phone. Great performance, good camera and great battery life. So, when I wanted to upgrade, I moved up to Gionee M5 Plus for the bigger screen, bigger storage and RAM. The two phones are great performers with outstanding battery life. But, I hate the Gionee skin on the android. It is called Amigo UI. I hated it, but I found ways around it and I established a fairly passable relationship with it. Sadly, Gionee does not update its phone to newer android versions. This is the unfortunate undoing of Gionee phones; they do not receive android updates beyond what came with them. Needless to say that both my M5 and M5 Plus are stuck with Android Lollipop (L) even now that we are on the verge of getting Android O. The situation of custom ROM is even worse. Since Gionee does not comply with the GPL, it does not release the kernel sources for its phones, so independent developers are unable to create custom ROMs and improve the phone. So, unless you like using outdated OS or buying new phones every time a new android phone update is released, STAY AWAY FROM GIONEE. I’m currently using a Xiaomi Mi Max running custom Android ROM based on the latest 7.1.2 Nougat and I’m one happy camper. https://naijatek./2017/06/24/stop-buying-gionee-phones/ lalasticlala |
I'm not sure they are both doctors. The male has a "doctor's" stethoscope (Diaphragm and bell) while the lady has a "nurse's" stethoscope (diaphragm only). |
Is this how this girl want to live her life? Is this all she wants to be remembered for? Being a nobody, apart from getting bleeped and having a baby for a musician? What can reduce a full bodied person to this pitiful state of non-stop clubbing, and decent prostitution? What a life? |

If a man can Bleep you, make you pregnant and then have a baby for him, but he is unwilling to marry you, something big must be wrong with you. It is not something to be proud of. Baby mama my foot! |
bluejay242001:Where are you based? |
Gionee M5 Plus in mint condition. 80k or nearest offer. Ibadan peeps preferred. 080----3.71..4___8252. SMS only, please.

If you live in a place where there is no electricity at all, may be. My problem with it are the following. 1. You must pay for a minimum of 20 days in a month or it will be taken away from you. 2. If you use it even for just one hour in a day, you pay the full daily price. 3. It will cost you about N3,000 per month for very limited power. 4. It is low capacity. With small sized TV, it will run out in not more than 2-3 hours in the night, may be better during the day. On days when it rains and heavy cloud with little sunshine, you will have no light, especially if you exhausted it the previous night. 5. You will only stop paying after 5 years and by then, the battery will probably be dead. 6. This is just mindless money-making by MTN and Lumos and I suspect that it will fail for lack of patronage. They may be forced to review their prices later. |
Location, price? |
This will be a total rip off! N3000/month for limited power! DC fan, no fridge, no TV, no water pumping, no ironing? How much do I pay NEPA per month sef? You will be silly to buy this. What happened if NEPA comes after paying N133 for the day? MTN and wayo! |
When you see Made in Nigeria with German Experience, you know someone is trying to scam someone. What does the nonsense "German experience" mean? Emeka in Salvation Army road in Ibadan has been coupling this thing for me since way back and the guy no even get Ghana experience. |
