U guys are so focused on USA u don't even see d damage of the Chinese. The Chinese has more control over Africa countries dan western countries itself.Look at the loans dey lending Africa countries. What do u think dose loans are for.Kenya as a case study.I think they have one of dier largest office in Africa is in china (i can't remember d bizness now but i think its a phone company ).China's presence in kenya alone is baffling. How many European bizness can u see here?
But what we are discussing now is ADB and USA play a major role here. Of course, we are aware of China activities as well. China is the new enemy while countries of the west are age-old enemies. Remember that African countries wanted to get rid of these age-old enemies and went east to seek out China but ended up getting entrapped by a new enemy, China. The China case is even more stupid because China never had a colony in Africa. So, we have multiple "wars" to fight. So far we know that. Many of the startups founded by young Nigerians are owned by financiers in the West. They are following the western model of venture financing which most of our parents did not do as they built up their businesses from within. Wait for another 20years to see the outcome. From Konga, Propertypro, IrokoTV, Taxify/Bolt, Flutterwave, and there is even one founded by a Nigerian thats collecting entire Africa's DNA database. How dangerous is the latter. So, we are entirely owned by the West. Let us stop fooling ourselves. China is a new and more dangerous player on the scene and they "play" like a serpent.

Well said Bro... Do you also know that this is the first time a Nigerian is heading since its establishment? And we are the largest African shareholder in the bank...
I didn't even know a Nigerian has never been president of ADB before even though we are the largest shareholder. Nigeria should put its foot on the ground. We are not saying the country should support wrong doings but not when it is orchestrated with attempt to steal ADB presidency and instal a stooge that is. answerable to Washington there. USA will just be sending memos to their stooge president on what policies to implement. That's how they shot down Okonjo Iweale ambition to head IMF or so.. I know these people. I have lived with them for over two decades. They can't stand independent minded Africans. I don't tolerate their nonsense. Because he is Nigerian, they assume it is easy to paint him as corrupt and nepotistic. White people are devil incarnate, especially those running their governments. They are callous and souless.

Stop standing in d middle.
Not when USA is the architect of his woes with the aim of getting their stooge in that position. Look at Africa Union, Ecowas and others. What value are they adding to the lives of their constituencies. Nothing, because they are headed by stooges to western powers. How long shall we continue this.

See a probable Igbo pointing finger. Sad I don't do tribal things. It's meant for low-lives who can't see the world beyond the lenses of their village mentality. Every groups in Nigeria is filled with tribalist but a particular group has carried tribalism to a new level. Tribesmen or tribewoman, time to go back to the village.

Which wrong are you talking about as if you are part of the system their. These western power want stooges that will serve their interests in such position. Once you are independent minded and protest the interests of the people you ought to serve, they want you ought. Most of you Africans, especially Nigeria are still naive and have no global view.

Africa is still a colony to western powers. We are all fooling ourselves that we are independent nations. See what France is doing to french-speaking Ecowas countries. Until we start fighting these neo-colonialists and their local proxies from within we and are children and grandchildren will never be free. We just have to get off the dependant mindset that we need the West to survive as a continent. They need Africa more than Africa need them. We have to first get rid of enemies within, the corrupt and tribalist bigots, and then face the main enemy, the West.

EFCC cannot act on this alone without dragging the previous Speakers of the house into it.

The paragraph 3 of that memo says "as is customary in the house" which means it had been going on before this 2018 memo and probably still happened in 2019 and this year also.
But the previous speaker himself already has case with EFCC. Is it not Kuforiji? Here is the link to the story on Lagos ex-speaker EFCC case. Obasa will be going down too.

If you know your history you will understand why the white man act the way he does. Read the account of the European that deciphered the Egyptian hieroglyphics. The white-man was a savage and he still is. Forget all the inventions and economic might. All that is driven by material power and domination at all cost.

In a letter written by Chanpollin the Younger, who deciphered hieroglyphics in 1822, to his brother, Champollion-Figeac, he state: "Right in the valley of Biban-el-Moluk, we admired ...... the astonishing freshness of the paintings and fine sculptures on several tombs. I had a copy of people presented on the bas-reliefs. At first I had thought, from copies .... printed in England, that these peoples of different races led by the god Horus holding his shepherd's staff, were indeed nations subject to the rule of the Pharaohs. A study of the legends informed me that this tableu has a more general meaning. It portrayed a third hour of the day ..... Thus we have before our eyes races of man known to the Egyptians and we learn at the same time the great geographical or ethnographical divisions established during that early epoch. Men led by Horus, the shepherd of the peoples, belong to four distinct families. The first, the one closest to the god, has a dark red colour, a well proportioned body, kind face, nose slightly aquiline, long braided hair, and is dressed in white. The legends designate this species as Rot-en-ne-Rome, the race of men par excellence, i.e., the Egyptians. There can be no uncertainty about the racial identity of the man who come next: he belongs to the Black race, designated under the general term Nahasi. The third present a very different aspect; his skin colour borders on yellow or tan; he has a strongly aquiline nose, thick black pointed beard, and wears a short garment of varied colors; these are called Namou. Finally, the last one is what we call flesh-colored, a white skin of the most delicate shade, a nose straight or slightly arched, blue eyes, blond or reddish beard, tall stature and very slender, clad in a hairy ox-skin, a veritable savage tattooed on various parts of his body; he is called Tamhou ..... The variations I observed fully convinced me that they had tried to represent here inhabitants of four corners of the earth, according to the Egyptian system, namely: 1. the inhabitants of Egypt ... 2. the inhabitants of Africa proper, Blacks. 3. Asians; finally (and I am ashamed to say so, since our race is the last and most savage in the series), Europeans who, in those remote epochs, frankly did not cut too fine a figure in the world. In this category, we must include a blonds and white-skinned people living not only in Europe but Asia as well, their starting point. This manner of viewing the tableau is all the more accurate because, on the other tombs, the same generic names reappear, always in the same order. We find Egyptians and Africans represented in the same way..... but the Namou (Asians) the Tanhou (Europeans) present significant and curious variants. Instead of Arab or the Jew, dressed simply and represented on one tomb, Asia's representatives on other tombs (those of Ramses II, etc) are three individuals, tanned complexion, aquiline nose, black eyes, and thick beard, but clad in rare splendor. In one, they are evidently Assyrians ... In the other, are Medes or early inhabitants of some parts of Persia... Thus, Asia was represented indiscriminately by any one of the peoples who inhabited it. The same is true of our good old ancestors, the Tamhou. Their attire is sometimes different; their heads are more or less hairy and adorned with various ornaments; their savage dress varies somewhat in form, but their white complexion, their eyes and beard all preserve the character of a race apart."

This country is run by backward people. Here is someone that is using his ingenuity to extract a valuable product from a plant for medicinal purpose and can potentially generate foreign exchange for the country but these backward folks that are 100 years behind mentally choose to bring down his business. I believe he can challenge them in court depending on the type of law we have against marijuana. God knows the number of youths than can be employed if this medical marijuana business is backed by law.

Crude oil price is down and the end is near for petroleum. Hope it won't be too late before your eyes open. Now the countries that do not have the kind of quality marijuana we have are gaining ground in this industry and by the time you wake up from your slumber, you will need their permission to get into the industry because they would have patented all the known extraction techniques.

Health › Re: I'm Ready To Sue One Of The Biggest Private Hospital In Lagos by ajl: 1:49am On May 25, 2020
SolarEdge:
We noticed some rash in our 4 months old baby's sex organ which I perceived is a reaction from her diapers, we took her to the hospital for checkup and they recommended anti fungal cream to be applied and instructed that we don't wear her diapers for now while we apply the cream.

While waiting at the hospital pharmacy I noticed the attendant was taking longer time to attend to me, because the doctor had already written to them what they should give to me with my baby's file in front of the attendant. The attendant still asked how old is the baby I said 4 months. She was just giving excuses that she's coming that I should be patient, so I sat down.

After some time she brought the cream and some drugs. We left and got home very late last night, so my wife suggested my baby should start the drugs by morning but we should apply the cream given to us and we did not wear our baby diaper as instructed.

So this morning my wife decided to read through the leaflet in each of the drugs including the cream. To our greatest surprise the cream was strictly meant for adults and it was categorically stated it should not be used for children under age 18

Now, I'm wondering why would the hospital pharmacy attendant give us such cream. Is it that the prescribed cream wasn't available that was why she was going to and fro like the devil described in the book of Job in the Holy Bible.

Please what's your advise on this matter, is it a careless mistake or it was a deliberate act.
You really can't sue the hospital for anything because you are lucky that no harm has been done to your child since the medication has not been applied. What would you sue them for? Maybe negligence. Negligence on what basis? Of course there was negligence on the part of the hospital but their negligence did not bring any harm to your child.

It's like a day I saw what looked like a big fungal growth in a beverage drink I have not opened. I probably would have been poisoned if I had drank it. I thought I could sue manufacturer but when I did some research I learn that it would have been a lost cause because I did not suffer any harm from it since I did not drink it.

No, she only usurped the minister of foreign affairs once during South Africa's xenophobic attacks because the minister was slow to act. Ask how long it took him to act on the recent China ejection of Nigerians. He was even sympathetic to Chinese on that until later he came out to rephrase his statements.

You folks can't put 1 and 2 together. Of course they won't display the BVN of anybody in a new story. Because they are not showing it does not mean they don't have it. It is basis of their story, They are not just saying he has multiple bank accounts. That is not the issue. There is no law against that. The problem is the account has different names tied to different dates of birth, the only thing that is unique for the account will be the BVN. That is the basis of the news. Don't expect a news media to display someone's BVN. It is like asking CNN to be showing the Social Security Number of an American they are covering for committing fraud. It's not done.
