I expect us to raise some funds from Maguire, McTom, Martial, Donny, Henderson, Sancho, Mengi, etc.
as much as 12 players could leave the club permanently this summer. I expect nothing less than £150m here.
however, I think Ten Hag has a good base to work with.
Shrewd moves can work if we apply intellect in the market.

DF - Kim & Timbers [£85m]
MF - Amrabat (free), Mount, Rabiot (free) [£50m]
F - Kane, Højlund, Thuram (free) [£140m]

DF - Timbers can cover for RB and CB, and can replicate what Shaw gave us last season on the right. I think he'd cost about €40m.
Kim can legit displace Varane if his injury become consistent or provide serious competition anyways. he's as good on a one on one as he is capable in sprints. good presence and physicality. the guy has a release clause by July, get him in already. I'd have Alvaro Fernandez do a year on loan in a PL side and can possibly return to take Malacia spot at a year.

Options - Dalot, AWB, Timbers, Kim, Varane, Lindelof, Martinez, Shaw, Malacia. we can agree that this equals Man City backline for quality and depth.

MF - Amrabat can be tireless like Caicedo, he's at the right age and is experienced, for free. we should be all over that.
Mount is here because it seem Ten Hag wants him. going by the penultimate season, I'd have no complaints but he's off a poor season albeit in a poor Chelsea side. for a young British player, you never know where next he's headed - could be for good, could be for the bins. I won't pay more than £47m though.
Rabiot again for free. will be an upgrade on McTominay certainly, as well as good technique and presence. tricky, but we are on a budget. a salary of nothing more than £200k or we walk. I'm surprised we didn't grab Tielemanns on a free though.

Options - Casemiro, Rabiot, Amrabat, Eriksen, Fred, Mount, Fernandes, Iqbal, Mainoo, Hannibal.

F - if Kane has any ambition bigger than some placebo scoring record, he should be putting his foot down for a move to United. this is a tailored jigsaw for Ten Hag but what do I know?
Højlund is an interesting prospect that can do decent game time and contribute straight away. at 20, he's got fierce and fearless characteristics like Garnacho.
Thuram is another young forward that can certainly hold his own upfront. for free, he takes up Martial's squad role for far lower wages and greater durability.
If we can't get Kane, I'd still have both young lads as they can fill in as wing forwards as well.
Options - (Kane), Garnacho, Greenwood, Antony, Højlund, Thuram, (Amad), Pellistri.

I don't think she need to go for NYSC before she can be appointed a Minister, maybe she got played by some government officials on the youth service ish. Forcing her to apply for exception certificate, which she claimed was issue by NYSC but turned out to be a fake cert. I will do more findings on this matter...

I don’t know much about our youth players who are yet to start training with the first team.

As a striker, the most important skill you need is finishing. After that, being in the right place at the right time. Other skills are important too but if you can’t finish your chances, you can never be a striker.

McNeil deserves to go on loan to develop himself.

The koko is that the manager- whoever he is- has to play with his whole squad in order to be successful. And it doesn’t matter if those squad contains yoots or not.

No one has won the EPL in the last 6 years by playing yoots consistently. Doesn’t mean Amad shouldn’t get a decent chance to impress especially when Antony stinks up the joint for 6 straight matches.

What’s needed is a robust squad where quality won’t drop massively when you make a sub, yoot or no yoot.


That aside, who in the youth team is ready for the first team? I think maybe McNeil can get a chance (regular bench) if he works his socks off in preseason.

Kobbie Mainoo has to play a more significant role this season than last season too.

I'm quite pessimistic tbh. We might start brightly in thr league and then start fading out by December as the hectic fixtures overwhelm our thin squad because we didn't recruit well, injuries, and also ETH couldn't trust some fringe players enough.

the new owners are nigerian and have no need to demand forex based rent figures. it should actually be clear to anyone who shops at any of the malls, because the standard is dropping all around. there are now some very very razz looking shops in shoprite festac. you already know they cannot be paying in forex.

I listened to Jimi Disu on radio This morning and he mentioned something like this about the students loans which were given to students in the late 70’s/early 80’s.

He narrated how students get loans while in school claiming to be indigent students even after collecting the school fees from their parents at home. Some students bought nice power bikes with their own student loan.

Once they are done with school , they pay someone in the ministry to help them smuggle their loan file out after which they will destroy it and there’s no evidence of them owing the government .

The good thing now is that there are computer systems , database, backup and BVN that can spool out the data of any would-be defaulter

He had a full season with us, plus how is he not seeing keepers like this guy and other ball playing keepers been mentioned here? First na Mount, now na Pickford, even if he is not the one who recommended them, can't he just tell the board he doesn't want this players?

That is because the average Nigerian is not ready, we don't look out for the majority and are too blinded by religious, tribal or party affiliations, especially when we view we are not impacted negatively.

It's the set-up for increasing school fees. It's designed for low uptake. Especially in a country that cannot track its residents

Student loan is one of the worst performing loan types in Western countries, even when they can track their residents, so FG have written it in a way that fixes their liability to a manageable amount

The honest truth is tertiary education is not for everyone. Let the decision on going to university be a business decision. You will pay that money to study a STEM course, law, medicine etc but those Masscom guys need to find their square root into the jobs market than wasting time on a non value adding course.
