mzilakazi: In South Africa we dance on top of the rocket pods. No wonder your men cannot fight war, you dance while other countries fight wars. In Nigeria we manufacture rocket pods, and we use them in combat, not for dancing. SA does not manufacture rocket pods for aircraft, NIG does it, and we can sell to you !!! . |

Thiza: @AUGUSTUS YOU ARE SO BANKRUPT AND SURELY ENVY KILLS YOU.....COMPARE SOUTH AFRICA WITH YOUR ARAB FRIENDS IN THE NORTH OF AFRICA.....AS THEY NEVER INVENTED ANYTHING TECHNOLOGICALLY.....
LIBYAN REBELS DO A BETTER JOB WITH ROCKET PODS THAN YOUR RAG TAG MILITIA ARMY....COMPARE WITH NIGERIA Fool, can Libyan rebels re-configure a jet fighter to use rocket pods? You think mounting imported rocket pods on Toyota is greater than computerizing a jet fighter to launch those rockets from pilots cockpit automatically? BTWN, those Libyan rebels do NOT manufacture any rocket pods, they steal jet fighter rockets imported from Russia, steal them from Ghadaffi's air force bases and put them on Toyota. NAF builds it's own rocket pods and they reconfigure a jet fighter to fire those rockets computer controlled, not the manual Toyota rocket pods of rebels. Dummy, your brain cannot even tell the difference, reason why I said NO ZULU-BANTU-CAPE COLORED can build any technology equipment in South African defence industry, your industry is 80% European made and transferred to South African branches of white owned companies .

Henry240: 1. Irrelevant argument
2. Yet the Syrian regime backed by 4 + months of Russian airstrikes have gained more territory than 2000 bombs dropped on kobani or the 20+ months of American led coalition airstrikes in Syria.
It's not even a contest, even a blind person can see who's more accurate
3. 40 years old bombs still.
4. The 40 years old ammos completed what is one of the world's fastest military operations.
5. I'm not going to repeat myself, go read up on the debate.
NAF has over 100 aircrafts operational
50% of a fleet of 500 vessels still leaves the Navy with 250 vessels. The Navy has also added 100 vessels from local and foreign suppliers
Military equipment, the Nigerian military has more amoured vehicles than the SANDF. Each soldier carriers 6 MAGs, and we have the best military hospitals in SSA.
Utility vehicles such as the Hilux and Ranger are an important part of warfare. SANDF special forces only had light skinned pick-up trucks in the CAR, your special forces in the DRC also drive around in light skins. 10/10 post....knocked down every Southy mofo . |

[s] patches689: 1. Prove your TRACON has IFF - its a civilian system
2. Yes, and Russian bombing has been very innacurate
3. Yes, they modernized them
4. Its ok that your men use 40 year old ammunition in their rifles? Ammunition that is unstable, misfires etc?
5. What contradictory claims?
The NAF has only 7 operational platforms. The NN only has 50% of its fleet operational, sailors who cannot swim, no training in full-spectrum warfare and a collection of 40-60 year old second hand ships. Your army has a hodg-podge of mismatched equipment all of which is obsolete, your men are pathetically trained, have to buy their own medicle equipment, only get issued 60 rounds of ammunition and drive around the warzone in dump-trucks and Toyota pickups.
Your military is beyond a joke. [/s] More thrash to throw away and keep forum clean . |

South African could be a Chinese, Indian, Coloured, White, Arab, etc. SA demographics is different from Nigeria and that's why is called RAINBOW NATION. We don't expect anyone to polarise our country by telling us who belongs to SA and who is not. Henry240: Senegalese Navy OPV 190
Agaugust, it is vessels like these i have in mind. 8 vessels in a 50 - 58 meters size like in the photo, multi-role and modular enough to take on different tasks when required. Nice one there. Sea voyage experts say that 42 m and 58 m vessels are all good only as MPV, so most experts now recommend 42 m as MPV, for OPV they advice above 80m for good seakeeping in turbulent high sea environment. Andoni at 38m is a good MPV size, but I think NN should standardize at 42 m for MPVs |
