clefstone: Black president u said? I stopped seeing Obama as a true black wen i found out he was raised by a white mom/grandmom. Dude's blackness is only in the color of his skin, he has a white mentality. Its like expecting a man with an Igbo father, born in Sokoto and raised by his Hausa maternal family to hv an Igbo mentalityOhh, so, he's no longer black. lol ![]() |
zeelo2014: I miss my favorite character Monroe, Daryl's brother. He reminds me of T-bag in prison break.I really felt pity for that guy when he turned. At the later end he wanted to make things right. |
Fear is gradually setting in from the usual suspects. |
I watched this guy at Platform 11.0 and he's an unrepentant One Nigerian advocate and he has humour too. |
adaobi123: Lol. You've watched game of thrones right ?Yes, i have. |
No surprises there. Let's not kill the dynamics. |
adaobi123: He looks so tall and handsomeAda, what does your signature mean? is the dwarf a female? |
manny4life: Btw, this is for those who went to emergency room and they deemed their case wasn't urgent...Now go figure.Nwanna, are you in virginia? Where exactly? Richmond or Virginia beach? |
On a second thought, i hope we're in the same group with England. I've been waiting for the they we'll meet that team and beat the crase comot for their body. We missed that chance in Kore/Japan. |
CFCfan: It's highly unlikely they would be seeded, as they aren't among the top 10 currently.I hope so. They should be put in the same group with Spain and Brazil. Useless team. |
I just hope England is not be seeded this time. |
AdimGreat: wow!! Nwannem nwoke. I'm actually frm umuigwe in ishide. Nice meeting u hereIt's nice meeting you too. |
VillageBoi: Has got to be only Americans nah! Kai, I have never met people anywhere as 'generally' stupid as them.Dumb people dey this world oo. kai. Even Nigerians are not this dumb. I think the average American have come represent dumbness in the world. Some of them don't even know anything about places outside the city or state where they live. It's that bad. |
HumbledbYGrace: Steve Biko and others went on a toyi toyi for change, imagine being taught maths, and sciences in AfrikaansIf i were you, i'll be pretty much averse to Afrikaans as much as English. They're both foreign language and none should be accepted over the other. |
speedyboi: Jesu!I know the kind of people i try it with. I measure people's intellectual prowess before i engage them in a discussion or argument. If the person is vastly read, i'll respect myself but if the person is not, i'll torture the person with facts that are not factual. Even for my family, i don lie tire. They know i'm vastly read but won't know when i'm saying the truth or lying. They just swallow everything hook, line and sinker ![]() |
speedyboi: Thank you!Except we're referring to a different song. But if it's the Khona that i know then i'll like to let you know that it's trending in Naija. Even in clubs, parties etc. |
Theben: I stay in lagos, and listen to good music. But never heard the song. You may not know the artiste but on hearing the song, it will ring a bell. |
Edenjoe7: Even if the whole world flattens, even if all the wise men and prophets or pastors tell lies, that does not change God from being God. The breath which you breathe can testify against you. Fool! Are you born again too? Na wa for the kain ogbanje born again people wey we dey see these days. |
nadia_SA: also Mafikizolos _Khona abi..Ya, that song is popular all over Africa. |
HumbledbYGrace: gbam.Like seriously? I thought Afrikaans was only spoken by white South Africans of Dutch ancestry. I never knew some blacks in SA speak Afrikaans too. |
Briareos: I know your type.How? |
Theben: Aiit, thanks. But I'm not a fan of igbo gospel. You mustn't be. I also i'm not but i listen to it when i hear it but don't go out of my way to download or get a copy. |
I always endeavor to separate the wheat(fact) from the chaff(fiction) by doing a little research on an information that i heard in a movie. But at times, i just quote it verbatim to sound intelligent especially since majority of Nigerians are not widely read and wouldn't counter my assertion ![]() |
Theben: BTW, I don't seem to have heard a song by this chinenye in bold. Can any Nigerian help out with her genre of music? She does Igbo gospel music. |
nadia_SA: hi thebenYour husband must have forced the bolded down your throat I like her songs though. |
HumbledbYGrace: The funny thing about Southern Africans is that our languages are entertwined somehow. Lately people just use their native tongues and they understand each other, the other thing that broke South Africans is Afrikaans. They were forced to speak it and learn it, its funny that some people are not able to communicate it english till this day.So, in other words, these languages apart from Afrikaans which is an offshoot os dutch are kinda mutually intelligible. Meaning that they are sort of like dialects but are seen as different languages. |
Meanwhile, Mr. Chilos Godsent,This caught my interest. |
HumbledbYGrace: Its only Sesotho in Lesotho but Sesotho, Pedi and Tswana are related, like Zulu, Xhosa and Swati.Up until some years back, i used to think all black South Africans spoke the same language. It must really be difficult for the minorities cos i noticed unlike Nigeria where English and Pidgin English is the mainstay, some mainstream programs in South Africa fuse English Zulu or Xosa. There's even a music program i used to follow on DSTV where the presenters will just switch to a local language. How do those who don't understand the language cope? |
It's simple...Buy a cutomized domain name(www.cynicreport.com) from a domain name registrar and host it with a Web hosting service then backup your files from the www.cynicreport. and move it to your customized website. It's that simple. You can inbox me for any more info. |
HumbledbYGrace: The young ones have taken the centre stage and its imitation of America right, left and centre.I've heard of Malaika but don't know any of his/her songs. But haven't heard of any other artiste from SA. |
ngwana.mobu:I see...I think this language is spoken in Lesotho cos i have a friend from there. |
