This is absolute bunkum...

Did the Igbos that backed Alex Ekwueme stop Obasanjo from winning?

This is one of the lies that have been passed that from generations and it needs to be nipped in the bud asap.

You accuse Igbos of not being united but when it happens elsewhere you look the other way. So, why didn't Buhari get it since he was the consensus candidate from the North.

I forgot about alex ekwueme. But I'm accusing Igbo politicians and not Igbo people (I myself am half Igbo). I'm not saying there is one North or one South West or South South because there isn't, the point I'm making is that you generally do not have a strong Igbo candidate come out and the politicians from his region stand behind him (except for the ekwueme example u gave). The same can be said for the North, when Atiku came out, hardly any Northern politician supported him, the North have not stood solidly behind buhari and do I even mention ribadu?

Since 1999, we've had ekwueme but who else? We have strong candidates from the east, they should contest along with the northerners so that we can have good competition against GEJ. But most likely, we'll see GEJ win the PDP ticket, cause everyone will be too pussy to contest against him.

Will you keep quiet...

Why did Buhari and Atiku contest against Yaradua...So much for Northern unity.

It's not so much about northern or eastern unity as it is about having people who are willing to come out and contest. In 2011 we had ribadu, atiku, buhari, dele momodu grin, can't remember who else, oh yeah sarah what's her name, i forget. In 2007, we had buhari for the opposition and Rochas contested for the PDP ticket. He had no support from the Igbos, as everyone just lined up behind OBJ.

I don't remember any recent election where an Igbo candidate has come out to say "I am going to contest" and the major politicians from the region say they are backing him. In 2011, we had the Northern whatever forum that Ciroma was head of and the outcome was a candidate that was to be supported by their region.

Why not set up an Igbo forum that will vote on one candidates to be the candidate of the region. If they do that it will work better than just saying "it's our turn" without working towards the goal.
Politics / Re: Igbo Presidency Not Feasible In 2015 – Junaid by Afolabs101: 1:11pm On Dec 05, 2012
Unfortunately, Nigeria's political space is dominated with greedy, selfish, cowards. The Northern politicians did nothing to oppose Obasanjo when he imposed Yar'Adua on them, instead they all stood behind the "anointed" candidate. The only person with the balls to challenge him was Atiku, however this was borne out of his insatiable greed and lust for power. When GEJ became acting president and wanted to contest for 2011, again the only person who opposed him was Atiku.

The Eastern politicians supported GEJ in 2011 knowing full well that GEJ will not support them in 2015. Which sitting president will not go for second term?? The Eastern politicians made noise about them supporting GEJ in 2011 for an Igbo president in 2015, so that they don't lose face with their people. Those politicians were settled handsomely from subsidy money most likely.

Northern and Eastern politicians should just keep quiet and stop going on about 2015, because as soon as GEJ says he wants to contest all of them will be ready to tell us how GEJ must return and how their respective regions can wait til 2019.

The only realistic way to see GEJ stopped is to stop PDP as a whole. Opposition parties must all come together, otherwise there is no hope. But Tinubu and Buhari in the same party? Their egos are too big!
Car Talk / Re: Staff Ko, Staff Ni! Pay Your Money Joor! by Afolabs101: 11:25am On Dec 03, 2012
The idea of "staff" on public buses is simple:

Danfo drivers are constantly harassed by Lastma, police checkpoints (before), frsc, VIO etc in the course of their operations. To make matters worse, they usually don't have their particulars in order or will out rightly break the law (drive one way etc).

Staff are members of the Armed Forces, Police or other paramilitary organisation, who have the intimidating factor (either they're in uniform or in mufti but are hard enough to scare off any "harassers"wink.

So it is therefore an exchange between the "staff" member and the bus driver. The "staff" sits in front in his uniform and at each stop along the way, the Lastma, police etc will back off. The bus driver sees it as a trade off, he loses the fee from the "staff" but saves on not having to bribe "harassers".

I don't think people like Prisons, Customs, NSCDC, etc can claim staff though. It all depends on how well you are able to intimidate and block "harassers".

Politics / N5 Trillion Stolen Under Johnathan - Investigations by Afolabs101: 11:24am On Nov 26, 2012
Over N5tn in government funds have been stolen through fraud, embezzlement and theft since President Goodluck Jonathan assumed office on May 6, 2010, a SUNDAY PUNCH investigation has found.

Our correspondents arrived at the stolen sum after poring over the reports of the various committees set up by the President to probe some sectors of the economy, particularly oil and gas. SUNDAY PUNCH also relied on disclosures by some senior government officials.

Five trillion naira is the summation of government funds said to have been stolen, according to the Mallam Nuhu Ribadu-led Petroleum Task Force report; the Minister of Trade and Investment’s report on stolen crude; the House of Representatives fuel subsidy report and investigations into the ecological fund, SIM card registration and frequency band spectrum sale.

The Ribadu report on the oil and gas sector put daily crude oil theft at a high 250,000 barrels daily at a cost of $6.3bn (N1.2trn) a year. This puts the total amount lost through oil theft in the two years of Jonathan’s government at over $12.6bn (N2trn).

Oil theft is common in the Nigerian oil and gas sector. In June, a special naval team impounded a French ship, MT Vannessa, at Brass Loading Terminal, Bayelsa State, for allegedly stealing 500,000 barrels of crude oil per day from the country.

Our sister publication, SATURDAY PUNCH, had reported that the suspects, in their confessional statements, indicted some political office holders, many fuel marketers and some officials of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation and Department of Petroleum Resources.

In October, Minister of Trade and Investment, Dr. Olusegun Aganga, in a letter to the President, said 24 million barrels of oil worth $1.6bn (N252bn) was stolen between July and September.

According to Aganga, his signature was forged on the Export Clearance Permit that was used to export the crude oil from Nigeria.

Confirming that oil theft was depleting Nigeria’s resources, the Minister of Finance, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, in May, said the government lost a fifth of its oil revenues to theft in April.

Apart from income lost through oil theft, the Ribadu report also said ministers of Petroleum Resources between 2008 and 2011 handed out seven discretionary oil licences and that government lost $183m (N29bn) in signature bonuses via these deals.

The Ribadu panel discovered that three of the oil licences were awarded under the current petroleum minister, Mrs. Diezani Alison-Madueke, who took up her position in 2010. Alison-Madueke, however, denied knowledge of the discretionary awards.

Shortly before the Ribadu report, the House of Representatives had raised the alarm that the N2.6trn the Federal Government paid for oil subsidy in 2011 could not be properly accounted for.

The House said, “Fuel subsidy payments amounted to N261.1bn in 2006, N278.8bn in 2007 and N346.7bn in 2008, but, even after the subsidy on diesel had been removed, the ‘subsidy’ payments jumped to N2.58trn in 2011 — more than 900 per cent of the sum appropriated for the year (N245bn).”

A subsequent report by the Presidential Committee on Verification and Reconciliation of Fuel Subsidy Payments, led by Mr. Aigboje Aig-Imoukhuede, revealed that in 2011, 197 subsidy transactions worth N232bn were illegitimate.

These frauds are not limited to the oil industry, as similar probes have shown that almost all sectors are involved.

In July, the House of Representatives Committee on Environment discovered a tree seedling fraud worth N2bn awarded by the Ecological Fund office.

Chairman of the committee on environment, Mrs. Uche Ekwunife, said this during an investigative hearing on the mismanagement of ecological funds for the development of tree nurseries and seedlings in the 36 states.

According to her, out of the N3bn approved by the Presidency in 2010, N2bn was released to the contractors and consultants without government getting value.

Minister of Environment Hadiza Mailafia, however, said the contract was awarded by her predecessor.

In the telecommunications sector, the House instituted a probe into the sale of the frequency brand spectrum, which was reportedly sold for less than its value.

The 450MHz frequency, which was valued at over $50m, was allegedly sold for less than $6m (a difference of $44m or N6.9bn) by the Nigeria Communications Commission.

In the same sector, the reps, earlier this year, commenced investigations into the N6.1bn SIM card registration project embarked upon by the NCC in 2011.

The investigation followed the delay in completing the exercise and the request by NCC for additional N1bn for the project in its 2012 budget.

The lawmakers insisted that the NCC had no business embarking on the project since various service providers were already registering their subscribers.

Deputy Chairman, House Committee on Communications, Mr. Usman Bawa, had said, “The NCC has no business with SIM card registration. Apart from that, the service providers have done about 80 per cent of the registration because they started before the NCC. To me, for the regulatory body to be involved in the registration is a duplication of effort, a waste of resources and time.

“Even, the manner with which the bill for the N6.1bn was passed during the Sixth Assembly showed that there was more to it than meets the eyes. From our investigations, from which our report was compiled, our interactions with the NCC contractors for the SIM card registration and the service providers, a lot has been exposed and this was part of the reason why we removed the N1bn that was budgeted for the same SIM card registration in the last budget.”

It would be recalled that the then Minister of Information and Communication, Prof. Dora Akunyili, had, in August, 2010, agreed that the amount budgeted for SIM card registration was exorbitant.

Reacting to the massive frauds that have greeted Jonathan’s tenure, Transparency International, told one of our correspondents that Nigeria would continue to slack in development as long as it keeps paying lip service to the fight against corruption.

It said via electronic mail, “President Jonathan should insist that those accused of corruption are properly investigated and punished if found guilty, irrespective of their positions and connections. The judiciary must be seen as impartial and fair.

“To signal a break with the past, the government should set up an independent investigatory panel to review charges of corruption within government and the private sector. President Jonathan should endorse the panel and commit to ensure it has both the scope and the power to investigate and prosecute.

“This is not just a matter of justice; fighting corruption can affect the lives and livelihoods of millions of people. The current culture of corruption hurts the majority of Nigerians while the inequality gap widens.”

Also speaking to SUNDAY PUNCH, the Director, Centre for Applied Economics, Lagos Business School, Prof. Pat Utomi, said the spate of corruption in the country was unprecedented.

The political economist argued that prosecution and jail terms for corrupt individuals would not be as effective as building a societal institution that would prevent corruption.

A former Vice Chancellor, Crescent University, Prof. Sheriffdeen Tella, also warned that corruption would spell doom for the country if the trend continued.

He said, “It is unfortunate that the country will not be able to meet the Millennium Development Goals. There is a need for the masses to hold a three-day protest against corruption to force government to prosecute those indicted for corruption.”

Similarly, Executive Chairman, Coalition Against Corrupt Leaders, Mr. Debo Adeniran, said, “For Jonathan to fight corruption, he must start with his cabinet. The way Jonathan is going about his campaign against corruption is not the best way to go about it.”

A global audit and financial advisory firm, KPMG, had on Thursday stated that Nigeria accounted for the highest number of fraud cases in Africa in the first half of 2012.

The cost of fraud in the country during the period was put at $1.5bn (N225bn).

Broke which law, there are doctrines of necessity. The law can be broken when necessary. That's why you can kill a person in self defence without running afoul of the law. In other words, if you can establish before the court that you actually did the killing to defend yourself against grievous bodily harm or death. Mind you, the defence should be commensurate with the attack as you would be indicted when otherwise is the case.

Doctrine of necessity could be applied if there was a medical emergency such as pregnant woman in labour or gunshot victim in the car and NOT being late for a meeting.

As for your analogy, section 306 of the Criminal code: "It is unlawful to kill any person unless such killing is authorised or justified or excused by law", when you kill to defend yourself, you are justified/excused by law.

Spare me the platitude- 'the sane climes.' Let's just be realistic and rationative .They shouldn't have accosted the man. I mean such people should be given concessions especially when the said law affects no one directly. You can't refute factually that the man was rushing for an important meeting. Also, I don't discount as a lie the possibility that he wasn't. Those bootlicking VIOs were just being impish and contumelious. And who said that the law respects no one? That's why the court can grant bail to a person on his recognisance as a celebrity or VIP.
Additionally, you don't sue a government agency without giving them notice, otherwise the court would lack competence to adjudicate over the matter. Isn't that respect?

If certain people are to be given concessions, then the law will state such. Until the law is changed, the Honorable and everyone else must obey the law or face
the consequences.

The law affects no one directly? When you drive on the wrong side of the road, you put other road users and pedestrians in danger. What if he had an accident and killed someone? Those VIO officers were protecting the law maker from himself, driving one way is extremely dangerous.

If he wants to get to his meeting with the Finance Minister on time, then let him leave his house earlier.

Now that is the killer question? were the soldiers "court-marshaled" that i don't know for now and i wont be surprised if they werent because its simply not in our genes yet. However no evidence also suggests that they were ordered to go to both towns and level and kill indiscriminately.

That's a fair point, Obj may not have ordered them to kill and maim, but what I don't understand is how 100-300 people can be slaughtered by the army and the Commander in Chief or even the Chief of Army Staff does nothing to reprimand the soldiers.

I'm sure if any soldier was court-marshaled, it would have been reported and we all know that if your superior is aware of your bad behaviour and does not reprimand you, he is condoning it undecided

There is no provision for this project in the budget proposal submitted to the NA and the amount budgeted for capital project isn't much so its means government will have to borrow to carry out the project.
I have a feeling that Bi Courtney will secure an injunction to stop this move, one would have expected the government to allow them the remaining six months so that the contract would lapse.

@Demdem, how did the villagers know who carried out the killing of the soldiers and policemen?? Did they come out to say "we will not hand over the people who carried out this gruesome murder?"

If soldiers were killed in Ajao Estate (for example), then the President says that Fashola must fish out the killers, then tells the residents of Ajao Estate to fish out the killers, how are they supposed to do this? What if the killers came from outside, carried out the killings and then left? So it would be justified to send tanks to shell the estate and kill all the men in the estate?

Lets say some villagers knew the identities of some of the militants/terrorists. People that had killed soldiers, would you walk into the police station or army formation and report their identity. They'd kill you and say your an accomplice. I'm sure anyone who knew what had happened was shit scared and left well before the military got there, leaving those who were too poor or uninformed to leave.

For those who believe that Obasanjo and the Army's actions in Zaki Biam and the surrounding areas were justified, please read the report from Human Rights Watch:

http://www.hrw.org/reports/2002/nigeria/Nigeria0402-02.htm

Excerpts:

The Nigerian government announced the names and ranks of the dead soldiers, which were published in the media. However, many Tiv sources cast doubt on the identity of the victims and questioned whether all nineteen were really soldiers. They believe that at least some of them were probably armed Jukuns, operating alongside Nigerian army soldiers. As evidence, they pointed to the fact that, while dressed in military uniforms, the victims had been traveling in private pick-up trucks, not military vehicles, and that some of their weapons did not bear official Nigerian army registration numbers.

(We've heard allegations of military bias in Jos, where soldiers have been reported to have been standing and watching the Fulani's slaughter civilians)

The soldiers first arrived in Gbeji on October. They asked residents on which day the market was usually held, then went away. They returned on October. They gathered the residents of the town, asking as many people as possible to assemble for a meeting. They told them they had come on a peace mission and wanted to discuss ways of restoring peace in the area. The residents gathered, believing it was a genuine initiative. Once a sufficient number of people had come together, the soldiers separated the men from the women and children. They then opened fire on the unarmed men, shooting indiscriminately. After shooting them, they poured petrol over them and set them alight. Some of the victims died from the shooting, others from being burnt alive. The soldiers then went on a rampage, destroying houses and other buildings.

(Is this not the height of wickedness??)

On Monday 22 October the soldiers killed seventeen people here: fifteen men and two women. They sent some boys to fetch us to hear what they had to say. The soldiers asked us: "Who killed the soldiers?" We said we didn't know. They told us to make a line. People lined up. They made us take our shirts off and tied them over our eyes. Then the commander blew a whistle and the soldiers starting shooting. They left some of the bodies on the road. Some people were carried away alive by the soldiers as they left. They also burned houses. A woman in her twenties was burnt inside her house. Another woman in her thirties, a mother of two, was carried away alive. We don't know what happened to her

The town of Zaki-Biam, situated about forty-five kilometers from the Taraba border, was the worst hit location after Gbeji in terms of civilian casualties of the military operation; this was where the bodies of the nineteen soldiers had been found. Between twenty and thirty people, and possibly more, were killed in Zaki-Biam. The operation began on October 23 and continued on October 24. On the morning of October 23, soldiers surrounded the yam market, which is one of Nigeria's largest. When people began to panic, the soldiers started shooting. Most of the victims were shot dead in and around the yam market. Those killed included several market traders, including victims named to Human Rights Watch as Awua Gesa and Peter Swande, and farmers, including Aondohemba Amoh and Abaver Kumaga. The soldiers also engaged in widespread destruction of homes, shops, and other buildings, including parts of the market and even the police station. Shops belonging to Igbo traders-who have played no part at all in the conflict in the area-were also burnt and looted indiscriminately. At least two Igbo traders, including Joseph Uche, were among those killed.

(So the Igbo traders were killed because they had been harbouring the terrorists? or maybe they were the sponsors of the terrorists?)

Among the victims in Zaki-Biam were about ten people who were traveling in a bus near the yam market. The soldiers ordered the vehicle to stop and told the passengers to get out. Witnesses reported that the soldiers initially said they were stopping the vehicle for a routine check. Then they asked whether there were any non-Tivs among the passengers. The passengers said no. The soldiers separated the female passengers from the men, ordered the men to lie down, then started shooting at them. Among the victims was Ityokar Anbu Wende, a forty-year-old father of eight and a former councilor, who was accompanying his thirteen-year-old daughter back from school. The soldiers spared the daughter, but killed her father in front of her. He was the first passenger they shot because he was questioning their actions and asked why they were being asked to lie down. He was killed with at least ten bullets in the head and shoulder. The victims also included a Protestant pastor, Reverend Andrew Alu, who pleaded with the soldiers to let him pray. The soldiers said they would spare him because he was a priest, but shot him dead anyway. The driver of the vehicle, Moove Ityom, was also killed.

In Sankera, on October 23, two young men were killed on the main road: Merve Beramo, aged twenty, who was returning from the farm and was shot at the primary school, and Luther Jima, aged twenty-three. A four-year-old boy, Tersen Tordue, who had been traveling with Luther Jima on a motorcycle, was injured. Soldiers also engaged in extensive destruction, including in the parish compound, where they spent about half an hour. From there, they moved to the newly-constructed local government building, where they burned the whole of the inside of the building and looted office equipment and vehicles, as well as a large sum of money belonging to the local government; they also burned the house of the local government chairman, the local government guesthouse, and more than fifty other houses. In addition, they burned a large stockpile of food in a warehouse, which had been intended to assist the large population of internally displaced people fleeing conflict in Taraba State.

(Why would they do this??)

Above is the link for the aljazeera video about extra judicial killings against boko haram from 2009. This was one of the major catalysts that fired up the group into action.

I don't know why our people have become so barbaric and are so short sited. People are doubting whether the army who have license to kill committed extra judicial killings in the North. Hello!! Do we not hear of military and police killings on an almost daily basis?? Even the spokesman statement that it is not possible for the army to carry out such, so I guess there's no point in even investigating.

If two brothers in Maiduguri are completely law abiding and against boko haram and their atrocities, and one of these brothers is slaughtered in cold blood by JTF, will this not be enough encouragement for the surviving brother to now join BH.

The army, police and SSS do not seem to be making much headway with this war on terror due to lack of political will behind them (remember top govt officials are involved and complicit in this BH mess), lack of equipment/arms, lack of training etc. But I guess it suits those in power, as the longer this conflict goes on for, the longer we'll have N1 trillion budgets for Defence, meaning more to chop!

In order to import any "deregulated product, you must have a license from DPR. To import PMS that is regulated, you must have an import license from DPR and an allocation from PPPRA. DPR, PPPRA and NNPC are all controlled by the Minister of Petroleum. So she "overseas who is able to import or not".

Deregulation means the scrapping of PPPRA allocations for import of PMS, however an import license will still have to be obtained from DPR.

Are you really against this system that give oil block to individuals or against the one Mr President restored to Etete? Remember GEJ did not give this oil block to Etete, he only restored it. Somebody actually gave it to him in the first place. Why are you not attacking that person also?

Who are these Northerners? Name them and bring attention to them. I'm not attacking anyone, but it's a dirty system, Abacha, Danjuma, Obasanjo, Etete and Jonathan are all involved. You should stop making it a tribal issue, like I'm trying to attack Niger Deltans and protect Northerners. They are all as corrupt as each other, Ijaw, Hausa, Yoruba and Ibo politicians. This monumental fraud and corruption transcends tribe or ethnicity, so stop trying to make it a tribal issue.

taharqa:

By the way, you are very wrong by saying that GEJ 'allocated Malabu il field...'cos he did not; the northern Military rulers did, he only restore it under understandably anger by the Niger Deltans to what they considered the 'sharing' of 'their' oil by Northerners, esp after the uproar that spread through the Niger Delta when Gen Danjuma sold his stakes in his field for $500million and said he didnt know what to do with it. It is possible that the initial allocation of the oil field was less than transparent, but to be making noise abut just Malabu without talking about the fields by Northerners who control more than 90% of the oil fields in someone's backyard is annoying and is politics. If Malabu is on the table (and I have n problem with that), so MUST all the oil fields given at same time time and through same process to these powerful Northerners.

The difference between Danjuma's case and Etete's is that Danjuma didn't award himself an oil block, he wasn't even in Government when Abacha "dashed" him. Etete illegally awarded an oil block to a company he secretly controlled. Now I'm not saying Danjuma's case is right or fair as I believe a transparent bidding process is what should happen.

If FG wanted to appease Niger Deltans after Danjuma's silly claim, they should have awarded blocks to upright Niger Deltans who had invested in the industry and made a name for themselves like Lulu-Briggs, Tonye Princewill etc, and not a shady ex petroleum minister who was convicted for money laundering in France.

I'll make noise about what is revealed to me, today I know about Malabu's shady deal with the FG. @taharga, let us know what Northerners constitute this 90%, that's a start undecided

Please let us not forget what lead to the setting up of the Ribadu Committee. In January we had one of the most serious protests/strikes we have seen in a long while. It was in the wake of this that the FG set up the committee, as a way of appeasing the people. We felt that with this committee and the House of Reps and Senate Committees, we would see some justice. SO please stop saying "why would GEJ set up a committee only to discredit it". At the time he set it up, it was a way of appeasing a very tense Nation.

The Oil industry is controlled by Government, i.e. the President and the Petroleum Minister, however in past governments, the Petroleum Minister never had so much power. Now that the committee has come out to report the fraud in the industry, who should be blamed? Goodluck Jonathan, Diezani Allison-Madueke, the late Musa Yar'Adua, Rilwan Lukman, Olusegun Obasanjo, Abdulsalam Abubakar, the late Sani Abacha, Ibrahim Babangida. If the report says the fraud committed happened under the watch of these people, they have a case to answer. Do you think GEJ will resign and submit himself and the others for investigation and possible prosecution?

This is not a tribal matter and it does not matter that GEJ and DAM are from the Niger Delta. This fraud has transcended tribe, Ijaw, Urhobo (excuse my spelling), Yoruba, Ibo, Hausa, whatever tribe they are, they go there and steal.

I really do not believe any committee would have been set up if there were no protest/strikes in January. Had anyone talked about subsidy fraud or need for committees before the protests/strikes??

Viclov: ayinisong ur a veri big liar, Akpabio is not d worst Governor Akwa Ibom state has ever seen, u can't just start vomiting rubbish about AKPABIO, he has tried to an extent compared to other current Governors nd the past Governor of AKS, Victor Attah, nd u can't expect him to suit ur taste 100%... As for the examples u've hilighted i.e british prime minister, king of Norway, using commercial planes, u forgot that the condition of our planes used in Nigeria commercially z nt the same with that of the europeans, so u can't expect the Governors we have in Nigeria to use same, or u pretend to forget the crash that took the Governor of kwara state to Germany, If there is the money, any Governor, president, individual can buy for sake of seafty but it should not be as a private matter, bt it should be for the Governor of the state, even if he steps down, the next governor would inherit it.... nd the Nigerian avaition sector should try to sanitize the aviation sector

I really feel bad when I read things like this. This is the reason things will not get better: "Governor should fly private jet because Nigerian planes are unsafe", so the rest of us should put our lives in danger while the 1% fly in safety? "The Colonel on the BRT lane should be left alone because he's a senior military man".

Maybe we should just allow our leaders to loot and abuse us because they are Government officials? Or should we strive for equality?

Business / Re: Ifeanyi Ubah Is A Fraudster – Cosmas Maduka by Afolabs101: 11:00am On Nov 06, 2012
$164 million = 167,347 Metric Tonnes = 176 million litres. Profit on the transaction should be approximately N23 per litre, which is N4 billion.

This is why Cosmas was enticed, all that profit! But Uba is a real crook who shafted Cosmas by diverting the product and selling it elsewhere. he basically stole about N30 billion (the principal of N164m plus the profit of N4bn). But why why why Cosmas?? I have so much respect for you as someone who started out with nothing and built an impressive empire, why would you go into business with someone you know is a crook? Is it that you were both going to defraud Government by not importing anything? Maybe that's why Uba had the balls to screw you over, didn't think you'd have mouth to talk?

For Uba, the only reason he's in SFU's net is because he's been funding APGA and the rule is you can chop, just don't use the loot to fund the opposition. Happened in Russia too, remember Mikael Kordokovsky and Putin?

Please do not believe this guy, he is obviously an attention seeker looking for his 15 mins of fame.

The price of petrol is dependent on the price of crude oil, crude oil is over $100 per barrel and Premium Motor Spirit is selling at over $900 per metric tonne. The landed cost of PMS is N130 per litre. So how is he landing his PMS at N75, almost half the price Are South Korean refineries going to sell PMS to this guy below the international market price At almost half the cost of international market price

If I told you I was selling brand new iPhone 5 for N50,000, would you all hail me and say "good job" or would you tell me to get out of here and stop chatting rubbish?

How much is petrol in Ghana? Is it N75 per litre or anything close? How much is it in Benin Republic??
