How about guys asking girls to say YES under durress Boy: Oya, say YEs or i slit your throat Girl: YES YES YES There will always be loopholes, so, it's best they just leave things the way they are. Too many laws does not necessarily mean that crime will reduce. It just means that more innocent people will go to jail. |
lepasharon: Who has seen American Horror Story? I was told it takes a different angle to horror, but sofar it's being a typical horror.People just see things differently. |
100Cents: If you wait for Nigerian girls to say yes, nah till eternity.Such a law will mean that Nigerian guys will not have kpuri for the rest of their lives because Nigerian girls find it very difficult to tell you they want to go down. You have to be the one to initiate it. |
One more reason not to move to California. Very soon we will start putting down our signatures in order to have sex. Whatever happened to allowing nature to take it's full course. There are better ways to to protect that sex victims than this silly law imo. Btw, how will they even ascertain that both parties said yes. is it supposed to be recorded or what? Boy: Let's have sex Girl: That's a great idea. But do you have a recorder? Boy: No Girl: Then we may have to post pone the sex Boy: Your father |
I think Tinubu's reply is commonsensical. How can anyone habour such thoughts. If Ribadu was actually sold out, how did it influence the voters at the polling booth? My assertion on the issue of Ribadu is that APC did not give his candidacy enough support. It seemed as though they were not ready to win the election at that time or they knew they were not going to win. What surprised me the most actually was the choice of Ribadu more than anything else. |
sarutobie: @5minmadness, you and Aisha so far are the only objective and logical posters here..everything is not in black and white, I have had experiences and judged one party guilty only to get the other side of the story and was shell shocked! Isnt it ironic that your post have been devoid of rude and insultive comments but other posters have replied you with less decorum? One can never be a good judge of any situation (not to talk of marital issues) with sentiments and stereotyped reasoning. I find it unbelievable for a man to send away his wife of four kids because of water, it just doesn't stick.whatever it is (apart from infidelity) the man has to sheath his anger/pride and resolve his issues with his wife, his kids are watching and learning.I kinda share your sentiments. It's not like there are no men like the one who sent his wife parking because of water, that's if that's exactly the only story. We may never know the truth. The story may be true but it may not be the entire story. |
Does anyone know any tv series in the mold of "Game of Thrones" or "TWD"? |
RayMcBlue: Yeah, something like that. A mood or general feel of a TV show plagued by tragedy, unhappiness, or unpleasantness.Ohh ok. When i saw "Breaking Bad" and "Dark" in the same sentence, i really wanted to know what you guys meant. Now, i understand. |
mainman7: Yeah, going by history, the truth is that Yorubas have always been known to be pace-setters, deepthinkers and innovators. We've always been ever first to think of new ideas and innovate great things. Look back history; 1st Storey building, 1st TV station in West Africa by Awolowo, 1st University, 1st Skyscapper (the Cocoa House), 1st woman to own and drive a car, etc.. etc... The list is endless. Even now, 1st black African to become a Mayor in USA, 1st Nigerian richest woman in Africa, I can go on all day.... Yoruba, ever 1st never last. To all current Yoruba Youths pls leave no stone unturned to be the 1st and the very best in what you set your heart to achieve. GOD Bless all Yorubas world wide, AMEN!!!!Pls, can you help with the name of the person. I really want to know. Thanks. |
ZUBY77: Shameless Africans. Always celebrating useless projects.Isn't Nigeria as a whole a British village? We speak their language and try to sound like them, so there's nothing for them to sell to us culture wise. We're owned already. |
What do you guys mean by dark? Horrifying? |
His only qualification is that he is Balewa's Son? Like WTF? |
Ngwakwe: We don't need any more imported politicians to a locality that is alien to them.Fortunately or Unfortunately, the best brains live outside the South East. We're limiting ourselves if we insist on local politicians. |
adaobi123: lol I use netflix or streamIsn't netflix paid? |
Where did she see the ogbanje husband in the first place. I think women are to blame for putting themselves in such a precarious situation. It's not like she didn't see a trait of wickedness in the man before she got married but she wanted to get married all the same because all her friends were getting married. As if marriage is a solution to every problem. |
adaobi123: yes I have and its probably one of the best show EVER made. Trust you will love it !!!Thanks for the vote of confidence. I asked because i know there are some shows that may not seem interesting but end up being one of the best. it happened when i started watching GOT. Btw, where do you downnload your tv series from? The ones i downloaded are not very clear. |
Please, has anyone watched "Breaking Bad"? is it interesting? I'm currently almost through with episode 1 and i'm yet to find it interesting. Should i continue? |
The term "Refurbished" is usually written somewhere on the laaptop. They usually don't hide the fact that it's refurbished. There's a reason why Refurbished laptops are cheaper than the non-refurbushed ones. |
spyder880: 1. Igwe Edward NnajiPls, what's ken Nnamani doing on that list. He has made no impact on Amaechi, Awkunanaw, talk more of Enugu. Igwe Edward Nnaji who donated fire and water has done more for Enugu than him. Ekweremadu should also not be on such a list. It's an insult on the others on the list. |
GoodGirl2: I really don't think it matters whether she became famous in 2013 or 1997, point is, she is famous NOW.But not that famous for her to be one of the most famous Africans. |
WTF is Lesotho not part of South Africa despite being inside South Africa and having the same or similar culture as South Africa. |
is that Enugu-Porthacourt espressway? |
Gbawes: Dead on arrival, they should stop wasting time abeg.I'm surprised to see you writing this. Have you lost fate in your dearest APC? |
3rd is not good enough. She has gotten to that stage where she needs to either clinch the first position or lose it by whiskers to someone else. It's not like she hasn't beaten all those girls before and she's better now than ever. |
GoodGirl2: You don't have to like Lupita, but she is FAMOUS whether people like it or not. It's not everyday people grace Hollywood magazines, one after another. We can't deny that Hollywood has made her famous. The only difference between Lupita and the other famous people is that she became famous overnight while others took 15-20 years to be who they are today. Fame just fell on her doorstep while the rest had to go through hell to acquire it. Oh well, what can we say? Some call it Mother Luck, others call it Lucky Star, Christians call it God's Favour. If you think she ain't famous, think again.Someone who just became famous at her own level just last year is now one of the most famous Africans? You got to be kidding me. And btw, i love Lupita but she shouldn't be on that list. |
What are Jackie Appiah and Lupita doing there? Where's PSquare? |
Gflat: I have always wondered why girls are scared of handsome guys. I have met a number of girls who turn me down just because they are threatened by my looks, serious.Maybe your pocket is not handsome enough. Go make some money and they will flock around you and compete against themselves before someone receives the anointing of acid to their face. |
Ikengawo: Onitsha has existed before 'Anambra'. The same way that there's Yorubas in Benin Republic, there can be parts of Onitsha elsewhere. Not saying I agree or disagree but 'Anambra' and an artificial creation where as Onitsha isn't.These two cities have always being in different states or regions. It used to be Eastern region then East Central and Onitsha and Asaba have never been in the same administrative block despite the proximity. Apart from that, Asaba is still a city on it's own and has never been an appendage of Onitsha. |
inositol88: is it de guy who;A gentleman wouldn't give anyone a mind blowing sex. he would be a freak if he did that. A gentleman is someone who people think can't hurt a fly. |
CFCfan: Ed Balls! What a nameHe must have been made fun of when he was a student. Ed Balls bring your balls over here ![]() |
naijaking1: UK residents would certainly know better, but I think this article doesn't do Umunna any favors at all. They identified his Father as a Nigerian not him. The same with Obama. Britons are not fools to think that he has no roots especially considering his name. |
50calibre: Yeah people keep saying this, hailing him as the British Obama but they're forgetting something important. Are you implying that blacks are majority in the US? Guy, what will happen will happen. I've learned not to doubt possibilities like this. I remember how people swore with their lives that Obama, a black man could never become the president of America but swallowed their words when it happened. Impossibility is nothing. |
