Yes he asked a valid question, what kind of assitabtshio are you looking for, RA, GA, TA... But I think it will be better if you let him suggest whats best fit for you (your academic profile). There are many unannounced assitantships, so share with him your academic strengths and gest what options he gives. You can as well indicate your interests to other departments (maybe as a grader, administrative personnel etc). The options are numerous.

It depends on what exactly you want. Most Masters students are not funded.

To answer your question, ask or tell her that you’re interested in a fully funded (or partially funded, depending on what’s available and what you want) Research Assistantship or Teaching Assistantship.

I’m sure the graduate admission/program admission page has this information already.

If you’re a PhD student, you should ask when Funding decisions will be made.

My friend paid 15k for sending her transcripts to Wes and it was evaluated within 2 weeks (thou hers is master), and she didn't pay anyone for fast track.

I don't think you can do a fast track for unilag transcripts. It's been done electronically as Nasu has resumed so they are processing it fast and it will get to Wes on time. Someone I know paid for the transcript and got her evaluation report from Wes within 2weeks.
You can still wait for others with experience to respond.....

I would also advice you apply to schools with your study background, since you’re not meant to apply to just a school. At least 6 schools. Least!!!

Spread your applications. Make it 50/50.
Then when the interview stage shows, you go with the best bet.

Some Graduate Advisors (not all), would let you know that “I can’t work with you because you don’t background in this and that”

Don’t forget the game is to get a possible better offer (funding) from graduate schools not JUST ADMISSION.

I think you can switch based on your future plan for yourself. So, you can always tell VO your future plan and while this switch in Masters is necessary to match with what you want to do when you are done with your Masters.

Think of why you want to switch. Think of the career you want to go into. Then, use it to convince the VO.

Also, a pressing need or persistent problem around you may inspire your passion and push you to change career.

For instance, if you did biology education and you are teaching biology in a school in your community, but there's no health centre in your community or the one there is not functioning or they usually lack steady availability of health professionals. This can move you to switch to accelerated nursing program in US or Masters in Public Health or Masters in Nutrition or Masters in Environmental Biology so that you come back and proffer solutions to the health challenges in your community.

They said even if you are not done with your Bachelor, you can still apply. They said if you did first degree in another field, you can still apply for the Msc in Biology that they will help you make it up for you. I saw the email of the person to contact. They said you can apply anytime. Scholarships are available.

If I were him, I will craft my CV and send one compelling cold email to the person and attach my CV. He will literally beg you to apply and get admission.
