"The pay is not mandatory but the Federal Government chose to add it in other to encourage youths and I think it is commendable. That money is enough for the average and prudent youth to feed and transport himself/herself every month. Even financially prudent youths can save from that amount and others can manage to send something home to their poor parents and siblings. This is done with NYSC allowance talkless of this. Let us learn to appreciate the little we have. A few governments in Africa can do what the Federal Government is doing for us now. Let us take the initiative and show that we are truly the Giant of Africa!" This part is self serving. it is entirely unnecessary. The analysis of the programme is greta..but the effort was ruined with the highlighetd paragraph! |

Poster said: This post shows how you can determine your age by your shoe size. A friend on fb posted it on her wall so I tot I'd share it here. It's especially a usefull invention for PAs and MAs who cannot tell their correct age. Try it & see. 1. Take your shoe size 2. Now multiply it by 5 3. Add 50 4. Multiply by 20 , 5. Now add 1011 (Last 2 digits in this number must be the 2 digits of the current year for it to be completely. Eg 1010 for 2010 and 1012 for 2012etc) 6. Subtract the year you were born. The number you get will be your shoe size & your age. The first 2 digits are your shoe size & last 2 are your age. Am i right? Please note question number 1 again, I thought we were calculating shoe size? |
Money not evenly distributed, & I doubt if there is any monitoring framework. because the VCs will just change their official cars & use the rest to buy fuel and campaign for their next term in office. |

The last Liverpool buy was a black Nigerian boy from Leicester or so, The Liverpool Football Club recognizes that Racism is a thing of the Liverpool as a city not the club isolated and had as well inaugurated all sorts of campaigns against racism. This was the major reason why the media and English football spectators were at Liverpool's jugular all through the Suarez row because they (spectators) believe Liverpool shouldn't have dons as much. As a fan, I believe Suarez may have been wrong, but the temperament and state of the game worsened things for everyone considering d fact that both players were literally sent on each other that day. Glen Johnson, David Amoo, Michael Ngoo, Stephen Sama, Kristopher Peterson, Toni Silva, Emmanuel Mendy, Raheem Sterling, Jordan ibe etc are a few from d list of LFC players, and all of them are important to the club. Recently, John Barnes was appointed as the club's Chief of a part of the supportes Association. My point is that you should not use a single circumstance to label the club. How many black players does Arsenal buy? The fans would commit wrong that the club can try as much to control, but until there are "Racist identification scanners", there's no way we can prevent a fan from entering the stadium. |
Dat will be very cool, but will the governors agree, with the cripplingling debt burden on lagos state?, But they can do good for the region considering the prowess of Fashola, Amosun & Ajimobi! I hope them well sha, |

@ Karpenter, I really hate religious arguments o, The main txt dat we all are commenting said that the weight of evidence was probably a reason for his plea, I'm talking from the point of view of his trial, I did not in anyway justify his act, He has contributed to whateva name islam is called, we have rebels in all religions, Did u not read dat I topped my class in Christian Religious Knowledge & Bible Knowledge subjects Guess it was cuz I adviced u to learn more dat got on ur spine, my apologies, remain ignorant, See, just read d context and analyse, don't be a bigot, which religion in d world says it's safe to kill ?, whether he pleas guilty or no guilty, he will still be convicted, the trial is just for him to come and say his own part of the story, if not the fact that he was a muslim, he could ve pleaded insanity, & the next we hear is brain scanners installed at the airports, Don't miss my point>>>> I still say that Islam is a religion of peace irrespective of what some ppl made it to be, if u're in doubt do some reading on Bhuddism or Humanism, ![]() Ayowumie: |
@Karpenter, u need to attend a madrasa to know what islam is about, odawise buy the 40 hadith of An-Nawawi (pronounced as spelt), make sure u get the english translated version & endeavour to read it, u'll probably know the epicentre of islam, ![]() the word Islam itself means peace, so it is right to say religion of peace, if u keep ur argument of islam as being a bad religion, what will u say of the churches dat ordained gay marriages, or churches in Nigeria that preach prosperity & milk their members dry, ain't not a fan of religious argument, having topped my class severally in BK or CRK as they call it nw, bt seriously, Muttallab just spoilt the shine of those willing to get excited by the trial & nw they are complaining, whether he pleads guilty or not, he will still be convicted, hw are we sure that his plea is not the result of his father's invitation to the US, last January .That's why I prefer to watch Liverpool Man. United playing dan reading US & Terrorism, ![]() |

this haas been reported in ThisDay, http://www.thisdaylive.com/articles/no-governorship-election-in-bayelsa-four-other-states-appeal-court-affirms/89687/ This looks like a reward 4 failure, the Court should have looked at the social value before they gave judgment! |
The Court of Appeal in Abuja has delivered judgment on the one-year tenure extension for the governors of Kogi, Cross River, Adamawa, Bayelsa, and Sokoto States. Giving the lead judgement Friday, Justice Mohammed Lawal Garba upheld the earlier judgement of a Federal High Court also in Abuja, which extended the tenure of the five governors, adding that there will be no election in the five states so mentioned. In February this year, the Federal High Court stopped elections in the five states, declaring that the polls which brought the five governors to office in the first place were void. The ruling by Justice Adamu Bello set new but separate dates in 2012 for the end of the tenures of the five governors. The affected governors had gone to court to challenge the Independent National Electoral Commission's (INEC) decision to conduct governorship elections in their states this year, insisting that their tenures only began after they won the re-run elections in their various states. It would be recalled that the last month filed an appeal against the judgment of the Federal High Court, Abuja, which stopped the conduct of governorship elections in the affected states. Justice Bello had held that because the tenure of the affected governors had not yet expired, it would be illegal for INEC to conduct elections in the affected states. In the appeal, the electoral body asked the court to set aside the judgment of the High Court and hold that the tenure of the governors would come to an end on May 29, 2011. According to Justice Bello, the five governors tenure will end on the following dates: I brahim Idris (Kogi) April 5, 2012; Aliyu Wamakko (Sokoto) May 28, 2012; Murtala Nyako (Adamawa) April 30, 2012; Liyel Imoke (Cross River) August 28, 2012; and Timipre Sylva (Bayelsa) May 29, 2012. http://234next.com/csp/cms/sites/Next/Home/5690316-146/story.csp |

I love Buhari, bt will not vote for him, Bakare once said he'll open a can of worms against Ribadu, till nw, he has not opened anything, I do not admire or like GEJ cuz he is a toothless bull dog, ACN is still a party to beat cuz they r organized, they ve an aim & they fight it out, see hw they tried to work wih CPC & CPC frustrated it, see http://www.thisdaylive.com/articles/acn-how-buhari-bakare-frustrated-alliance/89598/ , it's quite unfortunate, those we think r honest may not be as holy as they claim, we all know dat Tinubu may not be clean, bt he's still a devil we know & one that likes us, Ribadu built EFCC, Fola Adeola built GTB! |

the so called guy was said to commit suicide died of low blood sugar, from an Uncle who also worked in Afriproject then said, many attimes when he'll be working & suddenly wake up in d hospital, the salihuji guy died while working, if there was any fraud, it would ve been uncovered like when the Atiku issue came up, We all fail to realise dat Buhari did all these under Abacha & I keep saying dat apart 4rm the Human Rights issues dat Abacha had, he was still d best manager of Nigeria's economy, Buhari worked only on the PTF project, traversing hthe lenght & breadth of the country then! but now, he's 70, I doubt it if he still has d same strenght has before, whateva support he's getting nw is plainly solidarity & a repayment of the selfless service he has rendered to communities, Let us hail d idea & look to sm1 who can do better!, & pls do not malign the Afriproject ppl, if u know those guys as they worked then, u'll weep for hw dis country has been plundered! |
