southie dondies.... fake special force using wheelbarrow vehicle lol

see rea SFs here... with real SF vehicle with proper protection for the frontlines.
Fantastic, those are the type of advanced countries Nigerian SF compares with.

Honestly, the South Africans are ashamed on this special forces debate, they have no LAV and no ATV in their entire military !

If the VBL is a special forces vehicle... why do french special forces then use the VPS instead?

WRECKED
....Standard armies like USA, Nigeria, France, UK, Russia....etc ALL have MORE THAN ONE TYPE of special forces usable vehicles, not useless Southie SF that have only one type that has zero bullet proof protection.

So how do your Southie SF engage in operations where all round bullet proof cover is required against snipers and large number of riflemen shooting AK-47 from all directions

Nigerian SF use VBL, Toyota 4x4, Spartan Mk III, Cobra, Scooter ATV....many different types.

I have proved VBL was designed for SF use and other purposes. I also proved you wrong, VBL is parachute air drop-able.

You have been proved wrong on every point ! South African SF will have their EXPOSED knee caps chopped off with terrorist AK-47 grin

The combined force was, however, too small to hold, despite firing ripples of 107mm rockets directly into the advancing enemy, and was repeatedly enveloped. By about 6.30pm the fighting had moved into the suburbs, and they were ordered to fall back into the base. They had by then suffered several wounded, and many of the Hornets were running on rims, their tyres long since shot flat.

the hornet was useless in actual battle
Hornets tyres were running of rims ! No run flat capability !

Not to mention poor situational awareness
VBL has 360 degree situational awareness, from wide front screen, all sides and rear window ports, roof top rotating 360 degree turret.

Ordinary rainfall will soak wet all South SF, your rifles will drink water along with your soldiers.

LOL, open sides no bullet proof protection for Hornet.

All those SA special forces hanging their legs outside will have their knee caps shattered by Boko Haram AK-47.

One legged amputees will fill up your hospitals in Johannesburg.

By using the word recconaissance you have already compromised your argument because there is only one division in the armed forces trained to carry out recce duties and that's special forces.

That vehicle can also be dropped down the plane with a parachute, something which ordinary soldiers cannot do or even Nigerian special forces cannot do. Lol!!

Hornet is a rapid deployment vehicle which can only tell you that no ordinary forces utilise rapid deployment vehicles but only special forces. Fake military researcher.

YOU LOSE!!!
Bwahahaha grin grin

You call me fake military researcher? You wannabe air force man, your own comment just proved me right.

The VBL is a...

1. Rapid Deployment/Reaction vehicle
2. Reconnaissance vehicle
3. Parachute deployable vehicle

"The Panhard VBL armored scout car was intended for French Rapid Reaction forces. "

http://www.military-today.com/apc/vbl.htm

"VBL Light Armoured Reconnaissance Vehicle. "

http://www.casr.ca/bg-army-larv-project.htm

VBL deployed by parachute in time band 1:08 minute of video

So according to your own argument those are the 3 things that makes up a special forces vehicle and the Nigerian VBL is qualified 100%

Hornet is NOT a special forces purpose built vehicle - Confirmed ! grin grin

"The Wasp rapid deployment reconnaissance vehicle developed in 2003 produced by BAE Land Systems OMC and to satisfy the requirements for a light airborne rapid deployment vehicle.

In April 2008 the Wasp was chosen by the South African National Defence Force (SANDF) for use by their special forces in covert operations as an air-droppable vehicle. The South Africans ordered 25 of these out of a total requirement for 40 vehicles.

The vehicle is known as the Hornet by the South Africans."

Current SA special forces killed over 600 Seleka rebels and suffered zero casualty.

What an experience!!!
6 Special forces soldiers of South Africa were killed by Seleka you liar !

"The Beeld reported on Tuesday that beyond the official toll of those injured, killed and missing, six special forces operators were also killed in the fighting."

South African special forces were said not to have fought according to @Andrewza because all 13 men who died and were named are paratroopers not SF https://www.facebook.com/CHUTESYSTEMS/posts/10151489647766773

This proves the Seleka story that more than 13 SANDF troops dies, actually over 50 died.

South African Beeld news report above also confirms this, saying apart from official list of 13 dead Parabats, another 6 dead special forces were not publicly named.

The SF could have been killed while running away to avoid a fight with Seleka.

Even if they did fight, the only fact we know is that either fleeing or fighting Seleka, SA special forces got beaten up blue black by local farmers turned rebels with no military training grin grin

So, it was only 1,000 Seleka men that uprooted more than 250 SANDF Elite forces.

"President Zuma said just over 200 South African troops had battled more than 1,000 rebel fighters."

http://www.bbc.com/news/world-africa-21923624

The SANDF mission was not just to train CAR government troops as claimed, the mission had been expanded to include staying in CAR to protect human lives of that country...so mission was NEVER accomplished and a total failure !

" It remains for Minister Mapisa-Nqakula and President Zuma to explain how the diplomatic note figures in the extension of the MoU and the deployment of the South African troops, who would come under rebel fire three months later.

The diplomatic notes provide for the ‘reinforcement of the South African Contingent for self-defence, protection of property and saving of human lives in Bangui’. The expanded scope of cooperation to include – self-defence, protection of property and saving of human lives."

Funny your last American SF photo below shows a distant ATV in the photo, Nigeria has it, you dont have in SA ! The nearer vehicle in the same photo painted brown is nothing but a simple Toyota Hilux kind of vehicle with guns on it Nigeria has it in the second photo below painted green.

Nigeria has thousands of open body Toyota 4x4 including the ones with armour despite being open.

We have all you have, and we have extra and more, we have a large variety of vehicles our SF can choose from....LAV and ATV, open or covered, armoured or soft skin.

Later the NL clown augubugu will come and claim they posses the best jet fighter squadron in the hole sub sahara and there relic cold war 1960's F-7 flying coffins can take out a Gripen on any day.
American and European jets crash in bad stormy weather

F-7 crash was NOT in air combat with another jet.

The F-7 crashed due to heavy wind storm during a slow landing after returning from successful combat mission.

Any light jet can be stalled by heavy wind storm when the jet has slowed down to land. The storm was so heavy it carried the F-7 pilot away with his parachute after successful ejection, he was swept by wind force into a tree and that tells how heavy the storm was.

A Gripen or F-16 jet would have suffered same fate at landing in heavy storm, no jet has immunity to that.

Not a combat loss, F-7 good to kill a Gripen if it comes to combat. Fighting against forces of nature/weather, both jets will perish.

"He made a similar statement as the Air Force that the crash could have been caused by bad weather, saying there was heavy windstorm in the area. We saw the pilot parachuting out of the jet but he could not land safely as he lost control and rammed into a tree as a result of the heavy windstorm leading to his instant death. In a statement on Saturday, the spokesperson of the Air Force, Dele Alonge, said the aircraft crashed at about 4:23 p.m. Nigerian time due to bad weather."

Why should a Cobra be open all round when it has many side and rear windows/firing ports for SF to use in firing individual rifles? Dummy.

Only a foolish soldier like you thinks the best thing to do for special forces is to put them in an OPEN VEHICLE with ZERO PROTECTION and no single bullet proof cover so that even a 10 year old boy will kill all your SF with simple AK-47 rifle.

American special forces have thousands of SF Humvees fully covered and armoured, http://usamilitaryposters.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/09/SEALSV12-800.jpg

1. Ok, so you dont know what a HALO jump is.

2.
- Yes walk through many miles
- what is the range of a X-38 catermaran?
- Its been done plenty, we did it in Angola
- Are all the countries in the world? Will SF only ever operate in land locked countries?

Probably one of the most assisine arguments you have ever made.

3. Citations for 500km or more foot insertions by Nigerian SF. You made the claim, prove it - I can prove my claims.

4. Hornet is better armed (1 HMG, 1 GPMG and option for ATGM/MRLS/60mm Mortar), it is more versatile, it can be paradropped and it can be easily slung. VBL is not a SF teir vehical.

5. Same guy "killed" 3 times.

6. SA-7 Strela manpad has a max-altitutde of 1.5km
http://weaponsystems.net/weaponsystem/EE01%20-%20SA-7%20Grail.html

Star-streak is a state of the art peice of equipment, un-jammable and one of the most feared MANPADS on the world - with an altitude up to 5km.

7.
- RGP cant kill tanks, cant even kill most modern IFV's
- Effective range for an RPG = 200m
- Effective range for a Milan ER = 3000m
- Who said tanks? Will SF never be asked to take out enemy equipment? Radar towers/ammo dumps/HQ's/Aircraft? We can do that from 3000m away with a Milan. You cannot
- RPG requires two men, an operator and one man to assemble the projectiles (propellant and war-head are seperate - you should know this military researcher)
- South African SF operate with up to 100kg of equipment on them, so its not a problem for us

8. Soldiers on the ground confirmed the story, their accounts have been posted here many time. Stories were denied by the SANDF WHILE OPERATIONS WERE ONGOING because of OPSEC

9. SANDF Recce's have seen combat in Bangui and DRC and in both places displayed their skills. Knowledge is passed through training. Your SF have no knowledge because they were only established 7 years ago. ROK SF/SOF have not seen combat since the 1950's... are you saying your men are better than them?

10. Except the long list of former SADF men still in the ranks of the SANDF

You are wasting my time with assinine and childish comments.

Talking about VBL's as though they are SF tools - posting pictures of VBLS you dont have , telling us that a 1960's MANPAD is better than a modern one, telling us stealth insertions via submarine have no point.

The only reason you say this is because you know that we have these things and it is what makes us better than you.

Again, our police SOF are better than anything you have.

Pics of ACTUAL SANDF equipment

1. Wasp - notice HMG, GPMG and MRLS
2. NTW20 - record holding 20mm sniper rifle
3. Wasp on deployment with SF
4. Based MILAN

Nigeria has nothing on South African SOF/SF

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nQm50m7F8aY
1. Fool, HALO jump is a simple parachute jump, even Wikipedia explains it. Nothing special there, fool.

2. Does your submarine land on coast land to insert troops? No ! You drop them off at sea far off where water is deep and the SF travel the remaining distance by inflatable boat . Nigeria has many X-38 stealth combat catamaran specially built for SF insertions in covert ops.

3. Trekking 500 km does not win any soldier a fight. Can you fight and kill the enemy? How many kilometers did US Navy seals trek to kill Osama Bin Laden? 0 km. We are talking about SF in combat not olympics walk competition. BTWN, all evidence shows Nigerian SF have more stamina, we have compared SA SF and your men are weaker in quality of physical stamina training. Wanna repeat that photo show ?

4. VBL carries all manner of weapons and equipment from cannon to missiles, auto grenade launchers to anti-aircraft missiles and radar.

The Hornets deployed by SANDF have only machine guns, no missile or rockets, we saw them in Bangui. You too were posting Hornet variants you don't have, so I too posted VBL weapons options confirmed with photos.

The VBL can be parachute dropped . Nigeria too has all those MGL, AGL, knee mortar, anti-material rifle blah blah blah. Why the noise?

Who told you VBL is not a specialty SF vehicle you dummy? See the display photo below at a special forces equipment show, VBL + SF black amphibious boat and the SF troop on it ! Mumu. The Hornet is a stupiiid SF vehicle that cannot swim and is exposed with no cover for the troops sitting inside it, every Southie SF gets killed even by stray bullets grin grin

5. Killing every successor of Shekau is an achievement, SANDF failed to kill Seleka rebel leader since 2013.

6. SA-7 missile has 4.5 km altitude http://fas.org/man/dod-101/sys/missile/row/sa-7.htm

The Starstreak is a joke at 1km altitude

7. RPG needs only one man to operate you dumbo dundee brain ! Even a 16 year old boy can use RPG alone by himself. You fool !

SF are not sit down and wait here anti-tank fighting crew, they are fast moving attack and get out small teams, facing more than one enemy tank like a T-90 will get them wiped out in 5 minutes. Many tanks now have ERA or composite armour that will defeat ATGM, then the SF presence is known and their lives will end that day. SF don't engage in anti-tank missions as a specialty. They are trained to be riflemen.

8. SANDF brigadier general says there was no sniper record kill, and that kills the story, it becomes mere Wikipedia propaganda formulated by SANDF men to romance their own egos

9. It is on record that SANDF special forces refused to fire one bullet in Bangui, according to your own country's sources. They ran away.

10. There is NO RECORD of any combat achievement of current South African special forces in the past 20 years. Old men have retired, dead.
