disloman:Pls try and put paragraphs and format the fonts appropriately to make it better to read. Lalasticlala your attention is needed here |
Interesting read |
EverestdeBliu:He was referring to the grammatical construction of the blog. I knew from the onset, and I also knew a lot of people will bash him thinking he was referring to the project. That is nairaland for u. People just bash anyhow without properly understanding the point of view of the poster. |
denko:Keep quiet jor! If PMB ignores this same Amaechi, its your likes that will go about screaming that PMB respects no one, even those that worked for him and that he uses and dump people. That he is just after a Northern Agenda. Leave Amaechi alone. Let Wike send the report of his probe panel to a competent court of law to try him or let him send it to the EFCC/ICPC/CCB to pursue the case instead of making noise on the pages of newspaper. |
My President! Wailers will not like this pix. The mofos first lied that PMB was not healthy, but till now, the man has been showing them that he's a thorough old soldier. Either they like it or not, PMB will succeed! And they will be eternally shamed. |
chuna1985:No need arguing with u. When u move around Lag interacting wt people, taking in the sights, sound and the different streets and places, nobody need tell u the owners of the land. |
juicee1:Wow, this is so on point. |
chino11:Expatriates indeed. You guys are so petty. Your self glorification knows no bounds. We are used to it already sha. I have already stated it and it's widely understood, that "empty barrels makes the most noise". agabusta: chino11: |
chino11:I also won't want to focus the petty argument on migration. But you are very very wrong. I'm very conversant with different parts of the SW, and I can boldly and emphatically tell u that Igbo business men and their families are well distributed all over the SW. Although they are more concentrated in Lag and Ibadan. Even in the remote towns, u'll find them engaged in the businesses they are commonly associated with. General provision stores, sale of building materials, sale of electronic gadgets, sale of CDs, boutiques, etc There is actually no big deal in this, they are hardworking business people earning a living. But living in denial is what is morally wrong. |
BuddahMonk:There is this bile and anger that seems to come from you guys whenever you hear SW/Yoruba. I don't understand it at all. And must everything be a competitive comparison with the SW? I thought the topic was open for general discussion and made reference to different parts of the country, but you seem to have a fixation on the SW. Even the bible says "those that compare themselves to themselves are not wise". When u talk so proudly about the SE which is not so different from the rest of the country in terms of infrastructural devpt, what would one expect from the Europeans, Americans and the Arabs from UAE. Lol The way u guys talk typifiies the saying that "empty barrels makes the most noise". If the SE is so so developed more than other parts of the country as ur little mind is wont to believe, then how come there is no substantial migration of people from other parts of the country to the SE? The world over, people tend to migrate substantially to the more developed areas. But if going by your warped thinking, the Nigerian SE is an exception to this. Maybe u can give me a reason why people are not migrating to the wonders the SE represents but the opposite is the case. |
BankeSmalls:Excuse for what? You guys are so funny. I'm not giving excuse, just stating the obvious. I thought this thread was for intelligent discussion as to the reason for the stated. I just realised it is another ego massaging thread. |
BuddahMonk:Use your head now. So far habitable land is available just close by at a reasonable price, it doesn't make sense building an expensive storey building. Till today, you can still get land in some parts of Ibadan at very economic price. In places where land is limited and very expensive, building bungalows is a big waste. Oyo state with a little part of Osun is geographically bigger than the entire 5 eastern states. You can check the map urself. Almost all states in the North are each geographically bigger than the entire 5 SE states. Now i'm not talking about development oh, just land mass before u start unnecessary arguments. Landuse in SE because of its small size can never be same in other parts of the country except wt those of similar population in relation to geographical landmass. |
knowledgeable:This extreme hate and envy is only in your dumb skull. We don't hate and envy the Igbos. Get that into your silly head. God has blessed all sides with his blessings. God has equally blessed us with so many things and as such we have no hatred for any group in Nigeria. We have a good rapport with all Naija groups. Anyone that goes about saying we hate them is only talking from their own perspective, but just too cowardly to come out to say the obvious and instead using reverse psychology. |

obailala:Are u for real? ![]() |
Anywhere there is land constraint, they are bound to have more of storey buildings. The SE states in some of their cities, have land constraints and as such will definitely focus their building on storey buildings. It's a simple logic. The only state with such land constraint in the SW is Lagos, and as such, it boasts of more storey buildings than other SW states. Infact the whole of Lagos island is densely populated with storey buildings. The North has enough lands and can afford to build bungalows sparsely. Storey buildings may only be ideal at dense commercial areas. |
likila:Why not make use of the brain God has given you. This person u are talking about is a court of Appeal Judge, and even the presiding Justice of the Abuja division and does not need Brother for his upkeep. |
Ameachi is obviously a very matured and level-headed person. Not all men will stay cool at the way that woman behaved. I'm sure if it was Wike that was in Amaechi's shoes he'd have lashed back at the woman and walked out on her. They pushed Amaechi to the wall and he took the right step without recourse to any roforofo public verbal exchange. People are not nice at all. I don't understand why they blame Amaechi for everything. Mamma Peace frustrated the man. They try to impeach him using just 5 Hons. He scaled through and the effect was a stoppage of the proceedings of the House of Assembly. It's only Amaechi a lot of people put the blame on, not those that tried to impeach him unconstitutionally. They tried to manipulate the judiciary and foist a Chief Justice of the state on him against his choice. He resisted, and the aftermath was a shutdown of the courts in the state. They didn't see it fit to blame those that tried to foist a CJN on him, they heaped all the blame on him to frustrating proportions. They stampeded him out of the PDP and embarrassed him in the party. They put some smallies in the party above him, a serving Governor. He had no choice but to decamp to another party, and was welcomed with open arms. For decamping, they put the blame on him and cursed him to the high heavens. None was reasonable enough to realise that he was frustrated out of the party and that he had no choice, except if he wants to fade into oblivion. Rotimi keep your head high, don't mind your unreasonable haters. There is no way u can satisfy everybody. Just do ur part and leave the rest. History and mother nature will definitely justify u thereafter. |
Ugomba:Yes. The American VP is the head of the senate. |
Mboi:The average yoruba/hausa irrespective of educational status is very very conversant with political happenings. |
anibi9674:Who is not allowing Port Harcourt Port to function? GEJ? Because he is the one that has been presiding for the past 6 yrs until few months back. |
brize:Why not defy all odds and build one for yourself? This whining is getting boring. The can-do spirit of igbos is unparalleled. Stop this whining, or let's say direct this whining to your governors and leaders. Let them come together and build a seaport. This will even go a long way in shaming those ur 'imaginary enemies', don't u think so?? |
HopeAtHand:Nigeria Army had an airwing before. I think it was under IBB that it was disbanded. |
Saraki Docked. His hand don dey drop small small. That natural arrogance aura around him has diminished as of now ![]()
|
For Saraki's lawyers arguing that the CCT cannot try criminal case and that the case is not criminal. 2. POWERS OF THE TRIBUNAL TO IMPOSE PUNISHMENTThe use of "is also" from the bolded above clearly indicates that breach of the Code of Conduct is a criminal offence, and it is the CCT that is empowered to try such cases. Those SANs are not serious. They are trying to intimidate the CCT with spurious arguments. Even me that I'm not a lawyer clearly notices this from the above. |
I heard TVC has resumed live coverage. Guys pls keep the update coming for those having access to TVC at the moment. |
This is a wonderful development!! |
makzeze:Am I the only one seeing a Book with Cover name "JESUS" over there at that last pix? |
Zoharariel:Please don't make this a Christian thing. I am also a Christian, but on this issue, I decided to go the logical way. |
I thought Isreal fears and respects no one. Why are they now going to romance the Russians to mettle down their support for Syria. I thought some analysts on this forum has been bragging how Isreal can embarass both Russia and Syria together. Silly jokers. Underestimate Russia at your own peril. ![]() |
Israel PM visits Russia over army buildup in Syria Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has met with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow to express concerns about an ongoing expansion of the Russian military’s presence in Syria. Accompanied by military and intelligence chiefs, Netanyahu told the Russian leader that Israel is determined to stop the delivery of arms to Hezbollah, the Lebanese political organisation fighting along Syrian President Bashar al-Assad’s forces in Syria. Speaking on Russian television, Putin dismissed Netanyahu’s claim that Syria and Iran are attempting to open a “second front” against Israel. “We know and understand that the Syrian army and Syria in general is in such a state that it isn’t up to opening a second front — it is trying to maintain its own statehood,” the Russian president said. Russia has been a staunch backer of the Syrian government throughout the more than four-year conflict with rebel groups that has claimed more than 250,000 lives. Russian officials have claimed that providing Syria with surface-to-air missiles and combat aircraft, as well as building up a government-controlled military base near Latakia, is for the purpose of fighting the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant group. http://www.punchng.com/news/israel-pm-visits-russia-over-army-buildup-in-syria/ |
