Pls, which language are you South Africans speaking on this thread. Is it Zulu, swahilli, Africans etc and why does everyone understand it? It is like Nigerian pidgin? |
souldust: how comes SA music isnt too famous in Africa any more. In those days when i was growing up, i listened to Yvonne chakachaka, brenda fasie and mariam makeba. Today, SA musicians arent too famous anymore. You're right. At a point, South African musicians were dominating the African music scene with the likes of Chaka Cha, Brenda fasie, Mariam makeba, Lucky dube etc but right now, we don't hear anything from their musicians like we used to. |
Is there no other land in Osogbo that can be converted to a school? Why must it be Fakunle? They used the guise of transferring students to different schools and even though that is annoying on it's own. What's more annoying is that no student was transferred to Fakunle which add credence to the rumours that the school wants to be demolished to make way for the building of a shoprite mall. This is pathetic. |
This one he selected Okeke as his running mate, i hope he doesn't nominate mgborie and mgbeke in his cabinet But i thought they said these Lagos government economist was gonna be his running mate. What's his name again? |
Abagworo: The tallest Igbos are from Northeastern Abia area. Ie Ohafia and Isuikwuato axis. IMHO Senegal and Mali should be higher than this so-called average. I've never met any one from both countries less than 6foot. The average height of Southern Nigeria is lower than the North.I doubt this very much. People from that axis and Ngwa people seem to be one of the shortest or average height people that i've encountered. |
^^^ Using Basketballers to judge tallness in a specific group is not ideal cos even in a community where majority are short, they could still manage to present a handfull of people over 6 feet. |
AdimGreat: like seriously, Afam u r frm Amechi?? Pls where in Amechi? I'm frm Amechi too (Amagugwu).I'm from Umezoha(Umedachi). |
nadia_SA: nope hs tall tall..but when I went for some igbo gathering its like all the men were short nd chubby like..Is your husband from Abia or Imo? From my observation, i've encountered shorter men from Abia and to a lesser extent Imo. Enugu and especially Anambra men tend to be on the tall and huge side. |
I saw his casket and it was in order and he was inside the casket and not on top of it. |
ebdib: wow how unintelligent this comment isPls can you list some of the exchanges and how far it has benefited Nigeria. Can't there be exchanges without the commonwealth? The commonwealth is just a way the British controls it's former colonies. |
nadia_SA: Most igbo men r SHORT!!!...I disagree. I see more tall or average Igbo man than i see short ones. Is your husband short? |
Evestar200: Breaking news:: Kano pillars vs Enyimba week 31 fixture to be replay on oct 8 in LokojaI thought the 3 points were awarded to Enyimba. |
This is a step in the right direction. Nigeria and every right thinking country should follow suit. There's absolutely nothing to benefit from the commonwealth. |
