Politics / Prof Eleka Campaign Organisation Debunks Rumoured Pact With Segun Oni by AishaYesufu: 8:05pm On Jul 05, 2021
The attention of Kolapo Olusola Eleka Campaign Organization has been drawn to a sinister and concocted falsehood, being peddled by one Abraham Olusegun Adeleye, who is one of Bisi Kolawole’s Media Team, where he erroneously said Prof. Kolapo Olusola has agreed to deputize the former Governor, Chief Segun Oni who is also an Aspirant in the forthcoming PDP primary election.

It is imperative to state without ambiguity, that such an allegation is a figment of imagination that should be thrown into a basket of irrelevance. It is worthy to note, however, that, Prof. Eleka and other prominent PDP leaders in Ekiti State, including the South West PDP Chairman, Amb. Arapaja, Senator representing Ekiti South Senatorial District, Sen. Abiodun Olujimi, former Governor of Osun state, Chief Olugunsoye Oyinlola and others, met with HE, Governor Seyi Makinde to discuss some certain issues as touching the state of the party in Ekiti State.

It is also important to state clearly that Prof. Kolapo Olusola is committed to the welfare of the party and its members, hence the rumour making the round that he has conceded or will concede to another aspirant should be discarded.

Finally, we want to enjoin our teeming supporters across the 16 LG's that Prof. Kolapo Olusola is very much in the race to salvage the party from its moribund state. The mission to rebuild Ekiti state is a collective responsibility.

Thanks.

Logic must not be your forte. If he "keeps [his] distance" from her (and not communicate that he doesn't want to proceed with the marriage and by extension, not discuss co-parenting terms with her either), how will play his role of being a father to his child— sneak into her house to spend time with the baby and give him/her the upkeep money? Lol. It's obvious he's going to be an absentee father if he does do what he's considering.

Stop sounding irrational.

[/s]olodo distance in this context is emotional distance not physical distance.

Him wanting to keep his "distance" without communicating his decision to her and working out arrangements for his child's care, is. In other words, he will just abandon her and the child, hoping she will get the message. If this is how some of y'all behave, then it's no wonder there're many baby mamas in Nigeria. Ridiculous.

Marriage isn't by why force, but it's not after being with someone for not 1 or 2 but 6-years, promising them marriage, knacking and having them carry your child that you'll suddenly realize you don't want to marry them and should that be the case, you're obligated to tell them wassup.
Keeping distance from her doesn't mean not playing his permanent role of being a father to his child. He owes her no obligation or explanation whether legally or morally. If he decides to communicate his exit to her, fine! If otherwise, still fine irrespective of whether he dated her for 6 days or 60 years! Stop sounding emotional...

You people keep creating issues for yourself.

If you don't want to marry a lady then don't promise her marriage and make her wait for you. 6 good years and now with a baby you suddenly realized that it's not gonna work out.

Some people are even advising you to stay away from her, do you know the heartache she will be going through right now.

Tomorrow we will hear an ex girlfriend killed an intending groom to be and everyone will blame the lady.

Do unto others as you will want them do unto you.
So because a man promise a lady marriage means he can't change his mind if the lady isn't what he wants? Emotional rant

That you're even considering doing that after 6-years of being with her and having a baby together, is totally ridiculous. You and the people who advised you to do that are equally senseless and cruel.

What is senseless and cruel? Is marriage by force?

@OP Lawrenzooo my advice for you is to evaluate the situation critically and make decision. If continuing with her won't guarantee your peace, TAKE A WALK OUT!

What you owe her at this time is to be a responsible father your the child you both have, and a lover to her (while the relationship lasts). Relationship/Marriage is not by force. Our peace is paramount. Don't allow popular opinion into blackmailing you to take silly decision that is unfavorable to you. Promise to marry or length of relationship isn't a meal ticket to marriage.

Use your brain because when e set na you go face am

Politics / APC'll Surely Be Defeated Despite Defection Of PDP Stakeholders - Olusola Eleka by AishaYesufu: 12:25pm On Jul 03, 2021
... says it's about time PDP connects with the people to save Nigeria

A former Deputy Governor of Ekiti State and a major stakeholder in the People’s Democratic Party, Prof. Kolapo Olusola Eleka, has advised elected leaders under the PDP to connect with Nigerians to challenge the shortcomings of the All Progressive Congress, adding that the 2023 general election will be decided by the masses irrespective of the gale of defection.

Professor Olusola Eleka, who is one of the prominent aspirants in the coming governorship election in Ekiti in 2022, faulted the recent defection of some governors and National Assembly members into the All Progressive Congress, which he described as inimical to the party that gave them the mandate abinitio.

He said: "It is unfortunate that since the coming to power of the ruling party in Nigeria, the country has been moving from one deplorable situation to another. The economy has been on collapse, infrastructures only improve on the pages of newspapers with nothing to show for it.”

Eleka made this known through his Media Aide, Mr Adeola Adebisi, on Friday at a briefing with journalists in Ado-Ekiti, the state capital

“Nigeria is presently in a period where the masses will take their destinies into their hands without much preference to political affiliations. Bandit invasion of secondary schools, kidnapping of innocent Nigerians and killings and other vices are now a common phenomenon in Nigeria under the APC federal government.

"Before the coming of this APC administration, it was easy for farmers to go to their farms without being killed or maimed, students attended classes without fear of being kidnapped or killed by so-called bandits. But what we have today is the complete opposite of what we used to experience. From the northern part of the country to the south, the story is the same.

"Despite the unfortunate situation that the APC has plunged the nation into, it is unfortunate that some people are more concerned about their interests by defecting to the party, even at a time Nigerians are looking up to them for direction.

“While I am not against the right of people to exercise their democratic right of association, I find it faulty that the defectors into APC are citing their interest as motivation for defection and not service delivery, which should be the motivation."

Eleka further maintained that Nigerians have rejected the ruling party in Nigeria and Ekiti, adding that the various agitations, including the famous EndSARS protests and those of secessionist groups, are all testaments to the lack of will to bring Nigerians together and to provide dividend of democracy by President Buhari.

He said: "I do not doubt that APC will be defeated in 2023 poll across Nigeria. Before then, they will be defeated in Anambra, Ekiti and Osun states gubernatorial elections scheduled for November 2021 and 2022 respectively.

“It is a shame and disgrace for any political leader to abandon the PDP, which Nigerians are looking up to for redemption, at this time."

Politics / Don’t Be A Pawn On The Chessboard Of Politicians, Eleka Advises Ekiti Youths by AishaYesufu: 3:48pm On Jun 30, 2021
Don’t be a pawn on the chessboard of Politicians, Eleka advises Ekiti Youths

Prof. Kolapo Olusola has charged Ekiti youths to be more involved in the decision making of the state than being used by political merchants, adding that no political thug has ever benefited reasonably after the election. Even, the so-called benefits are short-lived and lack sustainability.

The former Deputy Governor and PDP’s governorship candidate in the 2018 election, made this known today while addressing Young Stakeholders of the People’s Democratic Party, (PDP).

The historic Youth Conference which was powered by Independent Democratic Elite Association (IDEA), in conjunction with PDP Young Stakeholders at Ado Ekiti, attracts hundreds of PDP youths from the sixteen Local Governments of the state.

Addressing the youths, the University Don said the conference is timely and inevitable, giving its nature to bring intellectually agile youths together to discuss governance and how they can contribute their quotas to the development of Ekiti.

“The mantra “youths are the leaders of tomorrow” is outdated. It must be stressed that the tomorrow is now, not the future. I have recognized this fact early in life and I have devoted a major part of my life to help youths realize their potentials. It is important to say that, a government without the involvement of reasonable numbers of youths will lack advanced innovations”

Youths’ involvement in politics should not be in a destructive way but should be based on creativity and resourcefulness. This however places a burden of responsibility on the youths to display the creativity, character and integrity needed to be involved in decision making.

Eleka said there will be a paradigm shift in governance in Nigeria and most importantly in Ekiti if the youths show the readiness to participate actively and are ready to contribute positively, rather than helping in destroying the already fragile system.

“The recent bye-election in Ekiti East which claimed some lives was a shame and bereft of the tenets of democracy. Youths should hold the government accountable, not making themselves available as pawns on the chessboard of politicians”

Calling on Ekiti youths to mobilize massively for the ongoing voters’ registration, Eleka said statistically and with empirical facts, youths play pivotal roles in the electioneering process of any election.

“I want to charge those who are yet to register with the Independent National Electoral Commission(INEC), to maximize the opportunity of the ongoing Voters’ registration at their various constituencies, Eleka said.

As an individual and leader, I am irrevocably committed to the words of President Franklin Roosevelt - " _We cannot always build the future for our youths, but we can build our youths for the future_ ". Hence, I look forward to supporting you always in ensuring the realization of your God-given talents, potentials and ideas for the socio-economic development of our dear state and our country.

Politics / “Rise Above Your Stomach And Respect Yourself”, Okai Tells FFK Over Bello Praise by AishaYesufu: 5:19pm On Jun 23, 2021
An advocate for good governance and leading opposition figure, Comrade Austin Okai, has slammed a former minister of state for aviation, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, over the unmerited praises showered on Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi state.

Comrade Okai, a man that has always voiced his opposition to Governor Bello due to his maladministration and mismanagement of the resources of the state, advised the former minister to rise above his stomach and pecuniary gains, and desist from insulting the sensibilities of Kogi indigenes.

He made this known through a statement that he personally signed on Wednesday, and made available to media organisations. The statement reads;

“I have observed with great dismay the complimentary remarks and comments showered on the infamous Governor of Kogi state, Yahaya Bello, by a former minister of the country, Chief Fani Kayode.

Until recently, Chief Fani Kayode used to be a man I hold in high esteem, but is gradually tilting towards the path of infamy.

I expected that being a man, who has served at the highest level of government, the Federal Executive Council, Fani Kayode should be able to differentiate good governance from clownishness, but I was wrong.

Since the past days, FFK has been using every opportunity and platforms that he has to insult the sensibilities of Kogi indigenes and residents, who have been at the receiving end of Bello’s evil and maladministration, by labelling a man, unanimously agreed as failure in our state, as a performer.

The same Yahaya Bello, who is infamously known as a disgrace to youths and governance, is the man Chief Kayode coronated with the robe of champion of Nigerian youths.

It is unfortunate that since 2015, FFK has fallen from the exalted office of Campaign Spokesman to President Goodluck Jonathan to the clownish state of instability and riff-raffism.

His notorious instability has seen him become a champion of Biafra secession whenever he is with Nnamdi Kanu, a champion of Oduduwa republic secession whenever he’s is with Sunday Igboho, and at the same time an advocate of one united Nigeria whenever he is with Yahaya Bello or any Nigerian Governor. Which mentally stable human being will be an advocate of secession and at same time an advocate of united Nigeria?

While I am not against the decision of Chief Kayode to take advantage of the wastefulness of Governor Bello, he would have done himself good by quietly taking his share and hide his shame instead of exposing his disgrace.

It will be in the interest of Chief Fani Kayode to respect himself as a former minister and rise beyond the dictates of his stomach. He can’t be a critic of the failed Buhari administration but at the same time praise Yahaya Bello, who is a much greater failure.

Kogi state Indigenes will not fold arms and watch anyone insult their sensibilities and make them look stupid simply because such person craves to fulfil the ambition of his stomach”.

Politics / When Will Buhari Visits You To Commission Projects? Austin Okai Asks Gov Bello by AishaYesufu: 1:35pm On Jun 18, 2021
Kogi opposition voice, Usman Okai Austin has challenged Govenor Yahaya Bello of kogi state to invite President Mohammed Buhari- who he has severally describe as his 'Father' to come to kogi state for a day visit .

It’s unfortunate our Governor who is also among the closest Govenors to Mr President can not invite his 'father' for a day visit; and this is simply because, as tradition demands, the President must commision projects and the evidence on ground suggest there is none to be found.

Austin Okai who describe the five years of Yahaya Bello led administration in Kogi state as a monumental waste and a betrayal of good governance, challenged Gov Yahaya Bello to invite the President to the state and prove him wrong.

"Yahaya Bello is always at the forefront of all the activities of the ruling party, but yet, the state has nothing to show as the benefit of our Governor closeness to Aso rock. Lamenting on the poor condition of workers in the state, the activist call on the governor to accept the reality that, Kogi state is crawling in terms of good governance.

"It is shameful and disgraceful that nothing works in Kogi state. What we are good at celebrating as achievements is either the governor's birthday, naming ceremony and celebrity visit (all at the expense of state finance). This is the extremity of sycophancy and the very antipode of good governance."

"Most of the cherised state assets are either not in a state of good repair or vandalised to the detriment of it's citizens; but yet, we claim to have the youngest governor in Nigeria. If youths are the future, then, Gov Yahaya Bello represents the past."

"The civil service has been so bastardised to the level that civil servants - with enormous wealth of experience garnered over the years through the sponsorship of state resources are cocooned to the dustbin of maladmnistration under Governor Yahaya Bello.''

''What is today obtainable in Kogi state is, maladministration undiluted, pretentious political loyalty by the impoverished appointees of government and supposedly men of good reasoning all in a bid to achieve personal gains."

"Pensioneers who have served the state diligently and meritoriously are being ostracized as their monthly pension is being feasted on by the state government."

"Local government administration is the hub of all corrupt tendencies as elected representatives at all levels can only bark but not bite - with council allocations the only sure bet for state government expenditure."

He challenged the governor to open the books of state government to public scrutiny, through auditing of the accounts of the state and local government by external auditors and making the report open for public interrogation- as the last audited report of state books was done in 2015 -, this is an abberation, Okai fumed.

''The auditor general of the state and local government have turned emergency billionaires and celebrities with pilfered state funds to the detriment of all facets of the state government" he lamented.

Press Statement

PDP To Buhari: Our Governors Don’t Peddle Falsehood Like You

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) says it is appalled by the unwarranted attack and name calling by President Muhammadu Buhari against the governor elected on the platform of the PDP.

The party describes as upresidential and pedestrian, a statement by President Buhari, in which he described the governor elected on the platform of our party as peddlers of fake news, just because they pointed to his failures and proffered solutions to the challenges facing our nation.

For the avoidable of doubts, the PDP insists that our governors are responsible and responsive leaders, who have always shown concerns towards the plight of Nigerians.

It is on record that they attend to the wishes of Nigerians in their respective states and do not by any whim, recourse to peddling of fake news and lies like the Buhari Presidency and his All Progressives Congress (APC).

Nigerians will not forget how President Buhari and his party came to power by means of fake news, lies, falsehood, fake promises, deceit, beguilements and negative innuendos, a scope they have widened and deepened in the last six years.

In fact, it is equally on record that never in the history of Nigeria have we had a Presidency that so thrives on lies like that of President Buhari, to the extent that Nigerians have even given one of his ministers the public the appellation of a “liar”.

Even most recently, President Buhari openly resorted to false claims when he told Nigerians that his administration has pulled out 10.5 Nigerians out of poverty in the last two years, only for the World Bank to do a fact check and discovered that, to the contrary, 7.8 million Nigerians have rather been dragged below the poverty line in the last 12 months.

It would also be recalled that in fishing for lies to justify its unwarranted ban on Twitter, the Buhari-led Federal Government alleged that Twitter makes “billions of naira” in Nigeria, only for fact checks to reveal to the contrary.

Nigerians have not forgotten how the Buhari administration scammed Nigerians with a non-existent national carrier for which billions of naira was funnelled out of the treasury, in one of the biggest lies a government ever told its citizens.

Since the Buhari Presidency has called itself out on its tradition of lies and falsehood, the PDP will not hesitate to publish the Buhari and APC compendium of lies, as told to Nigerians.

It is also ludicrous that President Buhari whose Presidency is a known sanctuary of corruption could attempt to point accusing fingers at governors elected on the platform of the PDP just because they pointed to the evident mismanagement of our petroleum and other national resources.

This is an administration which has not been able to account for over N15 trillion reportedly stolen from NNPC coffers including the N9.6 trillion detailed in the leaked NNPC memo, the reported N1.1 trillion worth of crude stolen with 18 unregistered vessels, the over N2 trillion siphoned through various subsidy scams and other reported frauds in agencies such as FIRS, NPA, NDDC, NEMA, NHIS, among others.

It is on record that unlike the PDP administration that exposed and prosecuted any official accused of any misdemeanour bordering on corruption, President Buhari, in a very recent global interview admitted that his government and party are infested by corrupt people and that instead of exposing and prosecuting them, he devised a way of “easing them out”.

The Buhari Presidency and the APC must know that their unwarranted attacks on our governors cannot sway the public or divert attention from the atrocities of the Buhari administration.

Politics / Professor Kolapo Olusola Eleka- Beyond The Rhetoric By Tope Adebayo by AishaYesufu: 1:39pm On Jun 17, 2021
By Tope Adebayo

That the political spectrum hegemony of the great state of Ekiti is witnessing a surge in emotional outburst is no longer news but the traction is the race for the next Executive Governor of the state has begun. It is gaining momentum daily and everybody is eagerly waiting for better leadership.

The next Executive Governor of the state must understand the mechanism of modern-day politics and have a great grasp both of human management and talents maximization which would help in identifying the right and capable people across the board, giving the right support for them to excel in their duties and making the state great again. This has been my stand and this will continue to be my stand.

Permit me in my normal style to take a cue from the greatest book of all times and I will talk about Goliath and David; you remember the story right.

There was a contest and for forty days Goliath threatened and was commandeering the forces of Israel into a box - the Israelites dreaded the quarterly hour announcement but nobody dared confront Goliath -nobody wan die as our waffle people do say. It was gruesome torture, a pandemic to the soul of the people and a slow death to their life because Goliath's victory would be doom for their economy as they would be in chains and not change. Goliath was having the show until one day, a little boy with no experience as thought by some came on board.

Goliath has been talking to them for forty days and has reconditioned their thoughts, recalibrated their focus and revalidated their doubts in themselves but David who was from another school of ideology listened to what he has been trained to see because what you see is a function of what you have trained your eyes to see.

The army of Israel was suffering more from mental incapacitation and we know mental slavery is one of the worst if not the worst of all slavery.

You all know how the story ended right - so how does this correlate with Ekiti politics?

It’s no longer news that I am routing for Professor Olusola Eleka and when I read comments from shallow minds I laugh because they fail to understand the workings of the secret.

Professor Eleka is not a man that makes noise because men of letters are men of high intellectual acumen which gives them a comparative advantage in analyzing and proferring solutions. I was opportune to have a look at his CV and I see a man that rose through the process gradually to be the man he is today. You don’t attain such heights through the noise but meticulous actions, giving yourself to studying and discipline.

Professor Eleka is a man that listens to superior ideas. Life doesn’t make a man-god but people around him would choose over time whom they believe can be their God's representative in flesh and once these same people reject you as their god, heaven rejects you because “vox populi vox Dei". One attribute of God in heaven is that he listens and gets feedback. He said "come let us reason together" and in another place, he said "bring forth your strong reasons" - any leader that doesn’t listen is one heading fast into oblivion and destruction. In this period of social media where news is disseminated at the speed of light any leader who doesn’t listen shouldn’t be graced with the staff of power and I tell you Professor Olusola Eleka listens.

David was indoctrinated into the school of the ideology of Saul and he was “given the opportunity” to wear the armour of Saul - the king. What a great opportunity for the king to give you his armour and only “betrayals” would reject the offer, shallow minds would say. Saul was not wrong because from the school of ideology he led, you must go to war with particular attire and only those who wants to die won’t follow that thought sequence - the question is "if your thoughts can produce the results your mind is saying why don’t you fight yourself in the armour"?

David wore it and removed it saying he had not tested it before - what a rebellious boy that enjoyed grace as he was sleeping when the ticket was given to him and the opportunity to appear before the king was effortlessly handed to him.

What they failed to understand is nobody of less value and importance gets access to the palace - if David hasn’t had anything of value to offer, he won't ever have an audience with the king. He was getting prepared for this in the wilderness for ten years and his appearance was not just a flash but a growth one.

David would also have died if he has gone to war with that strategy of wearing armour. Goliath would have seen him as a warrior and he wouldn't have let loose his guard but he confused Goliath by going to the war front with the attire of a shepherd boy and a sling. The most important thing is for Goliath to fall and the land of Isreal free from the intimidating, depressing and anti-people policies of the Goliath we see.

Professor Eleka is a man of great wisdom and superior strategy whose hallmark is not grandstanding on social media pages but whose demeanour is getting Goliath killed with the available resources - he is a man you should meet.

I close with my words 'great men don’t make noise they make the news that generates the noise". David didn’t need forty days to make noise - he used a day to create the news that created a national noise. Even in the dictionary, news comes before noise and Professor Eleka is not just ready to be trusted with the leadership he has grown over time to deserve it.

I support good, capable and purpose-driven leadership. Professor Eleka is the answer

Politics / Importers Association Fingered In Aiding Arms Into The Country by AishaYesufu: 11:27am On Jun 17, 2021
CSO Accuses Some Leaders of Importers Association of illegally Aiding Importation of arms and ammunition

The importers association of Nigeria has been fingered by a prominent civil society organisation, Nigeria Integrity Movement, NIM, to be aiding the importation of arms and ammunition illegally.

Mr Kayode Eso, the national Coordinator of NIM, at a news briefing with media organisations and newsmen in Kaduna, accused high profiled individuals within IAN of using their influence to aid individuals and organisations that do not mean well for the the country into importing weapons into the country, and thereby sabotaging the security and lives of Nigerians.

Text of the briefing reads;

"Due to our concern over the illegal proliferation of arms and ammunition in the country, we conducted a discreet investigation and observed that these sophisticated arms and ammunition were brought entered the country through our borders. We also observed that some senior members of the importers association have made illicit fortunes by conniving with those that do not mean well for the country to bring in these arms and ammunition.

We are appalled that citizens of this country will put the lives and property of fellow countrymen and women under threats, sabotage the efforts of the government and security agencies just for pecuniary gains.

While we concede that some not all the members of Importers Association of Nigeria are into this heinous practice as there are still noble men and women within the system, we strongly state that those prominent members in this illicit comduct and their collaborators should be fished out and dealt with in accordance with the law.

We therefore call on the Inspector General of Police, the Director General of Department of State Security, the National Security Adviser, the Chief of Defence Staff, Chief of Military Intelligence and other intelligence and security agencies to commence investigation", the briefing ends.

Following the indictment by NIM, our correspondent made efforts to reach the Chairman of the association, Mr Kingsley Chikezie, to react to the indictment was unsuccessful as his lines were switched off when our correspondent called. Efforts was also made to reach him physically proved abortive as the association's physical address could not be ascertained.

June 18th: Eleka Gives APC Red Card, Says PDP Will Reclaim Its mandate In Ekiti

A former deputy governor and PDP governorship candidate in the 2018 election in Ekiti State, Prof. Kolapo Olusola Eleka, has said that All Progressive Congress, APC performed below expectations in delivering dividends of democracy since 2018, adding that Ekiti people will experience better governance under PDP.

The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC had fixed June 18th, 2022 for the Ekiti state governorship election.

Reacting through his Aide, Mr Adebisi Adeola, Eleka admonished Ekiti sons and daughters who are yet to register for voters Identification Cards to endeavour to get their PVCs, saying that is the only tool they have to change the current government, which has impoverished them beyond imagination.

“Next year, Ekiti people will decide with their PVCs, whether or not to continue with the current spate of insecurity, dwindling economy, poor Infrastructure and stagnation in Human capital development in the state," Adeola said.

While calling on PDP stakeholders to intensify their efforts in rebuilding the party for victory in 2022, Eleka said PDP stands a chance of winning the forthcoming election if the party comes out strongly after the primary election, slated to hold by January.

“We have brilliant products in the party who can win the election. The most important thing is for all stakeholders who are involved in decision making to put the party before their interests.

“The idea that if it is not me or my candidate, the party should not forge ahead be condemned.

"The divine ambition of Professor Eleka to return Ekiti state to her excellent position in Education, adequate and sustainable development and building a robust economy, and creating employment through Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET), is inevitable if given the opportunity by the party leaders to fly its ticket," Eleka concluded.

Politics / Name, Shame The Minister, Bank MD Involved In The $37.5M Transaction Or Resign by AishaYesufu: 3:04pm On Jun 16, 2021
Northern Youths Council of Nigeria have noted with rude shock the revelation by Mr Abdulrasheed Bawa, the Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) during an Interview with Channels Television in their flagship program “Sunrise Daily”

Mr Bawa was quoted as saying: “We investigated a matter in which a bank MD marketed a property to a minister and agreed to purchase it at $37.5m. The bank then sent a vehicle to her house to evacuate $20m from her house in the first instance”

It is safe for right thinking Nigerians to conclude that EFCC is through with its investigation of the matter, sadly, the said Minister and the bank MD are yet to be Ducked in any Court of Competent jurisdiction.

The NYCN have noted this as a deliberate attempt by the EFCC to conceal the identity of the thieves of our common wealth. If the EFCC can speedily parade suspected Yahoo boys and girls, why is the case of these characters different?

The inability of the EFCC to disclose their identity shows that either some people are powerful than the EFCC or there are some powerful individuals that planted the EFCC boss are teleguiding him on who to parade or not. Either ways, this amount to betrayal of trust of Nigerians and Mr President that appointed him to handle one of the focal point that led to election of the APC in 2015 and its reelection in 2019.

The Northern Youths Council also noted the concerned raised by EFCC wherein he stated that some people are after his life. We want to assure him that Northern Youths will stand with him and do everything to protect him, even if it means providing human shield for him in all his outings provided that he put the interest of over 200m Nigerians above the microscopic few that have access to our common patrimony.

In the event that the EFCC feels he can’t name and shame the bank MD and the Minister involved, we call on him to humbly resign and leave the stage more serious and fearless person to takeover the wheel. Corruption must be killed, if our nation must survive.

Until the identity of the minister is made public, Nigerians will continue to see every female minister serving in the present regime as operator of “House Vault” that are out for self aggrandizement. To salvage the reputation of other Ministers that are selflessly working for the betterment of Nigeria, the EFCC should quickly let the cat out of the bag.
