Patchesagain:You can go redecorate your Oryx interior, it is still a 1987 air frame and function design, helicopters have advanced since 1987 era. SAAF is many years behind NAF, or Mi-171s is a year 2002 design and is brand new, keep sulking with your ancient helos. Better go replace them when you have money in year 2030, for now SANDF is broke, @Andrewza is at risk of retrenchment . |
Patchesagain:Fool, both means the same thing. Combat-Transport Helicopter = Assault Helicopter. Fool ![]() . |
NaijaPikinGidi:Roger that sir ! . |
andrewza:Mi-17 Hip is NOT Mi-171s Terminator . Same way MiG-21 is NOT MiG-31. Your Oryx does not carry any guided missile, same way your Rooivalk does not carry any guided bomb by specs. Go kiss a frog with your ancient outdated 1987 Oryx helicopter that keeps rotating in a recycle factory ![]() . |
MikeZA:The news of Nigeria's 40 new combat helicopters from Russia has reached South Africa, we have left the Americans to sulk. Patchesagain: andrewza:All the 3 of you are very very wrong ! Nigerian Mi-171s Terminator helicopters are a modern year 2002 product specifically designed for dual role, attack and transport as a bigger type of Mi-35 Hind. South African Oryx was NEVER designed for attack role and is an old outdated past generation year 1987 helicopter. Stop making wrong comparison based on envy. "The Mi-171Sh can be deployed on a range of missions, including the airlifting of assault forces, transportation of cargoes, troop fire support, air-to-surface attack, escort of the military columns, medical evacuation and combat search and rescue (CSAR) operations." http://www.army-technology.com/projects/mi-171sh-combat-transport-helicopter/ .
|
MikeZA:Simple, the order was shifted to Russia. According to your own respected South African sources, Nigeria is buying 40 Russian Mi-35 Hind and Mi-171s Terminator combat helicopters . |
andrewza:South African army has NEVER deployed more than 4,000 soldiers in a war zone in the last 60 years so we don't know how well armed you will be when you deploy 20,000 men into one single war zone like Nigeria. Sure you will look like Congolese rebels . |
Msauza:The weblink sources and photos have been repeated on this forum too many times this year, reason why old timer South Africans on this forum don't bother to argue when I mention it . |
andrewza:15 million South Africans live in permanent darkness, ZERO electricity. Your country stinks too . |
LaBellaMafiaZA:Now who is this MotherFvcker ? Soweto keeps producing new cockroaches on Nairaland ! . |
MikeZA:I proved it just last month, source is your own defenceweb news from South Africa, was posted here as part of the Mokopa missile fraud expose. How many times wil I repeat same source weblink again and again, you think I time to waste? . |
MikeZA:I will respond to only one of all the lies you posted above to save time. Project Carver is a paper drawing of a South African dream jet fighter that NEVER existed, it was brought to this forum in 2013 by @Saengine and it took only 1 minute to demolish it....by just tearing the piece of paper drawing that any good artist can draw in a day. The jet NEVER existed....Now pull another one ![]() . |
Msauza:El shabab terrorists k.ill people inside Nairobi shopping malls, but Kenya remains big tourist attraction for the whole world. Criminals are on hourly rampage all over South Africa like ants swooping on sugar cubes, tourists are careful to avoid many places so as not to end up like the Unlucky Lucky Five You live in a glass house, don't throw stones . |
GreenandGold:No..... beauty varies by what you decide to show and publicize. Fact that South Africa makes lots of photos of what they have and display their best tourists sites on internet does not makes other countries less beautiful. Every country is not photomaniac. Most French tourists visit francophone West Africa. I live in the USA and every year, 90% of well to do Americans travel overseas for tourism. The top list destinations are : Mexico Brazil Spain Hawaii Bahamas Dubai Thailand Vietnam Italy...Roman empire monuments and great arts Australia Egypt....Pyramids Israel...Bible monumet sites Kenya....Safari Sorry, very very few American tourists know about South Africa. The biggest tourist travellers in this world are the Americans and those places they visit around the world are said to be awesomely beautiful. The world neither starts nor ends in South Africa, you SA guys need to travel out and go see that none of the seven wonders of the world is found in South Africa, I am sure the great wall of China is not situated in Cape Town . . |
iterator24:Obudu Ranch. Tinapa. Calabar carnival annual. Eko Eyo masquared annual. Jos rocks. Idanre hills. Ikogosi warm spring. Olumo rocks. Durbar kano annual. Argungu fishing annual. Badagry slave trade sites. Thousands of tourists visit Nigeria, government is not interested in documenting it or recording those events. Tourism sector is not yet priority for Nigerian governemt, the great sites are there and hug number of tourists visit, especially the annual festivals . |
Msauza:No need to imagine a calamity that will not happen to Nigeria. We have done nationalization before by turning British Petroleum to African petroleum, so we can just ask Globacom as our national telecoms carrier to take over MTN.....easy ride. I see SA guys no longer boast about about eating Nigeria's $9 million, they now realize we will eat up their MTN worth say 100 times more, then we will know who is the real big loser ![]() . |
Msauza:A South African publicly admitts that Nigeria has demoted South Africa by sitting on top of their head....I bookmark the above comment for future reference . |
lezz:Oga no mind am, the guy dey talk like say na palm wine full him water bottle ![]() . |
EroZA:Am sure comments from @lezz gives you nightmares. Live with it ![]() . |
Patchesagain:Dude those are old stories already proved with citations on this thread over and over again, I have almost 6,000 comments on this forum to back up my claims, so feel free to view the sources quoted there. I will NOT play that repeating citations game for a fraud like you, sorry o ! . |
GERALD710:How do you dominate with about 2 times smaller economic output and 3 times smaller consumer sales market? MTN customers in Nigeria alone is equal to the whole population of South Africa. That is what investors are looking for. You can eat your nice infrastructure for breakfast if you want. Who cares? Nobody . |
GreenandGold:How does Nigeria's oil and gas industry work 'without' electricity in the oil fields? Many big companies/industries have IPP electricity 24 hours a day. You don't know Nigeria beyond google searches . |
Patchesagain:Does it hurt you? Do you know how many things we Nigerians proved here and you still deny? Butt hurt ![]() |
Patchesagain:With imported engines from France and USA, imported designs from Canada, imported engineers from Israel....well done ![]() . |
Patchesagain:You don't sell $4 million T-84 Oplot tanks or do you? We are guying it from Ukraine. Rooivalk is NOT worth the $40 million price tag, it's a highly over-valued at the same price of an Su-30 Flanker jet ! South Africa sells average weapons at exorbitant rip-off prices, reason why Nigerian's ignored Woolworth till they ran away from Lagos . Robbers ![]() |
Patchesagain:Nigeria is NOT Zimbabwe. Nigeria nationalized British companies many decades ago, and Britain could do NOTHING ! British Petroleum was swallowed up by Nigeria to become African petroleum. MTN will be gifted to Globacom when we decide to retaliate ![]() . |
Patchesagain:So when an army kills the enemy, they leave the enemies weapons on the streets for anybody to pick up and use or for the enemy to come back at night and re-possess? No wonder anyway, South African army has ZERO war experience and does not know how to handle captured enemy weapons, SANDF will soon be in Nigeria for COIN training, come with your training/course fee, no free lunch, learning from African COIN masters is expensive. Who owns all these captured weapons? Did Nigerian army collect them by negotiation with Boko fighters? Look, if your comments become more and more frivolous, I will stop replying you, I don't have time to waste on a Fool . .
|
Msauza:I thought @Patches was the only L..U..N..A..T..I..C we have here ! . |
MikeZA:Ordinary refusal of one European country to sell a simple spare part of Rooivalk helicopter to South Africa stopped you from selling to a willing customer. So easy for your European white masters to wreck y.our arms industry with one single email from Europe . |
MikeZA:South Africa too could not build her own jet fighters or even ordinary air to air missiles to replace the weak Mirage jets France sold to you, you kept complaining of Cuba's MiG-23 air superiority throughout the war. So what makes you better? The G-5 and G-6 artillery technology was imported and sold to South Africa by a Canadian, while the Nuclear bomb technology was imported from Israel and sold to you. South African arms industry was built by secret b..reast feeding from oversees throughout the arms embargo. Learn to quote history . |
MikeZA:Mild sanctions brought you to your knees in Angolan bush war. It can happen again and cripple all your European imported jets, warships, submarines etc. South Africa is a tiny piece of overrated Hollywood camera . |
