Patchesagain:1. Igirigi with 23 mm X Double Barrel Cannon is not an IFV ? https://oi60.tinypic.com/2nl8pl1.jpg 2. So your navy does not buy for maritime security in peacetime and project Biro remains on a dust gathering piece of paper? Indian navy is now depending on Nigerian navy for help with maritime security Indian navy bypassed South Africa, they sailed Indian ocean on your coastline and sailed to far up to Atlantic ocean to sign maritime security deal with Nigerian navy because South African submarines and warships are USELESS in peace time. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=11_WTmps1WQ . |
Patchesagain:Argue like a man Patches. Argue like a man Patches, stop telling open lies and denying proved facts. Since you say Nigeria does not produce what DICON, NACE, AFIT, PROFORCE etc have been proved to produce, it is quite clear that South Africa does NOT produce all those things you listed. Your list is false. You are an importing nation, you buy weapons and equipment irrationally. SPECIAL VEHICLE PLANT (SVP) PROJECT On 22nd January 1979 the Federal Government signed an agreement with Steyr Daimler Puch AG (Defence Division) of Austria. The agreement provides for the construction of Factory Building in Bauchi complete with all utilities, roads, rails and furniture for the production of Armoured Personnel carriers (APC). The Factory was designed to assemble in 8 hours days shift the following, 300 units/yr 2 axles (4x4) Pinzgauer, 1 ton payload, 200 units/yrs 3 axles (6x) Pinzgauer; 1.5 ton payload, 140 units/yr Armoured Personnel Carriers; 45 unit/yr Command vehicles (APC); 10 units/yr Motor Carriers (ACP) and 5 units/yr Ambulances (APC). Factory buildings, Utilities, Roads, workshop equipment have all been completed and commissioned since 1982. The SVP buildings are currently being utilized by the Nigerian Army for the maintenance and rehabilitation of Armoured fighting vehicles and Armoured Personnel Carriers under a contractual arrangement. Hopefully when the contract is completed the Factory would be handed back to DICON." http://www.dicon.gov.ng/RD.html Nigeria produces in Bauchi city DICON plant, this sand and mud mobile TRACKED Armoured Fighting Vehicles, in various configurations, 12.7 mm + 7.62 mm two machine guns , 81 mm self propelled mortar carrier, Command Post, Ambulance. Just because Nigeria produces weapons like this that South Africa dos not produce, is not a reason for immature and senseless denial of truth. Argue like a man Patches, Argue like men South Africans .

Patchesagain:South Africa does NOT produce any IFV and you have no variants since you dont make them. Why would Nigeria want a submarine to fight pirates? We buy based on experience in multi-spectrum warfare and threat. There is no navy vs navy war in Africa. South Africa buys irrationally. . |
Patchesagain:South Africa still loses, you make NONE OF THOSE, so Nigeria wins. Answer a fool according to his folly....Book of proverbs. . |
iblawi:Yes, Nigerian produced the 4K 4FA tracked armoured vehicle. Very good armour with frontal protection against 20mm cannon shells. We produced about 250 units in Bauchi city, including the APC variant, 81mm mortar carrier variant, and command post variant, armoured recovery vehicle, and ambulance. Usually armed with one 12.7mm heavy machine gun and one 7.62mm light machine gun combined. It's a very capable loose sand and thick mud terrain mobile vehicle.....South African army has NOTHING in it's class. bidexiii:Thanks bros . |
Patchesagain:Nope, you do NOT make more advanced stuff, our own space satellite is an advanced hi-tech product that we make. Fact is, you make what you want, we too make what we want. Each country has its own edge. T-Craft is aluminium/fibre glass, its NOT armoured. South Africa does NOT produce armoured IPVs, Nigeria produces them, you are free to import from us if you can afford the dollars, no free gift, christmas is over dude. Your long list is duplicated on some numbers. Anyway, simple answer... Nigerian products you are asking for... a) Proforce ARA MRAP under construction b) DICON tracked 4K 4FA APC c) DICON tracked self propelled 81mm Mortar carrier d) DICON sniper rifle e) DICON 12.7mm BMG heavy machine gun f) DICON 9mm Beretta pistol g) Proforce Leopard LAV h) NACE Igirigi IFV 23mm x 2 cannon i) Proforce PF 2 APV j) Proforce HCMPAV heavy troop carrier k) DICON FN General purpose machine gun 5.56mm l) DICON FN FAL m) AFIT NAF Frawa light aircraft under development n) NAF bömb disposal robot o) NN Dockyard Andoni class MPV Now show us South African made : p) Tracked mortar carrier q) Tracked APC r) Armoured IPV sea interceptor vessel s) Spy Balloon for battlefield 24 hour non-stop daily surveillance t) Fully armoured Light Tactical Combat Vehicle u) Fully Armoured light Special forces vehicle with full body and crew cabin v) High Capacity Multi-Purpose Armoured 32 Troop Carrier w) Air to surface rocket pods x) Aircraft launched Folding Fin Stabilized Rockets y) Infantry man portable battlefield drone/UAV z) Space observation satellite That is a whole long list from letters a to z ...ALL proudly made in Nigeria Nigerians count your blessings and you will be surprised how fsr God has taken this 100% black nation despite all our enemies wishing us dead .

mzilakazi:Bwahahaaha !!! That is a police riot control drone for use in city crowd control ![]() ![]() Is that what SANDF will use to fight war? Then its NOT man portable....I see you sweating searching typing hard on your laptop using google to look desperately for a South African made infantry portable battlefield drone since 12 hours ago.....you find NONE because you produce NONE....come and import Ichoku man portable battlefield surveillance and targeting drones from Nigerian air force thaf manufactures them ! If you have money we will export to you, we already export armoured vehicles to Libya, so South Africa can buy our Ichoku drones for SANDF . |
Patchesagain:How? Its on Proforce website, so prove that they do not manufacture it. The claim is official, same as the IFV Proforce makes with a foreign partner. Okay, A-Darter missile is Brazilian because a foreign partner is involved. Also you have to stop posting Badger IFV as a South African product because all the 5 existing Badgers are made in Finland and shipped to South Africa. Equation balanced ! |
Patchesagain:Dummy, it there two different drones. The proforce REMOEYE is not a man portable infantry drone, its a normal MALE UAV. The drone in the air force and pesidents photo is ICHOKU drone built by Nigerian airforce engineers like the Gulma. The Ichoku is an infantry man portable UAV 100% made in Nigeria by our soldiers NOT a private company you dummy ! Now show us South African made infantry man portable drone for battlefield surveillance.....we bëat you again...8 points now, 8 defense equipment Nigeria produces but South Africa does NOT produce....LOL .
|
mzilakazi:Proforce website already posted today. See the photo on previous page. |
Guess who owns all these confiscated arms !!! Ah ! Pity Africa ! Our youths have tasted blood and become blood thirsty ! May God save Africa o !

Henry240:How come the navy is faster than the army in local content? Amazing, ths army gets a bigger annual budget all the time. The army just woke up now 2016 to step up beyond DICON level, with the new medium industry defense hardware manufacturing complex to be built urgently this year, likely to produce a lot of Russian weapons under license. I would love to see them produce Nigerian variants of 14.5mm, 23mm, 30mm cannon calibres, D-30 artillery and MT-LB tracked APC with 30mm cannon and 40mm AGL plus a PKT 7.65 mm machine gun to make it a cheap IFV of just $500,000 per unit, desert and mud land terrain mobile night combat capable high firepower armoured troop carrier that can travel around very well in those harsh terrain of North East Nigeria and the entire Sahel up to Sahara....force projection plus homeland defence combination. |
Henry240:Nigerian navy has confirmed for 2016 1. New incoming guided missile fast attack crafts, 2 to 4 vessels 2. Hydrographic and Survery vessel, 1 ship 3. NNS Aradu frigate refit 4. New Landing Ship Tank, 1 vessel 5. NNS Andoni II MPV, 1 vessel 6. Fast inshore patrol boats, 30 vessels Not a bad deal for one year. I think Buhari government wants to retool all 3 armed forces fairly according to the current threats and need of each force. https://i1017.photobucket.com/albums/af298/ONLY1GAR3TH/496934-NNS2BAradu.jpg |
Henry240:I have a feeling that Nigeria's next guided missile Frigate/Corvette will be built in Nigeria by our own domestic shipyards. India is trying to rival China and Pakistan in getting close to Nigerian military, the Indians have woken up and they don't want to be a world power with no big African partner in progress. They are seriously engaging Nigerian army too for cooperation, and NAF pilots are now in Indian air force bases doing stuff that is still classified. |
AU / ANISOM needs to consult seriously with Algeria and Nigeria on how to defeat El-Shabbab this 2016, a detailed strategic planning meeting between Kenya, Uganda, Ethiopia, Algeria, Nigerian military generals who have fought Islamic Terrorists for many years with modern experience and tactics. AU needs a new war strategy in Somalia 2016. Lets end this war, AU is spending money for too many years without an end in sight. The countries fighting there have sacrificed a lot of soldiers lives. Ghana, come join ANISOM please, and do something for Africa like your legendary Kwame Nkrumah wishes. |
mzilakazi:South Africa does NOT produce army infantry man portable drones, Nigeria makes them and its called ICHOKU drone for battlefield surveillance and targeting Show us your own SA made man portable drone like our Ichoku UAV that is launched by one infantry man for battlefield operations....show us your own now !!!! www.nairaland.com/attachments/3347224_2477490474jpeg4a43f0feae6e226d14dae7d7778f8066_jpege1a58a6ec993d834a9c25df24321036e |
mzilakazi:Bwahahaha.....you have lost man. REMOEYE is likely a joint project between a Korea company and Nigerian Proforce. Both companies have the right to print the company names on the drone. However, REMOEYE UAV will be produced by Proforce in Nigeria. |
mzilakazi:South Africans are cheating, A-Darter is proudly made in Brazil Bwaahahaha... ![]() .
|
mzilakazi:You cannot call conference for it because you do not have it in SANDF ! What will you show if you call conference? You have no portable drone ! Nigeria produces them aplenty, we can export to you. American/European military are now rapidly deploying spy balloons to war zones, you say it is not viable just because South Africa does not have it or produce it....LOL.... Everything you don't have is not important according to you, well everything you too have that we don't have is not important too. |
mzilakazi:Lies !!! Lies !!! Lies !!! South Africa does NOT make aircraft rocket pods, infantry portable drones, armoured IPV, etc. Nigeria produces them aplenty. LOL....South African school girls produce satellite? Why did South Africa go import satellite from Russia then ? Fool ! Did you read your source? What is the size of that school girls satellite? Your report says it was NOT launched into space, it was launched into the sky and had no rocket, LOL....it was carried by a balloon, does balloon launch satellite into space orbit ? Zulu-Bantu fool ! I think we have shocked you guys so much with Nigeria's own defence products which are exactly the ones South Africa dos NOT produce....so shocked that you guys have your brains disoriented.... ![]() . |
Thiza:1. Show us South African made AIRCRAFT ROCKET POD 2. Show us South African made FOLDING FIN AIR TO GROUND ROCKET 3.Show us South African made INFANTRY PORTABLE UAV/DRONE 4.Show us South African made SPY BALLOON 6. Show us South African made ARMOURED FAST PATROL BOAT 7. Show us South African made 32 TROOP PLATOON CARRIER ARMOURED VEHICLE 8.Show us South African made SPACE SATELLITE Each country produces what it needs or wants to produce at home, ALL countries import the rest .
|
Patchesagain:Yes, seriously. |
Patchesagain:Hey liar, we all know apartheid era SADF special forces when we see them, old retired FN-FAL rifles and NO body armour protection.....1970s vintage white man special forces. Show us current Zulu Bantu special forces IN A BATTLEFIELD FIGHTING REAL WAR like Nigerian SF, not your hoywood demo photos . |
Patchesagain:And your army is so useless it CANNOT defeat Rhino poachers and CANNOT secure your own homeland borders from invading gunmen, robbers, assasins, weapons smugglers, etc in a modern day 2016, your army CANNOT defeat the simplest threats in your own backyard.....and your army is so useless that Tanzania had to command SANDF in battle in Congo DRC. Shame !!!! |
Patchesagain:SAAF uses unguided rocket pods on your Rooivalk helicopter and Oryx helicopter....You have NOT moved beyond rocket pods....you still import them from Belgium, but Nigeria manufactures them and we will export to you if you have money to pay . |
Patchesagain:1. Nigerian navy does NOT have any made in South Africa vessel. You sold an unarmed boat to a private commercial company. 2. South Africa does NOT produce armoured sea IPV , Nigeria makes them at Proforce and other companies. We beäting you on another defence product ![]() . |
Patchesagain:Nope. Guided missiles can be jammed by counter measures or deceived by decoys and chaff. Rocket pods CANNOT be jammed, stopped, or deceived by anything....and Nigeria produces this unstoppable rocket pods. We beät yöu on this one, and its hurting every South African . |
Patchesagain:Of what? Your A-Darter missle that Brazil built for you after DENEL got stuck for 5 years unable to do it because you lack such level of missile technology? Jealous of what?/A country that CANNOT produce rocket pods for its air force? Bullshïït !!! |
mzilakazi:South Africa does NOT make rocket pods. Nigeria makes rocket pods. We bëat you on that. Case Closed !!!! . |
mzilakazi:What fully? Name the South African company that has manufacturing plant to produc Russian 23mm ZSU cannon and Russian rocket pods for Super Hind.....name it and prove it liar ! Even THIZA and Saengine have given up on the fact that South Africa does NOT make aircraft rocket pods like Nigeria produces. Stop lying and move forward, why must you try to prove you do what you do not do? Only you must do all things? Stop lying and accept facts as they are anx let this forum move to another topic. |
mzilakazi:Did it say you manufacture them? Show me where it says the Russian 23mm Shilka guns and Russian rocket pods on Super Hind are manufactured in South Africa, show me....liar !!! |
