Earlystar698:You people! So little minded. You all can't seem to stop seeing the world through the tiny window in your "rooms" because the horizon is much bigger than what your tiny window would afford you. |
fm7070:You mean as a human being you will knowingly provide someone with something they will use to bring harm to himself. A woman natural instinct is to protect her family, and she knew the outcome of the actions of her husband. She did the right thing. |
PigTormentor:I think the guy did the smart thing. He had two choices. Die fighting unarmed against Boko Haram or simply complain about problems in army and get arrested, which keeps him in jail for a while but with his life intact. And good part is he will come out as a hero. But if he had choose to keep quiet he would eventually be killed in the war front against Boko Haram. He is smart and courageous. |
iamloyalty:You folks are just "talking" without reasoning. Was it not a Nigerian that returned the $50,000 sent to him in the USA to help get the drug but returned the fund after his unsuccessful attempt. Someone just got paid back for his previous actions. At least someone must do it, and it can't be one of good character. He was "karmaed" on his sick bed. |
FrMbaka:How does the action of Hushpuppi translates to the character of tens of millions of people? |
Azyne:By nature, I am not someone that would defraud another man. But if I have the chance, I would have done the same and then donate the money to orphanages. Nigerian politicians deserve no pity. Their actions results in deaths in the hundreds everyday in Nigeria. |
Thank God, this find was done by a local and not a foreign company. The natives should be the one earning money from resources on their land. The guy is lucky that Tanzania has a reliable president that look out for its citizens. He is the one that recently canceled Chinese loans agreed to by previous Tanzania govt saying only a drunk man would have agreed to such loan terms. |
SarkinYarki:"Cutting corners"? Do you read the entire story or your English is terrible. Incompetence is the issue here. They purchased a parcel of land legally but failed to perfect the ownership even after the Ghana land agency wrote the commission. And the land agency also had issue because record should have showed the transaction Nigeria high commission did for the land. |
Christane:Young man! Stop bringing curses on yourself. You are in your situation because of what you believe. It's hell and you are still on social media. |
"With his departure, Nigeria has lost an outstanding statesman and one of its most able politicians." Statesman for who? Someone is still getting lucky. Better go hide under a bunker because a sharp shooter is on the street looking for next victim. The masses are waiting to break bottles. |
izibili44:Wrong mentality. If no man can be for you then how is God going to be for you. Will he send angels to come save you. Man is the cornerstone of God's will on earth. Go clear you head. |
Afospecialk:Your father. You all going to get buried together. Coming from a true Lagosian. |
TooMuchStuff:Still living in the past for "senseless" sake. Remain there. See you in 10 years time still screaming the same name. |
femmyapson:You can describe someone as an ape? And you must be an Orangutan because the lady is from your stock. Senseless fellow. |
flokii:Which previous administration did currency swap with China. The currency swap was done by Buhari. |
ForeThinker:How is this your headache? |
Greenbirth:Address the point. The land is not part of Nigeria High Commission. And what is being constructed on the land is an event centre. Is Nigerian commission in Ghana now a money making event centre. The point here is that Nigerian businessman is working in connivance with the high commission to use the land for what it is not meant for and probably encroaching on land that does not belong to the commission. This is not Lagos or Abuja where powerful people just wake up one day to take over land illegally. As usual, someone is exporting bad behaviour. |
seborrhic:Typical problem with Nigerians. You want SR to be selected. Why should they be. SR have the right to publish any story irrespective of the source. If two enemies are fighting and in the process start releasing damaging information about the other that is of benefit to the public, would expect a good news publisher to turn it down. You only have to do a due diligence and keep on publishing hoping they don't stop fighting since it benefit the public. |
Enough of this. Search for adventurous stories of people of your kind and tell us about. This fits same types of stories fed to Africans over the centuries that make average African see an average caucasian as a superhuman, not knowing they also could be whatever they want to be. When you find yourself being neglected by a an African receptionist in an hotel or anywhere, in your own country, in order to attend to a caucasian guest, do not blame them. They are only subconsciously yielding to attend to the false "demi-god" in human form your type have helped create. The human brain/mind is not as sophisticated as we presumed it is. It get trained easily to succumb to falsehoods. |
kenny160:Talk for yourself. Surely you a thief too. Not everyone is like you. |
OZAOEKPE:May God bless your dad and all his offsprings. |
GoldChest:They should take him to the very modern hospital he built when he was governor of his state. |
The nature of the whiteman is filled with lies. Watch this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e6vGQuWqlxw |
Remember that Italy was the home of the ancient Roman Empire that today represents the cradle of western civilization, which in company of the Greek Empire, back in ancient times were students of ancient Egypt, called Kemet (Black Land) by the same ancient Greeks and Romans before they invented "Egypt". So, a black person bowing or being at the feet of an Italian or their other caucasian cousins is like a former Master bowing before his former student. Read what the Frenchman that decoded the Egyptian hieroglyphics wrote in a letter to his brother in the early 19th century, about Race and positions of people of those Races the way the ancient Egyptians saw the world thousands of years ago... "In a letter written by Chanpollin the Younger, who deciphered hieroglyphics in 1822, to his brother, Champollion-Figeac: "Right in the valley of Biban-el-Moluk, we admired ...... the astonishing freshness of the paintings and fine sculptures on several tombs. I had a copy of people presented on the bas-reliefs. At first I had thought, from copies .... printed in England, that these peoples of different races led by the god Horus holding his shepherd's staff, were indeed nations subject to the rule of the Pharaohs. A study of the legends informed me that this tableu has a more general meaning. It portrayed a third hour of the day ..... Thus we have before our eyes races of man known to the Egyptians and we learn at the same time the great geographical or ethnographical divisions established during that early epoch. Men led by Horus, the shepherd if the peoples, belong to four distinct families. The first, the one closest to the god, has a dark red colour, a well proportioned body, kind face, nose slightly aquiline, long braided hair, and is dressed in white. The legends designate this species as Rot-en-ne-Rome, the race of men par excellence, i.e., the Egyptians. There can be no uncertainty about the racial identity of the man who come next: he belongs to the Black race, designated under the general term Nahasi. The third present a very different aspect; his skin colour borders on yellow or tan; he has a strongly aquiline nose, thick black pointed beard, and wears a short garment of varied colors; these are called Namou. Finally, the last one is what we call flesh-colored, a white skin of the most delicate shade, a nose straight or slightly arched, blue eyes, blond or reddish beard, tall stature and very slender, clad in a hairy ox-skin, a veritable savage tattooed on various parts of his body; he is called Tamhou ..... The variations I observed fully convinced me that they had tried to represent here inhabitants of four corners of the earth, according to the Egyptian system, namely: 1. the inhabitants of Egypt ... 2. the inhabitants of Africa proper, Blacks. 3. Asians; finally (and I am ashamed to say so, since our race is the last and most savage in the series), Europeans who, in those remote epochs, frankly did not cut too fine a figure in the world. In this category, we must include a blonds and white-skinned people living not only in Europe but Asia as well, their starting point. This manner of viewing the tableau is all the more accurate because, on the other tombs, the same generic names reappear, always in the same order. We find Egyptians and Africans represented in the same way..... but the Namou (Asians) the Tanhou (Europeans) present significant and curious variants. Instead of Arab or the Jew, dressed simply and represented on one tomb, Asia's representatives on other tombs (those of Ramses II, etc) are three individuals, tanned complexion, aquiline nose, black eyes, and thick beard, but clad in rare splendor. In one, they are evidently Assyrians ... In the other, are Medes or early inhabitants of some parts of Persia... Thus, Asia was represented indiscriminately by any one of the peoples who inhabited it. The same is true of our good old ancestors, the Tamhou. Their attire is sometimes different; their heads are more or less hairy and adorned with various ornaments; their savage dress varies somewhat in form, but their white complexion, their eyes and beard all preserve the character of a race apart." So, pickup a book of history and discover who you really are. You are the first creation of human on this earth and have been around for tens of thousands of years. You have nurtured this earth as the creator demanded before this new "human" evolved from you to create chaos and disorder as demanded from his master who is the author of lies and deception. |
First to give a speech! And so what? Nigerians need help to recover from neo-colonialism. People are mentally sick but wouldn't accept that they are. |
When did Nigerians start celebrating Father's day. A pack of senseless people that want to westernize at all cost. Come celebrate New Yam festival in New York them. You are all invited by the city mayor. Awon empty heads. |
What's this nonsense? She better pack are luggages and move to New Delhi if she can identify with Indian culture and not her own culture. Empty head! |
One of the reasons why people fear the creation of state police. Imagine! Anyway, we hope they will put check and balances once state police units are formed. This is very disheartening. |
onadana:You are saying nonsense. It was in the news that her daughter isolated herself after she returned from UK. It was even published with pictures when she came out of isolation. I saw this myself. If all you can do is lie, the news story is still available online: https://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/more-news/385751-coronavirus-buharis-daughter-returns-home-after-self-isolation.html |
Yankee101:Here is the problem. The north does not respect women that much. Can you imagine Mama Peace telling a relative of Jonathan to self isolate and the person refuse. It's a cultural problem. They are treating their women like they do in Saudi Arabia. Most Northerners see Aisha Buhari as a troublemaker. You will be surprised she has more support in the west, east,, and south than in the north. What would make a young man disobey his uncle wife especially if what he is doing is wrong. The Tunde chap was probably thinking "who do you think you are to direct me to go isolate". It's sad that no one is even addressing this. And this useless editorial only paid that issue a lip service. |
What would God appreciate more? A church building or a borehole, assuming that community doesn't have one? |
Seems this chap has just started seeing the light. Expect him to eventually disown European invented version of Christianity. He will eventually do so just like a popular US pastor who now claimed he spent 30yrs been lied to. |
