You're simply chocking on excellence, how real soldiers conduct war - that's [b] the SANDF way.
All we see in your photo is SANDF soldiers doing demo, pointing rifles at open empty space with no single enemy to shoot grin grin

Your Swingfire missile is ancient technology, they stopped producing them in 1993 - that's when Abacha was still running your Wild-West......... EVERY MODERN ARMY IS GOING LASER GUIDED AT MISSILES

The Ingwe is ultra-modern,

- Ingwe is faster than the Swingfire
- Ingwe has a longer range than the 1964 stone-age Swingfire
Typing in big fonts won't save you.

LOL, Nigeria has the Stormer APC, they are used as launchers for Swingfire when the army does not want to launch Swingfire on tripod by hand.

Nigeria's Swingfire was produced up till the 1990s, SANDF Ingwe entered service in 1987.

A bomb made in 1960 will k.ill if it explodes on you.

Ingwe is laser guided and smoke grenade from Nigerian Cobra or other vehicles will block and blind the Ingwe guidance system to make it more useless than a bushman hunter's bow and arrow.

QUOTE :

"Despite their impressive capabilities, laser weapons do have some significant downsides. These can be taken advantage of to give the battlefield soldier a measure of defense against them. Because lasers are basically light, a number of everyday means can be used to diminish their effectiveness. Their performance can be significantly decreased or negated altogether by phenomena like fog, rain, snow, smoke, and so on, which can disperse or refract the weapon’s beam to ineffectualness, depending on how thick it is."

SANDF cannot fire one single Ingwe on Nigerian army, our infantry anti-tank guns have 7km range against Ingwe's 5km range.

Keep wasting your smoke blinded useless Ingwe missiles.

@henry,agaugust,stillchris,postmann,if the above is true, what the you think the motive is?,lake chad basin oil?,french conspiracy?....what action do you think should be taken against them?,i myself find it hard to believe that chad has the b.alls to pull such a risky stunt, especially now that the military anger against boko haram is at all high, they wouldnt risk the NAF using them to shine up its reputation, would they?
Need to be sure it's true, but I know Chad now has oil and it's close to Nigerian side.

I think Nigeria will be arming up to subdue (without war I believe) Chad, Cameroon, and Niger Republique in the next 5 years.

Boko Haram will be decimated, it's only a matter of time.

Nigeria is already angry, and any President that does not show it can wipe out Boko Haram will lose presidential elections for sure, year 2011 elections proved Nigerians no longer vote for a party at presidential level, they vote for the individual contestant based on their perception of his ability to perform well in office

Ingwe gets defeated by smoke grenades blocking off it's laser guidance system and thus disable the Ingwe missile.

Nigeria too anti-tank missiles called Swingfire, launched by our Stormer APCs

The swingfire is wire guided and swings around to confuse the enemy, it cannot be blocked by smoke

An account of how M23 was decimated by FIB. Coercive peace-keeping works!

South Africa at war in the DRC – The Inside Story

A blackout on operations by South African soldiers fighting rebels in the Democratic Republic of Congo has left historic battles shrouded in mystery.

Now writer Stephan Hofstatter and photographer James Oatway, who reported on two of the battles from the Congo, have been granted exclusive access to the men who fought in democratic South Africa’s most successful military operation. This is their story.

A routine drill that turned into war
It was replaced by 5 SA Infantry Battalion, based in Ladysmith. The relieving force is supporting Congolese troops in driving the remaining Mai Mai rebels into a cordon in the mountains north of Masisi and preparing for a final ground and air assault.
Source of above story is South African, your usual war propaganda lies.

Post us insider source from independent United Nations MONUSCO and FIB that own and led the whoe war in Congo DRC against M23.

No, my friend. That is complete failure. BH started off with ZERO equipment to be recovered and paraded. That they were able to collect equipment, some from your men, is a failure on your military's part. You shouldn't celebrate that. You should be ashamed.

And then also, the picture below would imply success on BH's part, based on your post. So would the latest developments of captured towns and the ever-cowardly soldiers. Success for BH then?
Nigerian army Islamist officers who are fifth columnist traitors steal our weapons, army uniforms and vehicles then smuggle then to Boko Haram, insider betrayal.

Well, great NAF destroyed 100 Boko vehicles last week.

The town of Mubi is occupied by both Nigerian army on one side and infiltrated by Bokos on the other side. Problem is the Bokos entered Mubi in Nigerian army uniforms and opened fire on our soldiers, and the army's only way to separate friend from foe is to withdraw from that part of Mubi and leave only Bokos there so that they don't have friend and foe mixed together and they begin to kill colleagues by mistaken identity of same uniforms with Bokos.

Hardest battle in the world, it is against the international laws of war to wear your enemy's uniform, but this is an unconventional war and so hard to fight, we have the might to wipe out Boko in few weeks, but you need to identify them first and map them out to a cut off area, or else you kill your own soldiers and innocent civilians.

This is the hardest war in Africa

civilian made rockets sometimes are fired in the vicinity of people, but hard core missiles, no way can be tested near where people lives.
That's no ordinary rocket, it is most likely a guided missile, it flew horizontally meaning it's controlled to a landing point.

If it is vertical (then returns down by parachute to same launch pad) or parabolic, I will say it could easily be unguided rocket.

Epe rocket project base has always been in a town with people, desire for secrecy is making the government move it to an Island, Epe is a coastal town

Mokopa Anti-Tank Missile 10km long range is useless :

South African air force chief confesses to Defenceweb in Johannesburg

Denel’s Mokopa PGM ready for market

Written by Leon Engelbrecht, Wednesday, 26 January 2011

"This is in line with comments made by SAAF chief Lieutenant General Carlo Gagiano on that subject, he saw only limited short-term opportunity for Mokopa with the land services. “Most armies won't use it optimally, he noted. Land-to-land targeting at 5.5km, as with Ingwe, is already a very long range for target acquisition. You cant's see much further in the dust and glare of the battlefield. With Mokopa you go over-the-horison and then your communications and command-and-control has to be very advanced. Many armies are not yet confident enough to use such a weapon. The Ingwe is still very much on the sweet spot for most applications,” he said. "

Mokopa has been rejected by SAAF because the 10km range is useless, too long for real battlefield realities according to your country's air force chief.

DENEL is a foolish weapons developer, I have always warned you South Africans that too long range is useless on real life battlefield practically, you won't see the enemy target.
