2 1 in Electrical Electronics Engineering and you are targeting the oil company? This is one of the reasons why people short change themselves and Nigeria continues to remain a dumping ground for imported electronics. If the 2 1 is based on merit why don't you become a millionaire overnight building and installing inverters for homes and offices that are looking for alternatives to generators? |
What's the power consumption like? These days power ratings matter a lot. |
Seems the originator of this thread is sad that the situation in Palestine has not gotten as bad as what you have in Sudan. |
@RichyBlack, First you tried to rescue davidylan from self destruction now you are trying to rid this bawolomo of his useless sense of reasoning. Stop helping these people so they will continue to show the world how they think like mad men abi na boys. |
real_demi:What's with Femi Falana? Nairaland sef! |
Dictatorship ke? There is a difference between freedom of speech and careless journalism that could cause havoc in any nation. Based on the rumour instability could arise as many Northerners are already talking about making sure that the North does not lose out should Yar'adua go as they have a slot that must be filled. So, for Channels to air such serious issues based on unverified information then the TV station deserves to be sanctioned. The other time we were told that Ibori's plane was found somewhere in West Africa and the papers made a lot of money selling trash to unsuspecting Nigerians. Our media houses should wake up to responsible journalism, enough of the lies and misinformation that tend to cause problems in Nigeria while they smile to the banks. |
bawomolo:What a stupid response. So it is ok for the US to use atomic bomb on 2 civilian targets because it feels that it is the safest way to end the war but it is not ok when countries that have never used nuclear weapons or atomic weapons are developing nuclear technologies for peaceful means? This guy I sincerely believe is cursed with olodoness and the curse is really working. |
See me see trouble, I have already informed you that it is in your father's territory and you still don't get it? Your olodoness is getting out of hand silly pig. |
Nigeria1@;:I no know say Canada get Nepa for dia. Nigeria1, na you biko!!!! |
yemmyse:So, leadership in Nigeria is now about trust? The type of trust the Yorubas displayed to get OBJ into power abi? Don't start what you know very little about and more importantly don't use this thread to display your bias towards the Igbos. Be courageous and bold, insult the Igbos if you must don't just be hypocritical. |
People are losing sleep over what Iran may want to do when they are comfortable with Israel developing and storing nuclear weapons and the US using atomic bombs on 2 civilian populations (the only country to have done so). Talk of unadulterated hypocrisy and complete stupidity. |
Tell them make dem hear. |
No, it is in your father's territory wise one. Keep fooling yourself silly pig. |
RichyBlacK:@RichyBlack, So you are still trying to pay attention to the many lies of davidylan. No need to do that because so many people now correctly rate him as a bloody liar and an ignorant child. It seems he does not understand what happened in 1948, tell him. |
Some people are trying to water down this serious issue by reproducing posts from other sources while others imply that the traders may be showing off hence the need to kidnap them. Some people here are mere ethnic bigots and there is nothing they can do to hide their very despicable penchant for hatred based on race or ethnicity. These people stink to high heavens, real shame. |
What was the originator of this article thinking when he implied that Russia was the aggressor? Is this part of the propaganda machine based on lies that the West is selling to the rest of the world? Russia was attacked by Georgia and Russia responded swiftly and decisively as a world power should. And who is comparing this to US illegal invasion of Iraq based on lies? And who is comparing this to Israel destroying infrastructure in Lebanon based on the kidnapping of 2 Israeli soldiers? The level of hypocrisy and sycophancy is getting so high by the West wannabes on this forum. |
Answer the question or go look for answers to the question if you don't know them. Trying to confuse yourself with your useless rhetorics won't help in any way. Did you really go through what you put down before submitting it? I think not. |
blackspade:GBAM!!!! Irony + Hypocrisy + Eye Service + Sycophancy = USA or UK or Australia Unfortunately, some of us have sold our hearts to these countries and as such anything they do seems right until we are directly affected by their double standards. |
The NYSC is still relevant. May be we all need to be realistic about our expectations as regards the scheme. There are people that would never have left their state of origins if not for the scheme and that alone is a good point. For those that are serious it gives one the final opportunity to make mistakes and get away with them, something you cannot really do in real employment. |
It is a shame that people are confusing respect for the country with protection of the thieves. Sometimes, I just resign to the conclusion that many of the users of this forum are in the 16 - 25 yrs age bracket and as such many of them are not realistic in their thinking. Some think is ways one could only imagine in Hollywood movies. Nigerians can do more with the way they use their brains. We should be able to process information intelligently and try to base our discussions on facts, truth, common sense and logic. Anyone supporting the FBI coming down to Nigeria to ask for our people to be handed over to them is simply being shortsighted and ignorant. Even Bush with all his many blunders was busy trying to make lighter the punishment for corrupt government officials because many people in his government are corrupt. What of the money Enron squandered? Who is going to hold them accountable for our money? |
This is why those that sell information whether real or not will continue to make money. Nigerians don't value genuine information, they prefer sweet promises no matter how unrealistic they may be. It is a real shame to know that people believes stuff they cannot even substantiate. Free calls, free food, free bed, free everything. Na only air and life I know that are free and they are from God not man. |
Inverter back up solutions can last for up to one week if necessary. The number of appliances determine the inverter capacity while the autonomy needed determines the number of batteries that you will be needing for the backup proper. The last time I used a generator in my office was over 4 years ago and I cannot work in the office without power. |
I didn't know that the UN supported the illegal invasion of Iraq by the US and Britain, this is really new information, thanks. So, the arabs have to pay with their lives for what the germans did? Does this make any sense to you? It seems that you are simply repeating what you have been hearing for quite a long time and as such you cannot see what is happening objectively. Enjoy, what goes around comes around, I have seen people cry over what they were laughing at when others were involved. |
Big B1:I guess the content above sums up the simple and straightforward solution to our problems in Nigeria. |
Crimes committed in Nigeria should be tried in Nigeria. Nigeria is not a part of the US. FBI my foot, the same US that does everything possible to prevent any US soldier from being tried for even crimes that are well documented is presenting a proposal to Nigeria to allow them try Nigerians in the US. How about Nigeria sending a proposal to the US to allow Nigeria try all the corrupt Americans that engage in all sorts of scams or 419 deals with their Nigerian partners instead of playing the victim game? |
Oya, let the Nigerian Republicans in the house come out to defend Mccain on this one. Email? Na wah oooo |
@RichyBlack, Glad to know you dey kamkpe. My worry is that these people that tend to turn logic on its head anytime they see words like US or Israel don't even know how to limit the embarrassment they bring to themselves. The good news is that one cannot be both the judge and the jury and just like our leaders in Nigeria sometimes come out and make very ridiculous statements I am not really surprised that some of these Nigerians that live outside Nigeria think like some of our leaders and they are always ready to display their extremely high level of ignorance on issues you have more than enough information about. I go dey pray for them small small sha as people fit dey use their level of reasoning to dey generalize on Nigerians. Do have a wonderful weekend. |
Why don't you start by telling us what you consider as fact or truth or what you don't consider as fact or truth? No sir, fact is not relative. Fact is something that is established. OBJ is male, that is a fact. It does not matter whether you believe he is a female or not. This is an example of fact. Relativity does not hold water here. Truth is also not relative. Understanding of the truth based on perception, experience or preference may be relative but truth in itself is not relative. Israel is carrying out calculated genocide against the Palestinian people. This is truth and it is not relative. That the Western media gives out sometimes distorted information about what is happening does not make the truth relative. All in all and quite unfortunately too, many of us take sides on issues concerning ethnicity, religion, race or gender without considering the issues based on merits or demerits. People come to the table with pre determined mindsets and of course anyone that does not agree with them becomes an enemy instantly. May God Help us all. |
On the ranking proper We need to be certain that the ranking is not based on parameters that the developed nations hope will work for them so they can rip developing nations off all in the name of doing business. If Nigeria is that bad why do we still witness increase in the number of foreign nations and nationals that are ready to bribe their ways into doing business in Nigeria. A ranking that will dwell on how easy it is to start and run a business in Nigeria by Nigerians will make more sense to me. On the issue of government not providing jobs for the graduates This is an unfortunate statement because it is not the duty of the government to provide jobs for people. Government should create the enabling environment for businesses to thrive. Nigerians whether educated or not should learn to use their brains to think through problems and seek ways towards providing solutions. Once you can solve a problem you will always make money, this is simple, this is basic. It is embarrassing to find graduates complaining about jobs when every single problem around is an opportunity to become rich. |
As they say Facts don't lie Facts don't change So, embrace facts and truth and your life will be smooth and peaceful. |
@RichyBlack, Long time, how you dey? No mind some of these people wey dey think with their left hands and the funny thing is that they are ever willing to turn logic on its head just to show their love for anything that has to do with US or Israel no matter what these countries do or say. Real shame |
Tayo-D:A classic nonsense by TayoD whenever he cannot comprehend issues. davidylan:Well, coming from a criminally minded person that has multiple IDs on this forum what can I say? Davidylan, face your studies so you don't become a huge embarrassment to your parents because the way you understand issues clearly shows that you have a very long way to go. As they say, even if you take a pig to the US it will remain a pig. Na you dey write your exams abi you dey pay person to do am? Your level of comprehension is abysmally low. |
