I don't know if I'm the only one feeling some type of way.
Been so emotionally down the past few days. I expected I'd have birthed my LO by now. God's time is the best, I know. But the waddling and heaviness is crazy. Edema is dealing seriously with me. My feet is practically an elephant's own, right now. Everyone has been calling to ask how far, including my mom and it gets to me, I feel like crying when asked.
Today is the last EDD given to me. Was given 6th, 11th, and 12th. I have just resigned to God's timing jare.
It will end in praise.

Someone said I might be having false pregnancy symptoms, is false pregnancy symptoms true bcs test strip is saying negative? But someone also said test strips does not show positive until after a missed period. Am I just being too anxious?

This isn't a first pregnancy tho, but a first time mom.. hope u understand.

It's possible for test strip to detect it few days to your period.

Don't be too anxious mama. It will stay by God's grace.

Hello Everyone

I'm new to this group. Please I need help.

I became very sick on day 21 of my last cycle (which started on 6th August, 2020). I didn't want to take any medication since I've been actively trying to conceive but the sickness was too serious and unbearable.

To manage the severe fever and body aches that followed, I had to start taking paracetamol. It helped for some days but I was still very sick so I had to give in and went to Primary Health Centre on day 27 of the cycle. I told the nurses there about my reason for delaying treatment. They took my blood sample for pregnancy test, alongside other tests. The pregnancy test result came out NEGATIVE.

Other test results indicated that I had very severe Malaria/Typhoid so I was given injections before leaving the Health Centre alongside other drugs for Malaria and Typhoid which I started taking the next day. I became fine after I completed my medications.

I have irregular cycles but it has never gone beyond 38days. When my period delayed to come even till day 41 (yesterday), so I decided to conduct Home Pregnancy Test and the result was POSITIVE. I decided to proceed to the Lab for blood test which also came out POSITIVE.

My extreme worry now is the Malaria and Typhoid injections and drugs I took from day 27. I'm I likely to have miscarriage later because of this? If the drugs can affect the pregnancy, what can I do remedy the effect and avoid possible miscarriage? Please I need help because I've been trying to conceive for 3 years now and this is my first positive result.

I was on strong antibiotics drugs, at my early stage, not knowing I was already pregnant. But to God be the glory, LO and mama is fine. We are hitting second trimester next week.
So have faith that nothing will go wrong medically and visit your doctor. God bless

My wife is 5weeks pregnant today and she noticed some light bleeding this morning. It has dropped like three times.(light bleeding like the pinch of salt). Prior to this, she had serious abdominal pain yesternight.

Let her see a doctor immediately o... I experienced something like this with my first pregnancy and I was told its implantation bleeding, it was the third day I lost the pregnancy... She should not stress herself and no lifting of heavy things until she meet with a doctor. Safe delivery to her.

Please, I will like to know about OOUTH( teaching hospital in Sagamu).

Uziza is unsafe in pregnancy... for pepper soup spice, just be sure not to buy pre-mixed ones as you don't know if they've added uziza already to it

when family planning fails, i was craving for bitter leaf soup early Monday morning last week and i kept on looking for it through out the day feeling funny, in the evening i bought pt strip for a sister of mine who was acting funny, one mind told me to try the pt strip since i was behaving funny too lo and behold i saw two double, heavy lines.

This could only be God because, i have a serious condition that i did not need to get pregnant in this time and season. was on family planning that is suppose to expire September 26 2020, but look at me 6 weeks gone. it is well

I am a FTM, and I am about 6wks. Is it normal to have mild cramps like once or twice in a day at this stage. When I told my doctor I was having cramp I told me to go for 2weeks bedrest. I am worried.

Pregnacare doesn't make babies big or small...that's a myth
You're still better off taking folic acid, the naija one that's 5mg cos pregnacare contains less than what your baby needs at this formative stage.
Also, the iron contained in pregnacare sometimes increases nausea in people with MS

Sabi mama's please help me out with this question.

I am 6 weeks, but I have been taking folic acid and duphaston due to history or miscarriage.

The issue now is my friend said its better to take pregnacare than just folic acid and when I asked a nurse, she said pregnacare will make the baby to be too big.
Asides this, can I take pregnacare along with duphaston?
