Since the letter writer ex president declared that the Election is a do or die affair in 2011, Nigeria election has never been conducted peacefully.

I align with all the 8 implications you listed since I witnessed 2003,2007 & 2011 general election. I stop voting since then. 2 days ago, the election conducted in Kogi and Bayelsa, has raised eyebrows, because of the Impunity, Rigging, killings , security agencies compromise etc.

because voting is like wasting our time and risking our lives, because at the End, Power-that-be determines the Winners, people won't come out to vote again

2. Politicians will more take election as war __

It's a fact that, with this show of sham, people become hopeless on having good leaders who can transform our country

5. Good people will run away from politics ---

Yes, I have seen many people who don't want to talk on politics, because its traumatic to them

This is true, because if I can't talk on anywhere I can talk on Kogi, it is a place I do visit. I almost cry whenever I visit, but at the end, the Governor won with wide margins..you know more!!!

As i strongly believe that Christ didn't die for me and my ancestors, she will be fine in the mighty name of our Creator Osanobua. As for me there should be a law that prohibit public worshiping. When I experience same evil power in 2007 & 2011 election, I developed apathy till now.

Lesson I learnt is that one should be conscious of the precedent you set cos u never know who will be in that same position tomorrow.

I said it in 2003 2007& 2011 general election that the bad precedent PDP set will go a long way in our electoral process. Just look at where we are now as the most populated black country in the world. Why will you rig election to represent your people? Why must you enforce yourself on the people?.

In my own understanding, a representative is someone chosen by group of people to act or speak on their behalf. But sadly, our politicians don't always want the people to choose them rather they enforce themselves on the people through manipulation of the process. I am yet to see any political office holder who stand to represent the interest of the people he/she is meant to represent.
