This is utterly despicable. I don't understand how someone can carry a child for 9 months and then do this kind of thing to the child. Some people desperately want a child but can't have one and then someone else chooses to kill a baby like this. If you have a baby you don't want or can't care for then why not just give it up for adoption instead of murdering the poor child? Or better still why not just prevent the pregnancy in the first place by practicing responsible sex?

I never knew someone who is also underage could be charged for statutory rape. I don't see anything wrong with a 16 year old being on family planning. After all the age of consent in many countries is 16. I don't see how this is such a big deal that it should be on the news.
In my opinion, sex should never be seen as something that is bad, dirty, shameful or immoral but just as a normal and healthy part of life and living. There's nothing wrong with sex as long as it's safe and consensual.

If the mother knows she's sexually active then that's the wisest choice. It's better for the mother to take her to a family planning clinic than to be forced to take her to an abortion clinic.
