For clarification purpose, the doctors that are sacked were already on strike, they refused to come to work and attend to dia patients(not clients or students), medical profession unlike other profession shouldn't all b about money, it is service to humanity. My brother, who is a medical doctor will be ready to travel far or even leave pressing issues to attend to someone who is sick, it is al about passion, God has given them the know-how to save life, we are talking about life here, they should use that gifts. And maybe we are forgetting something, doctors in private hospitals mostly do other medical work/duties in private hospitals, many of the nigerian doctors especially those in government hospitals are not humans, they show non-challant attitude to human lifes at times. Like someone once said, if they are not satisfied with govt job, they should go to private hospitals, so many unemployed doctors are out there waiting for this opportunity, and remember, year in year out, medical graduates are produced, so if dis new ones decide to go d path of dia fallen brothers, they would also be shown the way out. I even heard today that they were given staff quarters, how many of us working in private firms can decide to just go on strike like that, how many of us enjoy the benefits they enjoy. I love govt work, I wanna work for the govt, it's like getting free money, so if dis doctors beleivee they are too much, then fashola , pls go on and show them nobody is irreplacable. |
Nigeria , my dear country, where the rich are getting richer and the poor getting poorer |

It;s as if most agents dont know people are broke, money in d country is not evenly distributed. Most people that take expensive houses are bankers and now that they are being retrenched on a daily basis, dia quest for expensive houses are reducing. Why dont u tell the landlord to reduce the price and also accept a year payment and I can bet it, within a week, u will se a client that will pay. Just my one cent |
@diamond, ok, then, eat little at a time, mom-to-be |
so which is ur name? Also, do u have a 2/3 bedroom flat ard yaba, somolu axis for not more than 350K with 2t/b and parking space and an option of 1 yr payment? |
@diamondlove, pele, I can feel ur pains. I have a sister who vomitted thruout her 1st pregnancy eve to the extent of vomitting blood, but am sure urs will not get to that. Ok, try something. Monitor whatever triggers the vomit. Personally, while in ma 1st tri, I noticed that drinking water while eating triggers the vomit, even immediately after eating, so most times water and food do not go togeda wit me, I also noticed that if I bend my head immediately after eating and try to lie down, I vomit. Just identify and the triggers and it will ease. Try taking a lot of crackers and sugar-free gums. It is well |
diamondlove: As at 2day, I made up my mind dat I won't tk any carbonated drink nor bitter kolaI remember my mother-in-law gave me bitter kola while I was still in d first trimester, I collected it and even thanked her, but because of the miscarriage I had before, I have been very careful in taking naything not prescribed by my brother(who is a doctor), dont mind me, dont wanna experience it again, I didnt take the bitter kola, though I didnt ask my brother, it was my husband that even advised that I shouldn't take it unless I ask my brother. Darling, just hold on a bit, once u get to second trimester, everything will b story IJN, am in my second trimester now, and I can say vividly that I can far better. U can hardly notice I av a LO in me except for my bump that is coming up. My 1st tri was terrible, I vomit almost everyday in the office, and every night. It is just for a while and it will end soon dear. @blank, I did my Scan on saturday and to God be the glory. LO was even dancing for us. Very active baby, guess he/she is going to take after my dancing skills. Pls try add more 'ori', it will go, sorry |
