When i say google doesn't know Naija means, i didn't mean that when you search Naija you won't get results but as a coutnry, google only recognized Nigeria as far as i know. Btw, how many people go to google to use the term Naija?

I served in Mmahu community in Imo state which is a 10 minutes drive from Rivers state and the kind of stories we here about places like Omoku, Okwuzi and the rest leaves a lot to be desired. People get killed in those places like every other day and i wonder how people actually get to live there.

If you're looking to optimize your site then "Nigeria" is more appropriate because that's what Google understands. As far as i now, google doesn't know what Naija is and most people who use the search engine, use Nigeria to search for country specific stuff as opposed to Naija.

No northerner has been able to rule for 8 years straight for us to find out whether they will willingly hand over to a southerner or not as the southerners that have gotten there have done so based purely or luck or goodwill. On the other hand, someone like Yaradua came from quasi obscurity to become Nigeria's president. Can a southerner achieve that feat?

@OP, you need to be told, in case you don't know, that you don't use Bawo ni! just for anybody and at any place or time. For instance, in Yoruba land, you can't greet your seniors saying Bawo ni!, it is wrong. You actually use Bawo ni! for a much younger person than you or to your pal. I think that is clear. Just like telling your dad's elder brother that how far!, you know that's wrong, at least in the Yoruba context.

What you just said is common in every language. In Nigeria, you don't tell an elderly person how are you.

Yeah definitely this seems like a better option but considering the fact that visa application might be unsucessful for some (God forbid), and also as some of these countries can have one deported as we hear simply because one is a Nigerian, finding one's way to a neighbouring country seems like a viable option atm, at least from there one can hustle and easily(hopefully) find his way out thereafter.

The reason people get rejected is that they don't follow due diligence. They think they can just cheat their way without realising that those guys are smart and would spot a fraud in a heartbeat.

It's not a bad idea to start from our neigbouring countries but you first have to look at what they're lacking in those countries that you can provide. For instance i know guys that have made it big moving clothing from Aba into Liberia and Sierra leone. I also know a guy that has cashed out by opening a bar in Liberia.

What role does the governor of a state play in safeguarding those in it's domain when security is controlled by the federal government. It may also interest you to know that Rivers has always been the death capital of southern Nigeria and it did not start with Nyesome Wike. Over there they kill people every other day.

Rwanda now has English as it's official language together with French, so most people whould converse ok in English.
