Hey numbnutz

Smoke obscures the target

If the gunner cannot see the target he cannot guide the Swingfire onto the target

Conclusion: Smoke also defeats the Swingfire

Also, you have no laser-warning. So you will only know the Ingwe is there after the first batch of Nigerian tanks explode.

Nigeria has inferior tanks to the SANDF.
Smoke does not jam wires guidance, smoke jams laser and your Ingwe is the victim, our Swingfire is the victor.

Ratel has no radar to detect the Swingfire, they need to see Nigerian infantry, and SANDF is driving outside in a vehicle, Nigerian Swingfire is hiding in a house, behind wall, in the bush or behind a barrier/obstacle, so Nigeria sees South Africa, you will not see us.

Fact is that we are launching the Swingfire before you launch the Ingwe, that is the bid battlefield operational disadvantage SANDF will face driving armoured vehicles in the open streets or fields against Nigerian army Swingfire tank-killer missiles that are hand/tripod stand controlled and hidden from view.....Ratels die without knowing how we killed t.hem all. PITY undecided PITY undecided PITY PITY undecided undecided

Egypt about 1.5 million soldiers, about 30,000 tanks, artillery, APC, IFV, missile launchers etc

Egypt has 468,500 soldiers in its army

It has 22 000 armoured vehicals - most of which are obsolete.

Britain about 150 thousand soldiers, about 6,000 tanks, artillery, APC, IFV, missile launchers.

Some of the most advanced and best trained soldiers in the world.

Egypt has fought bigger modern wars against more powerful enemies than Britain has done in modern times.

England is one of 2 nations in earth that has fought a modern air-land-sea war

Egypt is not one of them.

Egypt has also never won a war in its modern military history. England is undefeated since the 1770's

Britain hides many times under USA/NATO joint forces.

They didnt when they crossed the globe to annihilate the Argentinians.

Egypt will beat the British on land

The Egyptian military is poorly run, has obsolete doctrine, largely obsolete equipment and has performed terribly in every single war it has ever fought - it has yet to win one.

During the Yom Kippur war a paltry Isrealy armored Divison (led by ariel sharon) defeated 800 000 Egyptian soldiers. A division defeated and trapped 3 whole army groups!! 800 000 defeated by less than 20 000!!!

You see, your understanding of military matters is the same as a childs. You think numbers are everything. They arent, they never have been and never will be. In modern warfare, quality will always defeat quantity.
Everything you wrote above is defeated by the fact that you don't know Egypt has about 1.5 million soldiers.

About 500,000 regulars and 1 million trained reserves.

Egypt's last war with Israel was a draw/stalemate and Israel was almost overwhelmed.

Britain defeated Argentina that had zero war experience and an army of youth conscripts who surrender without common sense.

I an not comparing air and sea, I said Egyptian army is more powerful than British army today.

Egyptian equipment includes modern 1990s to 2000s year generation American-European tanks and missiles.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Equipment_of_the_modern_Egyptian_Army

Britain is NOT any better, Britain is much smaller in equipment and out-numbered 10 times in infantry.

You make fraudulent claims and struggle to escape the traps you set for yourself

Tanzania, give us a break. Tanzania might be good (even better than Nigerian Forces) but they were nowhere close to accomplishing what we did.

They brought in artillery because they simply dragged it in from across the border, we brought in effective machines - Rooivalks. Their SF didn't conduct behind the line operations like ours, in fact there was nothing special about their SF -Parabats are a higher crop of soldiers than them.

Articles clearly state two occasions where the M23 ran across to Uganda after a defeat, first was when our Rooivalks were involved then second was when our Special Forces used snipers and mortar to overrun M23 positions which led them to flee (like Nigerian troops) to neighbouring Uganda.
I have proved with sources that the air war was joint operation between MONUSCO Mi-35 Hinds of Ukraine and FIB Rooivalks of South Africa, the glory belongs to United Nations led by army Generals from Brazil and Tanzania.

"Another South African news outlet, DefenceWeb, reported that the Rooivalks had conducted their offensive operations against M23 positions in partnership with a pair of Mil Mi-24/35 ‘Hind’ helicopters of the FIB. The report was not clear on who was operating these Hinds, but India and Ukraine are known to have contributed such helicopters to MONUSCO – the United Nations Organization Stabilization Mission in the DR Congo."

And you forget that South Africa has more and better ways to waste your entire armored formations.

I posted a comparison between Nigerian armor and South African armor and you were so shocked and saddened that you fled the forum for a full 48 hours. Do you wish me to do it again?

And you are moving the goalposts... first we are talking Ingwe v Swingfire... now you are talking about artillery? That is literally moving the goal-posts.
Post your NA vs SANDF armour comparison again I dare you !

I never run from this forum, I quit once in a while when I am tired of your fraud and open lies, and I always announce my quitting with reason, even the Admirals and Generals in SANDF will not make me run away in a debate, they have military training and I have it too.

Ingwe Vs Swingfire, smoke defeats Ingwe laser lights, Ingwe can only travel in a straight line, Swingfire cannot be jammed by smoke, it's wire guidance makes it swing around corners and deceive the target, Swingfire is better than Ingwe, reason why Egypt still uses them after battle experience with Israeli tanks, and China is now making new wire guided missiles after realizing that smoke defeats laser beams.

Swingfire is superior to Ingwe based on guidance system reliability.

Nigeria has more tanks than South Africa's dry land only semi-immobile army grin grin

And I see you have already backtracked, from: "the whole world was involed" to "all 20 MONUSCO nations" to now only saying 4 were involved

The fact is that the FIB only exists because of aouth Africa

Hence the lions share of the glory goes to South Africa
Nope, MONUSCO was involved in some last combat, and majorly was flank-guard and rear-guard protection for FIB, war is like that, you secure a theatre, not just a field of ops.

Tanzania brought D-30 long range artillery and used them to decimate M23, South Africa brought in Rifles, LOL, Lion share of glory goes to Tanzania, SANDF still desperate to steal UN glory because they have no other war to show the world except Seleka rebels catastrophe grin

So now you want to include artillery?

Moving the goalposts already?

And no, Cuban and Angolan T55s did not see the ZT3 that killed them

And if you deploy smoke then you cannot advance, or else you lose your smoke cover and are a nice target for ingwe

Deploy smoke and then you get blasted by G5s and G6's from 39km away- safe from your artillery. They can also hit moving targets, and the vulture drone will not be deceived by smoke.

Also, SPGs are terrible tank destroyers.

Can I now include Rooikat, Gripen, rooivalk, olifants, Milans, Valkyrie, Hawks et al?

feel free to move the goalposts AGAIN and you will be defeated AGAIN
I am not moving goal posts, I am only showing you how many different ways and means Nigerian army will waste your Ingwes and Mass M.urder Ratels.

You are the fools that believe Nigerian army has only AK-47 and Toyota Hilux. LOL grin

None of the SANDF equipment you listed above has any gun with 24km range direct fire mode with X8 high power magnification telescope like Nigerian Palmaria.

Why would the Ratel ZT3 fire all three at once?

What will happen is:

1. Ratel ZT3's fire first slavoe of Ingwe from a distance of 5km
2. Nigerian Armour cannot detect Ingwe because lol no laser warning
3. Numerous Nigerian tanks explode as though they were made from pure explodium
4. Surviving Nigerian tanks deploy smoke - because Nigeria has no weapon that can reach the Ingwe's which are 5km away
5. Smoke clears - Nigeria prepares to engage the ZT3's... but they are no where to be seen (what is shoot and scoot?)
6. While scanning for the ZT3's andother batch of Nigerian vehicals explode...

This happens two more times, once ZT3's have expended all their ammunition... they pull back to reload in safety.

That is battlefield tactics.

Conclusion: Ingwe > Swingfire
Sub Conclusion: SANDF Armor > Nigerian Armor

Mumu battlefield tactics, more like Policemen vs Armed Robbers on your street
grin

You failed woefully because you forgot that if the SANDF Ratel can see the Nigerian army Swingfire launcher, the Nigerian too can see him, so we are both sides are alert and ready for a fight. Then you launch your Ingwe and the Nigerian sees the flashing light of the missile burning booster and the long trail of exhaust smoke exposing the Ingwe missile to public eye-view of everybody. The Swingfire man launches defensive smoke immediately.

You South Africans fight military wars like Policemen chasing robbers in Soweto, this Patches fool thinks Ingwe is targeting some poor old men blind beggars on the street who cannot see a whole armoured vehicle grin

Nigeria has 50 Palmaria with 1,500 HE shells for direct fire mode with the 155mm gun having 24km range and special 8 times target image magnification/enlargement periscope electronic sight to target all Your 50 Ingwe Ratels long time before they come close to Nigerian lines, your Ingwe 5km range is up against a high calibre Palmaria gun with 24km range !

SANDF is dead before they can fire one missile.

You don't know how many different weapons Nigeria can use at will? ALL SANDF Ratels are suya roasted meat before us

Nope.

FIB was the only MONUSCO unit that was allowed to attack M23, Indians were breifly involved in the Defence of Goma (which they failed at) before the FIB was deployed.

Rooivalk was called in because the Hind was found to be unable to be effective

SANDF units were commanded by South Africans.

Dude, this is established fact. I have no idea why you continue to dispute these facts.
Dude stop lying, Ukrainian Hinds from MONUSCO joined SAAF Rooivalks from FIB to jointly attack M23 in final battles, that news report has been posted here many times repeatedly.

UN never used missiles because there were none. I don't think Nigeria would have mind to use just a single anti-tank missile against BH if they had any operational missile just to prove a point. To my understanding, Nigeria does not have any operational anti-tank missile. There is no way of taking this argument further since they have failed in every aspect just to utilise a single anti-tank missile. BH has proved on different occasions to be in possession of tanks to which the anti-tank weapon has been specially developed for.
You don't need $50,000 missiles to kill a tank when $1,000 HEAT shell from small Sagaie or Scorpion will do the job.

Reason why SANDF-SAN does not want to use expensive Exocet against enemy gunboat, they are thinking of cheaper options, read defenseweb

CAR which is thousands of kilometres away from SA has witnessed that SANDF with only limited weapons can still hold on to their ground without fear. The people of CAR witnessed fire they never saw before. Our comrades in arms with only limited firepower which was imposed on them by the French because their mission was not peacekeeping but to train the national defence by offering them military skills, could by no doubts suppress the insurgents to the level of raising a white flag in a bid of negotiating for cease fire. The insurgents could be hit from far by MGLs and many of them gave up their ghosts screaming hard for their mothers. The only thing that you could hear was a cry from a young boy who ran out of ammunition because rebels could only afford to give them single magazine loaded with a mere 5-6 rounds.

I know you will ask me about equipments left behind, not even weapons but vehicles which were used for the mission. The government of SA could not bother to leave such equipment behind because everything that was in there was already bargained for and would have been left behind even after the mission was completed. The equipment were already removed from SANDF inventory and so we had nothing to lose. The only objects that were to be airlifted back to the country after the parliament took that decision were military personnel and their weapons. All tents, geckos et al were to be left behind in accordance with what the parliament has resolved.
Nigerian army was attacked by Liberian rebels who out-numbered us, we did not withdraw, we did not wait for UN or AU approval, Nigeria sent reinforcements and fought many years war until we saved our fellow black brothers by sacrifice of battalions of Nigerian blood.

Yes, light travels in straight lines.

So if smoke obscures the target your gunner has nothing to shoot at. How can he swing your missile if he does not know where to swing it to?

Smoke defeats the Swingfire like it does the Ingwe.
The Swingfire launcher releases smoke, blocks Ingwe laser lights, wastes all 3 ingwes as each one is launched. Ratel becomes defenceless, Swingfire launcher sees smoke clear off (smoke is air swept, it clears quickly) then fires Swingfire, Ingwe perishes forever, PITY undecided

Egypt uses the Swingfire on mounted vehicals only - so yes it appears that it does have to be driven around to kill

It has replaced its man-portable systems with Milans and Javelins.

Exocet is still a viable technology and uses the correct seekers. Wire-guided ATGM's are obsolete.

Dude, dont come here with your voodoo logic
No, you have voodoo logic to show your dullness in the skull grin

Your SAN Valour frigate Exocet block 2 missiles are out-dated and replaced by Block 3 version, so your warships have useless missiles.

China just developed a new wire guided missile in 2000s, they are NOT obsolete, the world is still developing and using wire guided missiles because they cannot be jammed by smoke like your laser missiles.

Only wire guided missiles can turn around corners to hit target, laser missiles like your foolish Ingwe are forced to travel only in straight lines or else they miss target.

You say Egyptian Swingfires are vehicle mounted, now show us photo of ALL Egyptian Swingfire launchers to prove your fairy tale.

Swingfire is still in use by oil rich countries, all want to keep their powerful Swingfire missiles that cannot be jammed like the smoke defeated Ingwe.

Saudi Arabia with one of the best equipped armies in the world still uses her Swingfire missiles.

Then you say Swingfire has to be driven around by vehicle to kill, yet you say Egypt has replaced its man-portable systems with Javelin, well photo below shows Javelin being used to kill without being mounted on a vehicle, DENEL South Africa in 2013 last year developed new Ingwe missile without vehicle to be fixed on a tripod stand, so the newest Ingwe 2013 system cannot kill?
