Both Augusta crashes were due to mechanical failures

Rooivalk was flying low and at high speed and before nape of the earth equipment was fully operational

Meanwhile, Nigeria lost 3 aircraft in a month
If you have excuses for SAAF crashes, we too have excuses for NAF crashes. Equation balanced.

Anyway, NAF flies 100 times more than SAAF, you have ZERO jet combat sortie in 20 years !

When and where does the NAF and PAF train together?

SAAF pilots of today were trained by veterans of the Border War, skills and knowledge is passed from pilot to pilot. That is how training works.

The last war between India and Pakistan that involved air to air combat was in 1971.

So if we dont have experience, they definitly dont.

But mainly: When and where does NAF and PAF train together?
The photos and official reports have been repeatedly posted on this forum over 20 times and nobody argues with it. Why should we keep going back to recycle same old story? NAF trains air to air combat with PAF and we fire missiles on our F-7 while SAAF Gripen pilots have NEVER fired a single Gripen missile since you got the jets.

Indian air force was a 100 times more deadly opponent than Cuban teenage pilots that defeated South Africa in the air war.

PAF chief of staff vowed to transfer ALL Pakistani air combat skills and experience to Nigerian pilots, we are better in air combat now 2014 than the South African Gripen crew that has ZERO experience of firing Gripen missiles grin grin

He is a liar, and the lies he tells against NAF F-7 is because he was shocked when we made him realize that the missiles on NAF F-7 is equal in capability to the missiles on SAAF Gripen, he has not yet recovered from that shock !

NAF F-7NI air to air weapons = SAAF Gripen air to air weapons.

Also, NAF F-7 jets have been firing training missiles in combat with the well experienced Pakistani air force, while SAAF Gripens jets have NO training missiles and have NEVER fired any missiles in their almost 7 years of existence.

NAF pilots are better trained than SAAF pilots of today 2014, we have the edge now in jet vs jet combat !

That answer is Alpha light attack fighters. Chengdu F7-Ni has not seen action for some time, actually more than a year from today.
You tell lies a lot, the F-7 jets are newer and better than the Alpha jets.

NAF HQ official news has declared F-7 jets do regular combat against Boko Haram in North East, they are faster to respond at distress location than the Alpha jets, the mosty urgent calls get F-7 jet response to combat action, they fly to any battle zone in less than 7 minutes.

Their speed also makes it impossible for Boko anti-aircraft to easily shoot them down even though they may get hit by some AAA shells

In my opinion, we could have gone for additional BTR-3U's when we had the chance. The BMP-2 is still an important force multiplier for our troops though.
Chief, The BTR-3U Nigeria has now, are not able to engage Boko Haram 23mm cannon Toyotas, they will tear our BTR-3U into pieces.

BMP-2 IFV has 3km max range 30mm cannon, Nigeria will now have firepower equal to Boko Haram's 23mm and 14.5mm guns.

Balance of power will change if Nigerian army buys 200 units of cheap BMP-2 IFVs cheap second hand from Russia that has thousands in storage reserves. Price for upgraded/modernized second hand should be around $1.5 million per unit.

BTR-3U has tyres/wheels and will get stuck like Cobra in the muddy areas close to Sambisa forest, BMP-2 will use tracks to navigate the heavy muddy terrain.

Worse for Boko Haram is if Nigerian BMP-2 all come upgraded with night vision equipment and anti-tank missiles, they will change the balance of power in this war, even if NAF is not working. T-84 Oplot-M or T-90SM main battle tanks will be the expensive high tech weapons to wipe out Boko Haram from Nigeria

NAF ATR-42 cannot operate in contested air-space
NATO and Russian AWACS connot operate in contested air space too, they need escorts like ATR-42 will be escorted.

However, with 330km super long range radar, NAF ATR-42 will be operating 230km deep inside Nigerian territory and yet it will be spying 100km deep into South African side of the frontline and relay data of your weapons positions to Nigerian army.

F-7 jets will protect the ATR-42, simple common sense.

Airforce flew 18000 hours last year, 22 000 allocated "on paper"

How many hours did yours fly?

NAF is not counting hours anymore, we have gone too far beyond that low level, we now count combat sorties in thousands.

SAAF has been flying mostly transport aircraft for civilian VIP personalities sucking up your low fuel.

SAAF has not flown a single combat mission with jets in the last 20 years !

No wonder you have of 8 Gripen pilots qualified and only 12 Gripens in flying condition, the rest are in cold storage like Tilapia fish in a fish sales depot

Russia says the customer in NOT named.

South Africa has NO SINGLE satellite today

Ok, so again you were having an argument that no one else was?

And you dont get battle experience in a battle?

By your own arguments Biafra and Boko Haram arent wars either... so they dont count towards your "battle experience"

And what about Cuban soldiers fighting in: Congo Crisis, Bolivia Insurgency and Yom Kippur War?

Finally, when did these "Cuban girls" defeat the SANDF?

Clown, you just spew nonsense in this forum. You were destroyed a long time ago, all you have left is mindless trolling.
Biafra and Boko Haram are declared wars that lasted years, not 3 day coup detat in Cuba that you call a war.

Biafran surrender was signed as a war end, Nigerian government officially declared war on Boko Haram.

A political coup to overthrow a government is not a war, it is civil disobedience mixed with treasonable felony.

Shall we count all Nigerian coup detats that involved tank vs tank and add it to our war experience list ?

Nigeria had many big coup detat, biggest ones in Africa.

That's untrue, SA pilots train more often than many African countries including Nigeria. The thing is that we are used to keep our pilots in the air for too long and when that is not happening as often as we want to it becomes a political game.
Nigeria trained Zimbabwean air force and many others.
