They can go pick up theirs. Ignore the original photographic ID, let them present the checklist and a copy of their passport data page.

4th SA visa in 2023..

They are currently having a system overhauling in SOUTH AFRICA as regard migration policy hence the longer delay currently,it was resolved yesterday and although there are plenty backlogs of documents to attend to,so I hope they do that soonest...

The only way to move past is to answer "No". It'll have no effect on his application. I know this because I've seen a gentleman do it with Spain and still got approved.

I'm unsure what is required of him. There are certain embassies (not France), that asks for the biometric date and number. Some (including France), ask for biometric date and visa number. In a case where the previous visa was denied, that column is left blank.

After taking your biometrics, there's usually a printout of the biometric details given to you. It contains your name, photo and biometric number.

This use to be done by VFS, not sure what's obtainable nowadays.

I didn't submit any of these. This was in April, 2023. Your other visas are definitely an advantage.

Send your children's birth certificate through webform. It'll help significantly in your application.

Hi folks,
My application was refused because the the officer didn't read their own information...I had filled in monthly salary at 350knaira monthly and they mistook this for 350k annually.

My bank statement was also purposely kept clear of noise as I ensured it was only showing the 350k paid monthly by my employer and the 100k I take out monthly for my bills( I make sure I take out the 100k in one go as well, to avoid clutter).

No other ins or out in the salary account apart from salary in monthly and 100k out monthly, I left the residual valance every month in thr same account...so how they can then say the funds are unexplained is beyond me, as it states the company name that pays the money (same company I have identified as my employer on my application o)

They clearly had no issue with mu sponsor as my sister had written ans shown prove she'll pay my flight, accommodation and feeding...I have shown home ties with my kids, husband and work so these aspects are not an issue .

I am planning to reapply, as I believe this person reviewed in haste and didn't verify the information before them, my question is in my introduction letter do I address this as the first thing or write other aspect of the introduction before getting to this?
Ps: I did write a detailed introduction in my application, showed itinerary etc.

If you believe there's an error in the decision, send a Pre-Action Protocol, giving them a seven-day timeline to respond in the first instance.

The application of study renewal has already been processed in Cpt. The person just want to visit home for Xmas and come back on the 28th Dec (within the validity of the previous visa.)what cause your friend to be stuck?

You can travel and return on the said date. To be on the safe side, carry evidence to show that you are in the process of renewing.

I got 6 months multi entry and my kids and the friend got 1 month.

The consular called me yesterday to ask me questions and be sure that my son friend will be coming back and also called him too. He told him he has been approved.

It could be the reason, it also could not be. Schengen visa refusals are generic. Only Scandinavian countries within the region give elaborate reasons for refusals.

You can reapply at anytime, correct the errors in your itinerary and also write a cover letter with compelling reasons to return to your home country.

In addition, where did you book your hotel? What kind of hotel did you book? Is the hotel popular to tourists, or you just booked a hotel anywhere because it is cheap? What is the hotel's proximity to places you need to visit? What is also the distance between one tourist attractions to the other? Try to make sure you don't visit one area twice, eg, visiting Louvre Museum on Monday, and Notre Dame on Tuesday. Both are in the same area. A visa officer officer would assume that if you know where you are going, having researched properly, you should be able to visit these places in one day.

Your application should show that you have don extensive research on the city, hence have a justified reason to visit.

Good luck

Advisable to first fly to France before proceeding to Belgium. If the visa remains valid for subsequent travel, you can fly directly to any Schengen country without first reaching France.

They do not hold your passport. You leave with your passport on the day of submission.

Send them an email, you probably didn't receive any message due to network downtime. It happens all the time.
