Golan007: Please show me the BVN for Obasa on this list? Olodo! Your brain is frozen. BVN is a confidential number that can never be displayed for public view. There is no way Saharareporters will display it as they will be breaching Obasa privacy. They can be taken to court for that and they will loose. The only way their story is solid is because someone working against Obasa who is supplying them the documents has the BVN, so Saharareporters has the BVN too but will not show it. Kindly post your BVN on this site now if you can. |

da3pu0: 100 account can be linked to his name if he's in to business. At least he's the owner of winners golden bet and all the comapany's account would definitely link to his bvn. He's a business man and the surest thing is that many accounts would be linked to his name. Am not a fan of apc neither am I a pdp but at least the little experience I have in finance made me say this. But I need to be frank with people here, people don't know how to play politics in Nigeria like oyo state people. GSM does not get to power on the platter of gold, it's politics of brain . Let's open our eyes . Having hatred for a particular party is not the way forward. Let's treat the Bleep up of whose so ever that bleeped up. Last last brother obasa is winning this battle. Come what may, he's going higher than expected. Am not his fan anyway but you can say whatever you like. Truth is bitter. See Grammar. You ignored the most important part of the story, which is multiple names and multiple dates of birth linked to the same BVN. That is the story. You can be Dangote if you like. That act alone is criminal. I am sure even Dangote does not have up that number of bank accounts tied to his personal BVN. People who work for their money don't act like common street criminals. |

Golan007: You do know the report only shows the BVN of Savage but not that of Obasa? Are you using your brain? The same BVN will appear in all the bank accounts even if the names and dates of birth are different. That is the only way Saharareporter and their source know it is the same individual aside from the photos which they may not have access to. It is because of criminals like Obasa that the BVN was created, aside from other security needs. Normally Mr Obasa and his close accomplices that operates the bank account for him will have a list of the account numbers with the names. Remember you have to fill withdrawal forms or deposit forms. How will you remember all the names to use for a specific bank activity without a list. I think what we are seeing is just one of such lists. |

The fact is that every sector of the country is finished banks na dem even corrupt pass because alot of shady tins happen behind the scene. Nigerian banks is filled with criminals. I opened a personal bank for the first time in a long time in Nigeria some months ago. Within 2-days individuals started calling me in attempt to scam me asking for my GTB bank account details, in their usual style. The only individuals or entity that had my Nigeria phone number are few friends (less than 20), family members, and GTB. I don't reside in Nigeria. The banks are operated by scammers themselves. Do you see how they slam you with bank charges. They even went ahead to issue a cheque to me without me requesting one and they charged me for it. I refused to pick up the cheque book. |

Name given on singular BVN shown doesn't tie his name for other accounts with his name as no BVN shown. Every bank account is tied to a picture. They can't give us that detail here. And also there is the single BVN. I don't think it's right for Saharareporter to display the BVN. It is a confidential number that you don't share with anybody except your bank or government. |

In Nigeria they are dancing Ogehne Igbo showing that in Nigerians are extraordinary people.
In Raymond Dekposi voice
COVID-19 in Nigeria is synonymous with malaria and that's how Wike is writing numbers everyday in Rivers State.
The corridor lawyer couldn't decipher COVID-19 and malaria since both are synonymous in symptoms I sort of think along the line of NCDC. Self-isolation is more possible and easily done in western countries than Nigeria. Over there, only critical patients are admitted. If you only tested positive, you are told to go home and isolate yourself which most of them did without breaking the rules. But in Nigeria, many cannot really self-isolate for specific reasons or circumstances or pure stubbornness. Don't be surprised to find someone that test positive and who was told to self-isolate in a mosque or church. Nigerians are zealots. |

Nigerian like rejoicing stupidity
Bond means a means of borrowing money and giving the lenders guaranteed intrest after limited time,
the Article says investors interested in our bond market (better said people willing to borrow us money) are rushing Nigeria because they know 2020 would be the year we would have the highest deficit (deficit meaning we not being able to finance our budget or meet up with recurrent and capital expenditure while) while 98% of our income would go to service existing loan after oil price dropped our earnings
So in laymans term, loan sharks and international gbomulalantern are trooping to Nigeria because they know without Oil we would be forced to borrow money from them or die of hunger
. It's like big boys calling on one another that it's party time and everyone should come with his or her knife and fork. Party is happening in Nigeria. The West are tricksters. They know how to fiddle with global issues and use it to milk poor nations or countries with stupid and corrupt politicians. I remember Y2K before the end of last millennium. Oshigun: People who work with facts, either because they love Lagos and desire her progress or because their profession encourages them to alway recognize proven statistics, Will know that the Igbos are not assets to Lagos. At all. They are mainly saboteurs. It is only their business leaders like Ovia, Elumelu etal who contribute substantially to the IGR of Lagos.
Meanwhile the contribution of those people is dwarfed by that of their Yoruba peers who are far more in number.
Overall, only the Igbos themselves and uninformed Yorubas think Igbos are as important to Lagos as they claim.
They actually benefit more from Lagos than they give back which makes them an economic deficit to the State rather than an asset.
This is why I encourage and will continue to encourage them daily to leave Lagos and see if the State "crashes" as they threaten will happen if they depart back to Ala Igbo. Very shallow statements. Typical tribalist. You are no different from those you appear to be condemning. |

Ajibel: So because you feel projects are created for an avenue to steal, no project should be done again in Lagos so no one will steal?
I seem not to get your point sir My statement may sound counter productive but it's just reflective of the state of things. Every year, billions are awarded for the same projects. I believe about 70% of the cost go into private pockets and 30% left is used to do "window-dressing". If govt show credible results with the little they have, people will willingly pay their tax to govt rather than hand it over to churches in the name of tithes. The latter give them hope of something in return which is illusory while the later they have less expectations because they are 100% certain that the man on Bourdillon will get a cut from their income, likewise other political jobbers. Let govt show results, minimize inflation of projects costs, minimize corruption and do tangible things with what they have on hand. You will be surprised how responsive people will be. |

omonnakoda: They have ALWAYS been boastful and SPITEFUL even in the first republic
Study what they did after the January 1966 coup, making songs, cartoons and taunting Hausa folk. That is how they RELATE TO EACH OTHER it is not about mistreatment. The Ibo world view is that rank in society is determined by wealth and that that wealth should be used to oppress . Wealth is even more important that age if I have more money than my elder I should speak first at the village meeting That is deeply offensive to Yoruba and Hausa people. They lack the self awareness to adjust their behaviour to the mood others I really don't like engaging in tribalistic discussions but there is a lot we need to talk about as a people so we understand one another. What continue to boggle my mind was a statement by Sir Ahmadu Bello, in the 1960s that he will rather employ an expatriate than employ any other Nigerian from other tribes in case there are no northerners to fill a position. Thats it's only if they can't find an expatriate that they can resort to employing other Nigerians. He was very specific on Igbo been very dominating. Which I quite understand as my mum who used to sell in Balogun market area and used to complain how Igbo sellers will "muscle" other groups out of a market. I believe in competition but not when it is deliberately done to wipe out other groups in a market. Sometime they will deliberately crash the price of a product as a group. Meaning all Igbos in the market will sell a product at a lower price compared to sellers in the market from other ethnic groups. Such acts is like the modern capital system anti-compettion tactics used to muscle out a competitor company. Some countries have laws against it. But the informal way most small businesses operate in Nigeria make it possible. I believe states should come out with regulations to protect all stakeholders in the competitive marketplace. |

Reference: Which drugs?. Haven't you heard that there are no drug discoveries to treat Covid 19 directly or are you from Neptune.?
What they treat are the symptoms of the virus which manifests differently in different people. For some the symptoms are a fever, others breathing problems, while in others it may be inflamation.
If you don't have any symptoms then you are kept there to avoid infecting others, spreading the virus, which is trying to correct the mistake the goverment made early on when it insisted on self quarantine which did not work. That is why the place of detention it is called an 'Isolation Centre'.
In the western world there are no isolation centres just hospitals to treat patients who have exhibited symptoms. There even if you are positive you are advised to stay at home in self isolation until you become unwell or get better.
Here once you are positive you are picked up and taken to the IC whether you have symptoms or not. Our system is different.
What is so hard for Nigerians to understand in this.
If the lady is still positive though asymptomatic and she returns home and infects others who then go on to become ill and die, the same public will change tune and accuse the goverment of negligence.
It was the yearnings of people like us for all positive cases to be quarantined mandatorily that has kept this woman away from infecting a lot more people. Nigerians should use their brains and not plunge this country into further crises by accusing goverment of unethical practices and unlawful detention. That is foolish. You are talking like this out of naivety or ignorance. The whole Covid-19 situation in Nigeria is not straightforward just like everything in Nigeria. Three test and more but you never see results of so called positive tests. More so, how can we trust test kits used here. I believe that's where most of the errors are from just like the case in Tanzania where samples from goat and pawpaw tested positive. No such QC was done in Nigeria. There is a lot of test falsification going on because some people or entities are going to get paid for treating Covid-19 patients. The same thing is happening in America where all deaths are ascribed as due to Covid-19 because the hospitals are going to get paid extra $13k for each patient plus extra $39k if patient was put on ventilator. Love of money is the root of all evil as the saying goes. |
