I admired Aregbesola alot, because of his educational policy in his regime. Reduction of tuition fees across Osun State higher institution, am a beneficiary from Polytechnic to University. The tuition fees has been increased back immediately Oyetola came in and nothing was done about it.
Yes, he did well in this regard. Every other education policy he made was a disaster. Let's call a spade a spade and stop making ambiguous statement.

These small children on Nairaland that started following politics in 2015 will just come and disgrace their family on public forum.
Ask your parents who was Aregbe in Osun state before Tinubu brought him to the political scene in Osun in 2004. I could remember I wàs one of the first persons telling people about Aregbesola in Osun state then because of my father's closeness to AD as a political party

Thank God you know that public sentiment will work against the tout though. grin

Don't mind him jare, who knew Aregbe before 2004? And the lies he told then was to replicate what Tinubu was doing in Lagos. I remember their slogan back then "AC, eessi wahalai" meaning AC, no wahalai or problem. It is usually baba Sala's son that use to anchor his campaign program on TV. Rumors has it that his mom is the only osun indigene. His father is from kwara or kogi.

Osun State Pensioners in osun state have come out to protest against unpaid pensions arrears.

They were seen lamenting in a painful manner, begging the government to put end to their suffering.

This was purely Aregbesola's handiwork, why are you trying to put it in on Oyetola. We already know you and your leader are known for lies and propaganda. Terrible lies.

Ode sef one to become Godfather...

Mumu that looks like maysoro breed of goat...

He almost lost Osun State to a mere Dancing illiterate Senator if not for the help of Tinubu and Buhari's remote control

Now that Oyetola has gotten the people's love back through payment of Pension , Salary , allowances and building important infrastructure (not white elephant and kangaroo projects) he doesn't need Aregbesola and his badluck again

Ambode was ganged and bullied by this same Aregbesola in Lagos for not accepting his nonsense in Alimosho

*Oyetola is a member of APC NWC and CECC with Buni

*Oyetola has the full support of civil servants, workers and Pensioners

*Oyetola has the support of parents of state secondary schools

*Oyetola has Omisore's backing in Ife/ ijesa axis

*Oyetola has the support of Baba Akande

*Oyetola is Jagaban's Brother

If Aregbe thinks Oyetola is still the chief of staff of yesterday then he is wrong

.
APC is known for hardship, propaganda and white elephant projects, but Oyetola has shown himself to be different than his APC predecessors. That's why he has the heart of the people. Likewise Osinbajo. I will gladly vote for them if given the party ticket even though I hate APC with passion. I guess our voting choice should be based on personality, and not their political parties.

Government is a continum, with that masses enjoys dividends of democracy.

Of fashola had not work Upon what Tinubu laid as foundation, would Lagos be where it was today?

When Ambode abandoned Fashola's work, he was ousted by all and sundry and then Lagos was some kind of shit hole.

When Sanwoolu continue the project left behind by Fashola and thesame Ambode, I think u see the progress.

Why should OLETOLA be different? He's destroying the legacies of Aregbesola by abandoning his projects most importantly.

Can Tinubu experience such and keep quiet

You mean he should continue progressively with all the nonsense Aregbesola did in Osun state, so he can plunge Osun state into more debt. Aregbesola is just jealous the citizen and civil servants within Osun prefer Oyetola's regime to his own and is ready to sabotage him at all cost. As far as I'm concerned Oyetola is the only seemingly reasonable APC personality that has governed Osun state. Akande and Aregbe never cared about the plight of the people. They prefer their white elephant projects not minding the consequences of their actions on the average osun citizens especially civil servants.
FYI I neither belong to APC or PDP or any other political party. I'm just a concerned Osun citizen

I'm going to give a different opinion based on the comments on this thread.
I'm also an introvert who likes a cool and quiet life. When I was younger, i hate unnecessary attention, popularity and the limelight with passion. I love it when people don't notice me, I just do my thing and get out. I could only keep very few friends. But as I am growing older, I have come to realize there are games of number in life, you just need to learn how to mingle, and relate with variety of people, though you need to take necessary precautions. Being an introvert is not an excuse, because there are certain position you can never reach except you are popular ( a lot of people really know you), no matter how good you are at what you do. For example; politics, business and the cooperate world. One of the reasons we will keep having dumb leaders emerging in Nigeria is because the smarter and better ones are not popular at the grassroot level. People will only vote for people they know and are familiar with. Though you might be better than others, there are certain opportunities ( e.g brand endorsement deals, awards based on voting, official post based on voting) you will never get or know about except you are popular. In the world of business, if people don't know you, you are on your own, you will see inferior product and services sell faster than yours. That is human psychology for you. Though getting people to attend your ceremony might not seem important, but there are other vital things in life you will definitely need popularity for. I know it is not within their comfort zone but introverts need to develop their social skills.

Then why is divorce initiated by 70-80% of women not the men except you are assuming men too don't face such underlying factors too, do you know also that marital rates and birth rates are also dropping below recovery levels, if not for incentives women would have worked to keep their marriages like their grandmother's before them when such laws were not common, do you know that it's women with such mentality that has led to single motherhood household been the norms via divorce or children out of wedlock and such children end up as degenerates in Societies such as criminals, drug abusers, prisoners, poor school performance, etc
Yes, I agree men face those underlying factors especially verbal and emotional abuse. But you capitalize the main reason for women intiating divorce is just because of incentives. The rate of divorce is also increasing even in the non-western world where there are little or no incentive for women.
Those grandmothers didn't have the opportunities women have nowadays in term of education, job opportunities, political power, owning properties and Financial empowerment. Some of them endured toxic marriage, a lot those grandmothers stayed to work out their marriage because they have no other option not because they enjoyed doing so. Men were the breadwinners and had political power. The women will go hungry if they don't stay.
The crazy feminism we see nowadays is just certain women retaliating against the suffering their grandmother endured in the hands of men over the ages. No one wants a toxic relationship.
I'm not supporting " crazy feminism", I believe it is replacing a problem with a worse problem. I believe both genders should learn how to collaborate and live peacefully not becoming each other's sworn enemy.

The divorce rates is at 50% for every marriages with 70% initiated by women, proving women destroy their homes because of western laws which incentives it from alimony ( Spousal support) , child custody and support payments to women, when all the laws were passed even religious conservative women abandoned their doctrine to destroy their marriages

Exceptions don't make the rule, you gave celebrities which are outliers and don't represent the majority of the populace
It's religion that is making women especially career educated women ok for their men, In western societies where female nature is unfettered
You said this, and I asked you a question citing popular examples. You say they are celebrities, exceptions and outliers. Should I have used examples of people you don't know?
Then I'm trying to get you, so you mean most cases of divorce in the Western world was initiated deliberately by women only because of alimony, child custody and support payment ( just to rip off the husband) not because of other underlying factors such as adultery, irreconcilable difference, verbal or emotional abuse and sometimes physical abuse?

Pansophist I really like this post. A lot of men and women don't know the difference between obedience and submission. Some wives only obey their husbands just because they are out of options not necessarily because they respect them.
Another example to show the difference between obedience and submission is when a wife tells her husband I want to go to Lagos. The husband says "I don't want you to go so I will not give transport fare. The wife cannot go to Lagos just because she doesn't have money for the transport fare or any other option. This is different from another woman who has transport fare and could easily make the journey without the husband noticing, but she choose not go to Lagos out of respect for her husband and his authority in the home. Some men want a woman they can easily control not someone who will choose to submit to them, so educated women seem to be a threat to them.
I also laugh when I see Nairaland guys say all you need to get any woman is money. Men should know that If all you have to offer women is money, you will only attract women that are after your money. If you go broke tomorrow, they will change their behavior towards you or worse they will leave you because money is the only thing tying them down or keeping them in the relationship. They will now start shouting "all women are gold diggers" "no woman can love you except your mother". You cannot buy a good woman's submission or loyalty with money. You will only get gold diggers.
Times have changed, women are becoming financially independent, you need more than money to get a good/ submissive woman not a gold digger. Things like character, Intelligence, leadership qualities and physical attributes count.

All these bleaching, fake hair, big ass and boobs, plastic surgery trends might soon get outdated. Our unborn generation will laugh at our fashion sense.

Op your own don too much o

Me I know I hate other women outside, but you see my mom and sisters? I can kill for them!

I believe women are better off as mothers and sisters, not as wives or girlfriends.

The 'outside women" you hate are also someone's mother, sister or daughter. They are also greatly esteemed by their family. Those you admire might be a pain the neck of other people.
You can't separate a woman natural role or place one above the other, a woman is a woman either as a daughter, sister, mother or daughter in law. Your mom is your Dad's wife even before she became your mother. And your sisters are either someone's girlfriend or wife. You might also have a daughter whom you will love dearly.
Women will always be women, but factors such as age, maturity, life experience, religion, temperament/ personality type, motherhood can make our action vary to different individuals or at different point in time.

In this world where there is free sex everywhere, you can even pay for it, i don't believe people are virgins just because they lack opportunities. There are virgin men who made the choice not to have sex and i don't see them as weaklings, it shows a great deal of self control and restraint on their part.
