Romance / Re: Virginity Is Not A Female by aisha1314(f): 9:36am On Jan 11, 2023 |
Inspirations: I personally see no need for virginity before marriage. That's totally outdated. My own is that people should just practice safe responsible sex to prevent unwanted pregnancies, abortions and STI infections. I'm an advocate and promoter of safe sex not virginity and abstainence. |

Romance / Shaming Of Women Over Leaked Sex Videos Or Nudes. by aisha1314(f): 9:29am On Jan 11, 2023 |
Why are women always shamed so many if their sex tape or nudes which were made or taken without their consent are leaked onto the internet? I ask this because I feel such shame and embarrassment is quite unnecessary since they aren't the only people having sex; it's something natural that everyone does! And also, is there any way for a person that this happens to to get justice here in Nigeria? 18 Likes 8 Shares

Romance / Re: Is It Possible To Make A Woman Happy In A Relationship Without Money? by aisha1314(f): 6:53am On Dec 14, 2022 |

Well personally, I don't need my partner to have money for me to be happy with them. As long as the guy I'm with is kind, caring, smart, trustworthy, respectful, responsible, and mature, how much money he has is irrelevant to me. I'd much rather be with a man who doesn't have much money but treats me well than be with a rich man who is mean to me. I don't judge guys (or anyone for that matter) based on how deep their pocket is. I know most ladies here do that, but I don't. 1 Like |

Thebadpolitican: Well, I don't give a shit what anybody, not even society or custom, thinks about me or says about me behind my back, as long as my actions don't hurt anyone because I have every right to live my life my way, and my way only. If people want to call me a harlot just because I choose to live my life in a way they do approve of then that's their problem, not mine. Other people's opinions of me don't concern me. |

Abba114: We'll for your information I'm much happier as an atheist than I was when I was still practicing religion. I regent absolutely nothing. Since I left everything about religion, I've never felt like god is punishing me or the urge to pray. I'm so happy I've seen the light and left that thing called religion. I have nothing to say to anyone who has a problem with that. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Airforce1: Well I just feel marriage is rather outdated. I feel you don't have to be married to someone you love in order to be with them. People don't need a piece of paper (marriage certificate) to tell them that they're in love. And also the stress of marriage can be too much. I feel I'll be happier in a long term relationship with a partner than in a marriage with a husband. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Airforce1: Just follow your heart and do what makes you, and only you, happy. In life, as long as your actions don't hurt anyone, what people think about you or say about you doesn't matter and you should never allow it to bother you. I don't care what people, even people in my family, think about me. I never have and I never will. Me when people give me unnecessary and unsolicited advice or try to force their beliefs on me, I just completely ignore them. I don't even bother to listen or respond and when I do respond I just tell them to mind their own business and butt out of mine. Don't mind Nigerians and their stupid religiosity and morality. They're just a bunch of useless and senseless hypocrites, with that imaginary fictional thing they call god. That's one of the reasons why I decided to be an atheist. What matters is your happiness and your happiness and satisfaction only. Remember, morality and religion are subjective. Don't allow anyone to force their moral and religious beliefs on you. Just do your own thing and be yourself. Even me if I eventually decide to have children I'd rather have them with a partner or long term boyfriend than with a husband. People say I'm immoral for saying this but I couldn't care less. My life, my choice. I'm really happy you created this thread. Once again congrats on your new baby. Don't allow all the idiots on this forum to ruin what should be a joyous occasion for you. 2 Likes |

If I tell you that your phone has no maker or manufacturer won't you wish me to get well soon? Whatever you say. I'm just so tired of all these religious people. But I guess disbelief will always be a threat to believers. If your faith can move mountains as you say then it should be able to withstand criticism. Your beliefs are not sacred or immune to being criticized by people who can see through them and know that they're all false. |

jimter44: And what's so terribly wrong with giving birth out of wedlock? It's not like it's a crime. Times are changing so I don't see it as anything bad. It's just Nigerians and their stupid morality and religiosity that make a big deal out of nothing. I don't see anything wrong with being a "baby mama". Just that I don't really want children but if I do change my mind, I'll rather have them with a partner (ie a long term boyfriend), not a husband. I really hate how stupidly judgemental people are on this Nairaland. Once someone goes against their nonsense moral standards they begin to insult and criticize the person unnecessarily. Everything is a crime to you guys. All anyone needs to say here is congrats and that's all. 2 Likes |

Uptownerd: No it's not at all bad to have a child out of wedlock in my opinion. I don't understand why people here make such a big deal out of it. There's nothing wrong with it. Just Nigerians and their nonsense religiosity and morality. But most guys just don't want to be responsible, especially financially for a child that's not their own that's all. It's not that single moms are bad people, most are actually very nice, hardworking women who really love their children. Men just don't want that responsibility. Though if I were a guy I wouldn't mind. I would not run away from a woman who's a single mom just because of that, as long as she has a good character. 1 Like |
