deene: Yeah. I rememba then... he was tagged "the next uchennns emedolu" ...I wish we still had Uchenna Emedolu and Olusoji Fasugba because i'm positive that they would have posed some challenge. The men we have now are falling hand seriously. |
daveP: what anooyes me about metu is he isnt even as muscular as fasugba.he supposed to have more wind-support as a result.yet he jst lazily runsWhen he started, i thought he had prospects cos he breezed past his competitors at the heats om the olympic games. I don't know what happened to him. |
suxes2005: Afam, where have you been?I've been around. Mauritius is not your typical African country. It is developed to some level. But it is not a country full of industries. It's just a small Island with Tourism, IT and Agriculture(Sugar car) as it's source of income. You can get a job that will sustain you. But not big enough to pay for one's school fees. Like i said, the major limiting factor towards getting a job if knowing how to speak french. Most jobs require fluency in French and English. |
CFCfan: She may have been influenced by a predominantly African-American neighborhoodHer makeup is tooe xtreme for an average African American. I think there's something about her. I also never knew she was half venezuelan. |
adaobi123: Random question. I was looking through regina george's instagram yesterday and I wanted to know, is she bisexual or a lesbian ?She does look like a transvestite. She could be gay or bisexual too. She's crazy sha. I never saw the craziness all these years that she was running for Nigeria. |
homesteady: Mozavous Edwards came 7th! too badIS HE THE MEZEVOUS MASTER? ![]() |
CFCfan: If u reside in a Commonwealth member nation, you won't get any YouTube videos on the eventDo you mean live videos, cos i tried watching the event live on youtube but i was told that it's not available in my country(Mauritius). |
Any videos yet? |
Missmossy: I believe any relationship whatsoever should be for matured minds. You really don't need all of these to prove a point to the lady in question. So, it's you sef. Pls, give him a chance. he has proven himself to you. Give him a second chance. |
Pls, which one is Hijab and which one is Buqua? As much as everyone have the right to wear whatever they like and i don't think any of them should be banned, for security precautions, people should not be allowed to cover their face in any guise. |
I watched Gloria Asumnu's race. She came second in her heat but i don't think she can reach the final judging by her time. Even if she gets there, she won't make an impact. I wish her the best though. In the men's sprint, Nigeria's representatives qualified from their heat but what struck me was the name of these guys did not sound Nigerian in anyway. Are they actually Nigerians? |
Which time are you using? Nigerian or British? I actually see Okagbare winning the finals. her time was the fastest in all the heats. |
I almost thought Mauritius didn't make the cut. Mauritius is the most peaceful country in the whole of Africa. You can even go to their ghetto and walk in the night and nothing will happen. It's that peaceful. |
ukraine55: This is not about been lazy or lucky, it is about reality, before you start packing that your bag and baggage about to depart from Nigeria for Mauritius, please think twice, i guess your friends are not telling you the truth about Mauritius, i have been here close to two years and i can tell you what it is like here. If you have your money to spend, you are highly welcome.I endorse this post. This guy obviously knows a lot about Mauritius. it's a beautiful island country where you can come and relax, spend money and go to school. But don't expect to get a big paying job. The jobs you will get will just be enough for you to feed yourself and probably house yourself but not enough for you to pay for your school fees. Besides, most jobs will require you to be fluent in English and French(Bonsoir). The people who are lucky here are the programmers. Most other international students here work as casual workers in 5 star hotels where they stand from morning to night ![]() If you must come to Mauritius, make sure the money throughout your stay is complete. The good things here is that it a relatively developed country. it is clean, peaceful and the ladies are beautiful just like the beaches of Grand Bay, Flic en flaque etc. |
These british people are unbelievable. I was watching the heat that Blessing Okagbare was running in and guess what the commentator said? England's Asha Phillips wants to make an impact in her first commonwealth games. Nigeria's Blessing Okagbare is also one to watch. No, she's not also one to watch. She is the one to watch. WTF is Asha Phillips when talking about women's sprints. Okagbare is one of the best in the world right now and she's a contender for the crown. I also watched Gloria Asumnu's race. She came second in her heat but i don't think she can reach the final judging by her time. Even if she gets there, she won't make an impact. I wish her the best though. In the men's sprint, Nigeria's representatives qualified from their heat but what struck me was the name of these guys did not sound Nigerian in anyway. Are they actually Nigerians? |
chinolization: Taking governance to another level..For once i agree with you. Based on the steps and actions that Obiano has been taking, it's obvious he has a mission to make Anambra better. |
Pls, can someone post videos of races involving Nigeria especially Okagbare. |
londoner: I don't see what is beautiful about most of those the OP included though. In my opinion Doris and Mercy are the only pretty ones. The OP should have included Damilola. She's not a Yoruba actress. The list is for Actresses who feature in Yoruba movies whether or not they are Yoruba. I also think Moyo Lawal should not be there cos i've not sighted her in a single Yoruba movie. @topic There's nothing secy about those people listed exept for a few. They just have massive mammary glands. I don't know if that's a criterion for making it into the Yoruba movie industry. Another problem is too much bleaching. I used to like beautiful sikiratu sindodo until she started bleaching. Now she looks like a funky masquerade. |
I've always wanted to know how they cook Nigerian party rice. I actually cooked something very similar recently and i don't know if it's because i used only tin tomato as opposed to fresh tomato. |
glitest: I get the fact that there might have been little to no changes interms of featuring black's on the cover of high fashion magazines, nor the little to inprovement of black folks on the big screen, but when it comes to the fashion industry at large?.........there have been a significant amount of change for black folks.Nicely put...I wonder why people, especially black people always bring the issue of race in everything. Blacks have come a long way and things are better than they were years and decades ago. Today, we see black people playing the lead in areas where white people dominated. Blacks may not be exactly where they are supposed to be but there's no denying the fact that there have been some improvements. People should also not forget that the African American population in the US is just about 13%, so white people will always be the majority in almost every endeavour. So, that should not be seen as racism. |
Nice body. Atleast someone to watch in the BBA VIP section ![]() |
You forgot to mention the wife of Orlando Julius. Dan Foster is also an African American. But like someone said, they seem to be more in Ghana than Nigeria. |
1) Friends 2) How i met your mother 3) Two and a half men |
Can someone pls explain the "sprayed concrete part". I don't understand what it means. |
Where are you guys watching it? |
Is it being shown online? |
adaobi123: Has anyone watched suits, hannibal or the blacklist ? I don't which one to watch first.I have watched suits and it's interesting. But i can't compare it to any of the two cos i haven't watched them. But do you like movies about law and the business world? That's what suits is all about. |
I saw this on Linda Ikeji and i'm like, what is wrong with some women sef? Why do they just like concocting unnecessary troubles for themselves especially in relationships and marriage and later they'll start crying fowl. So, her maiden name is now soo precious to her that she can afford to lose her marriage because of it. Why did she marry at all. She should have stayed in her father's house and keep bearing his name since it's soo important to her. That husband should divorce asap if she doesn't bulge. Nonsense woman. |
MrRhymes101: found it finallyyeah. it's too heavy for youtube. |
This is some funny ish I can't wait for Nkoli nwa nsukka to be outhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3X9f8Ige8ds The Nsukka dialect also seems pretty the same with the Nkanu dialect to me. |
passion007: I just discovered this thread, and then watched Nwa Abakaliki on YouTube.Different Igbo dialects were actually spoken in that movie. The dialect that Angela Okorie spoke was different from the one her uncle spoke. What her uncle spoke was pure Nkanu dialect. |
emiye: mtsceewBia, what are you hissing for? |
