I want to explain to all Jw members & any one who care to read that not every ex-jw were disfellowship & that freedom to live a sinful life isn't the reason that some devoted members choose to walk away from ur organisation. I shall post here all the reasons I know could make a sane person walk away from ur organisation for good. Any ex-jw or non Jw can add to the list if he/she feels incline to do so. This could clear the misconception they have abt those leaving (apostates),or if this information isn't useful to the JWs, it could be useful to any other person that care to read. I shall post & explain the reasons one after the other in the comment section

But there is a little girl involved!!!

I know she is not your problem, her own mother abandoned her, her own father cannot be there for her and somehow she is now in your care. But life is full of unexpected situations.

This is a test of character and posterity will judge you for whatever decision you make now.

If it were me, I will stay. Not for the lying husband or his irresponsible ex, but for the little girl who clearly needs you.

Ok, agreed the man didn't tell her but did she at anytime ask the man if he had a child somewhere and the man denied it? No! So no case here.

Shes just wants to have her cake and eat it. Shes not willing to sacrifice or support her spouse. The man is also having a hard time and needs her support but no, she's only concerned about herself alone. she's just being self-centered.

There's nothing like deceit. She should learn to ask questions in her dealings with people next time. I guess she got carried away by what she was enjoying then and never bothered to do the needful.

The man is insincere and selfish if he expects her to take care of another woman's special needs kid- even if she's not pregnant. However, leaving the marriage still leaves the kid stranded. What I think she could do to help the kid and her marriage (if it's worth salvaging):
1. Get her husband to return the kid to the birth mum same way she brought her to him
2. Take the kid to a home - I carried out s study on PWD and I know there are some homes where they take them in. Though like you said, it may not be totally free but I believe it's nothing near 200k. They even have some abandoned kids there
3. Even if she'll leave him, she can help that child get some stability before leaving. I'm just about the child

There are some NGOs taking care of PWD, you and your husband should shop for one around you. If you live in Ibadan, I know of Jesus Kids Academy for children with Autism. I understand it's not your problem, really...but you can still help her find a home. Best of luck.

I was really surprised to see 1 or 2 empathetic responses before you...

Most comments were really cold-hearted. The husband lied which is bad. But this lady fleeing at the very first sign of trouble is a pointer that the love for the man was never there. The man knew she would flee if she knew the truth and that's why he lied.

Just 2 months and she wants to leave? I think that's the best for both parties anyways before she poisons the girl out of frustration.

Thank you . Right now he can't afford that 200k monthly , his younger sister has refused to come and help taking care of the child. Me too I can't kill myself in my condition and I will leave next month.
