Junaid loves the South West and believes in them! ....Mohammed argued that the North had far more advantage over the South, when it comes to war, stating that any set of people who attempt to disintegrate the country would be crushed in the way of Biafra.http://www.punchng.com/news/supporters-of-snc-asking-for-civil-war/ Sometimes I wonder how coordinated this guy is. |
Bloodshed! See politics! The South West will not be taken in by this your patronising attitude. .....I am sorry the picture I see is very gloomy. I don’t see any improvement on the horizon. If you are against PDP and you want to oppose PDP, you cannot use PDP’s methods, which have rotation or zoning as its most dangerous item. Now, they are clever enough in the APC not to bring out the issue of zoning or rotation. What the APC has decided to do is dress up the principles of fascism and extreme capitalism as a progressive party. Now, we have had that from the same area (South-West) throughout the history of this country. The Egbe Omo Oduduwa came from that area; the Action Group, a tribal and a fascist party, came from that area; and the UPN, a fascist and a tribal party, came from that area. So did the AD, another fascist, tribal and sectarian party......Junaid Mohammedhttp://www.theheraldng.com/apc-is-a-tribalist-and-fascist-party-dr-junaid-mohammed/ Some people sha! |

otokx: it appears you will have to eat up all these words, GEJ just said he never gave any ultimatum. Not too fast. Read what he said first! President Goodluck Jonathan has weekend, said his government did not give the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, an ultimatum to resume work or be sacked. |

mrs lecturer: Your head dey the correct place. What you wrote is the fact of the matter. People just come to social media to yap opata. Dr. Daramola is just a disgruntled unilag ASUU member. He is talking about intellectual this and that-he is such an intellectual that at his age he is not yet a professor, shameless saboteur. Besides his spoken english is terrible. Agreed, majority of the branches voted for a call off but with conditions which includes getting the presidency to sign the agreement/MoU. It is this condition that NEC sent back to the presidency. Prof. Awosika says 80% of lecturers want to go back, where did she get her statistics from? Half-baked Professor. It is unfortunate that Channels Sunrise invited a bunch of charlatans instead of the true representatives of ASUU who would have put the record straight so that issues are not twisted. The person who said Fagge was invited but didn't turn up, didn't listen properly. The problem with many of us is we listen with our mouths:the presenter said they have been trying to reach him but couldn't and hopefully he will feature on sunrise daily during the week.Madam lecturer easy. You accused Daramola of not being a Prof at his age and called the prof a half baked Prof. You must be an excellent scholar. Can we check you on google scholar? |
unmask: all you said is the same as all I said..... and like I said before they were satisfied with what the president said, is still saying that they have an agreement they can finally present to their members to deliberate onNo not the same. You asked a question: did they agree with him to which you answered no. How can they be satisfied when they didn't agree with him? |
bunburized: I have submitted my visa application online and booked an appointment for submission/interview @ d vfs center for 5th Dec. My maintenance funds will complete 28 days on Dec 3rd and i hope to print my account statement that same day or on 4th of Dec (playing safeYou saw $? It should be in GBP. If not be careful the website you are in. You can print a day before, it won't change anything as long the minimum amount of money has been there for a minimum of 28 days |
unmask: ASUU met with the president true....but did they say they agreed with all he said? No.....instead they said they would take the matter back to their members and discuss the proposal, then get back to the president, which they did......This is in stark contrast to previous meetings where a brick wall was always met at said meetingsThey said they would get the message across because they were satisfied with what they were told as the reps. That meeting was unlike the previous meetings where they held press conferences immediately after the meeting to say the government was not serious or sincere, that's assuming you have been following things. |
safarigirl: you dey mind? Just like they paid the Market Women and co to protest. So Faggae is being sponsored by APC, but these 3 couldn't be sponsored by the FG cuz government can't pay people off. The gullibility of Nigerians is beyond me, see them clapping and shouting that ASUU is divided, because of the opinion of just 2 people? You guys just hear what you want to hear, the lecturers that spoke on Raypower's Fact File on Thursday were in full support of the continuation of the strike, over 5 that called said FG can't be trusted, but una dey happy say just 3 people dey yarn dust. On Wednesday, we shall see who's the real Don, this strike has just begun. So Channelstv is the new NTA or a case of when the report does not favour you ? |
No Qualms: Fake lecturers...... I'm sure someone paid them to say the rubbish they are saying...... Are they not supposed to be intellectuals? How can they say ASUU is giving out new demands if not that they are not in their right senses. They are new demands because ASUU did not present those conditions when they met with the president. If they had, they wouldve been trashed out. It is disrespectful for a president to have given you 13 hrs of deliberation after which you told him things will be ok only to come back and tell him you have to do this or we won't oblige. This won't be acceptable to anybody especially when it is obvious that the chapters are itching for a call off. It was only UNIJOS and UNIBEN that voted for the Strike to continue. If you were the president, you won't be comfortable with this new demand. |
The referendum still stands; ASUU isn't pusyfooting nor adding more request. All they want is that the agreement be signed, not just by the FG but by both the Finance minister, cbn governor Nlc chairman; as well as immediate provision of an account with cbn with an initial fund from the FG to show it means business. What is hard in that?
Bro In one of the chapters' congress to consider the president's offer on the 11th of November, someone came up with such a condition and he was laughed upon. The Chapter president said, 'it will be ridiculous to ask those people to sign after the president has signed'. Therefore it was not part of the communique. Why ask those people to sign when the president has signed? It is like undermining the position of the president who they work for. He gave them 13 hours and his word as a president. ASUU NEC are trying to play God. You won't accept that if you were the president. Go check some of the things you did as the commander in chief of the NYSC thread and extrapolate. |
Same way they called off the strike after the 2009 signed agreement by the same GEJ? Are you guys for real?
Now tell me What they will achieve by insisting that AGN signs the document? They will go to court? Jokes! A court case can drag for years! What they are doing is like pushing the president around. You won't take that. |
Channels handpicked those lecturers that are non-sympathetic to the plight of their comrades; datz all! In every 12, their must be a judas. Let channels keep gathering the Judases to run their mouth. Awaiting the FG to do their worst!
You are making a mistake here. Even the hardliners are tired of this strike I can tell You authoritatively. ASUU started the strike with referendum from chapters. After the chat with the president, they said they would go for a referendum again. The referendum wanted the strike called off. Why are they pussyfooting? |
IZUKWU: 4 - 0 to the arsenalAmen to that. |
R2bees: Today's match is Arsenal andwow! Such a long time. |
bunburized: I did not include the affidavit in my school application. I already have an affidavit to support it and also have my original birth certificate.Leave it out. But I advise that you go get it corrected except there is something more to it. If it is WAEC problem, it can be sorted. You may get through without trouble now but in the future, who knows who might detect it. If you are dealing with the British, leave nothing to chance. |

bunburized: In my cas I was requested to submit just my bachelor's certificate. I am quite happy with doing just that but I have a rather small problem. The year of birth on my waec certificate is wrong. It was increased by 1yr e.g instead of 2012 they wrote 2013. I have an affidavit covering this but since the waec certificate wasn't mentioned in my cas is there any need to include it with the affidavit just to correct the discrepancy?Did you include it when you applied for admission? Does your school have a copy of it? Is it not possible to get it corrected? Waec can always do it for a fee. That saves you the confusion. |
bunburized: I am still battling with the online visa application and came across these questions which seem a little confusing.Hi, Your answers are correct. Be confident! |

Nice thread! Will be back. Not in the mood right now. |
Obiagelli: I hope they(the PDP) don't stop here they should equally take care of all Widows with the same gesture, starting from edo state to the national level. Do they need a governor to misbehave before they take action. God punish them if they are doing this for political gains. When you were commending those on nairaland donating or wanting to donate money, did you ask them same question? |
