Newpaper trial
Olisa Mentu stole ===> 6 Trillion naira
Jonathan stole ====> 30 trillion naira
Akpanbio stole ===>10 Trillion naira
Amechi ===> stole zero naira
Tinubu ===> stole nothing
Until a court finds them guilty as charged, dey remain innocent...
. Even a rapist or petty thief caught in the act is innocent until pronounced guilty by a competent court, let's equate all alleged thieves and embezzlers and tag them as the same. Why do we always want to accord special privileges to thieves in high places.

Thanks for asking the obvious questions. Let's not allow our hatred for these yam eaters deny us of critical thinking. The current twist of things mustn't be unconnected with his recent criticism of the government. They are just trying to break and humiliate him.
. Does criticising the government confer any sort of immunity on anyone? He asked to be charged and he's having his day in court.

I hope PMB and APC can really sustain the what they have started because it will surely boomerang.
I totally support the fight against corruption,but it must be holistic,fair and just,and not perceived to be one sided based on party or political affiliations.
It's just four years,power intoxicates but wisdom is profitable to direct.
Those of you shouting and cheering on without deep reasoning,remember when two elephants fight it's the grass(masses) that suffers.
Revenge is like a wild fire that consumes all,including the person that's using it as a weapon.
At first so many will cheer this government on,but creating too many enemies same time isnt wise!
When these so called corrupt guys gang up together and fight back,it ain't gonna be pretty especially with the present state of the economy.
2019 is gonna be a do or die affair with the kind of precedence been set......
. Let them fight back, we are waiting for them at the battlefield. Nigeria must kill corruption before the reverse happens.

KANU will not make any plea now because Ahmed
Mohammed, will simply carry out the FG biddings.
Judiciary is independent indeed!
. It's simple, he doesn't take his plea in court he remains in DSS confinement. Is it not shameful that no SAN was willing to stake his reputation in his defence in court. It's simply a selfish agenda he pursued and see where it has landed him. No one will show love to a demented individual who preached hate against his compatriots. He's learning the HARD way and this will be a deterrent to future rascals.

. Which useless trap from dirty hands, if you care to listen the world is troubled across many fronts as we speak, can you compare your useless rants of secession with war in Syria, Iraq, CAR, Rwanda & Burundi. If any individual whether militant or secessionist cannot abide by the laws of the land he will be severely dealt with. The era of a few disgruntled elements threatening the peace, stability and sovereignty of this nation is far behind us. Have you heard from Abubakar Shekau & Asari Dokubo lately.

Buhari should release him. There was a court order with respect to that. I don't know and care what the f.uck u r talking about!!
. They should release him to continue his hate speaking ministry with his lousy mouth. The government charged him to court and he refused to take his plea much to his disadvantage as he said he preferred the confines of the DSS. The government can charge alleged troublemakers like him as many times as possible if there are serious security concerns emanating from his activity.

Episteme2:
This is because anybody opposing this despotic government does so at his or her own peril. Amidst all this official terrorism, intimidation, impunity, executive recklessness and intolerance to opposition, you want him to still talk. Everyone is afraid of being framed up or linked to a phantom corruption case not necessarily because of guilt but because the judiciary, which is the last hope of the common man has lost its potency. People are afraid of being harassed and arrested by EFFC or DSS and unlawfully detained without being charged to court or given fair hearing. That's is the extent we have retrograded to. It's that bad and hence his decision to keep mute for now.
. To you, the judiciary was potent in the locust years of the PDP where cases lingered for several years. Your ignorance is simply alarming. FFK should keep at it while the storm brews, only the conscienceless will keep ranting when no one listens. The content of any message is as important as the credibility of the messenger.

So Raymond Aleogho Dokpesi has become the mouthpiece of the alleged looters in the Dasukigate scam. In PDP's crooked mindset they are busy waiting until all the alleged stolen sums add up to exactly $2.1billion before they think a case can be instituted against them. It's obvious the only defence several of these alleged looters have in court is that they are being witch hunted as members/associates/kingpins of the discredited PDP administration. They asked to be charged to court which the state had done only for them to return to cyberspace and start giving us tales from the prison yard.

These guys are jokers and the shame is certainly on them. Olisa Metuh and his gang of alleged thieves/ looters need to understand that Nigeria is not moved by their shedding of crocodile tears. Your case has been given accelerated hearing to commence on the 25th of this month and it's only the court that needs your cock and bull stories as evidence. did Nnamdi Kanu win in court? A man who refused to take his plea before the court preferring to stay in DSS custody because he had seen the handwriting on the wall with the charges preferred against him. He has no choice but to subject himself to the legal proceeding like his fellow brother Olisa Metuh did yesterday. There's no shortcut to his freedom as he will be made to defend himself in court, thank goodness he has a lawyer. So the FG will meet him in court or he continues to enjoy life in the DSS custody. No one can achieve a lawful objective through unlawful means. The nation moves on regardless.

Buhari oooooo.... be careful how u handle matters ooo
. You have no idea of the FOI bill that you are shouting about. Do you think journalists were allowed to cover FEC meetings during your hero's tenure. What they show to you on TV are pre-meeting formalities. Once the council start deliberations the press is excused.

But sensitive security issues can be discussed with women? Are you for real? How do we get first hand info on what was discussed, or we should wait to be spoon fed with what they want us to know. If security issues should be discussed according to you in the presence of BBOG women, I see no reason why the journalists should not be part of it. Except there's something else.
. Didn't you watch the presidential media chat where the same issue was raised, so you have no point. I repeat there's no where in the world where the press is spoonfed with information at every turn. That's why they can interview government officials at will on their TV/radio/print medis to know their position on sensitive and core national issues

So where're the details of the meeting held with the IMF president? Almost a week now and no news on what was discussed.
. So you want the press to cover private meetings of the President? That's why you have press briefings and press conferences. When the delegation leave the state house then if they like they can interview everyone on the entourage. That's the way it's done everywhere in the world. They are pressmen not pokenosers.

. Well that's your opinion but the last time I checked majority of those who perfected their bail conditions are cooling off in their homes warming up for the commencement of their trial in court. Akpobolokemi has been charged to court today making it the third different case on which he's been charged to court. The prosecution is also prepared to charge them to several courts depending on the gravity of the alleged offences. There is nothing absolute about the "rule of law" and that's why the law is interpreted differently by lawyers and judges.

we wailers ar not asking for dasuki trial to be stopped just because he worked under GEJ. all we ar asking is for d rule of law to prevail n dasuki be giving fair hearing. let d courts be allowed to do their jobs instead of playing judge n jury through media trial n propaganda.
According to media propaganda, dasuki embezzled $2 billion arms deal, but in court he was charged with N13 billion missappropriation, a far cry from $2 billion. some pipul like former govs ar standing trial for sums as high as N80 billion, but they ar not subjected into vicious media trial like d case of dasuki. Does dat makes sense?
. Can you please quote any reputable media outfit who reported that DASUKI embezzled $2billion? What's been in the public are alleged cases of financial misappropriation. The public has a right to know what the government is doing or what it has failed to do. Calling it propaganda & media trial is entirely subjective. What is admissible in law are the facts (by the prosecution) to prove that Sambo Dasuki & others violated the extant laws and constitution of Nigeria.

My take is Buhari is shouting too much on this and making the opposition have something to wail about.... He should tackle this once and for all and face other sector , he us really giving much time to Dasuki, charge him, if guilty send him to prison and open other pages for other political holders , including his party members.... If Buhari want sanity in Nigeria, deal with the Political class without bias then other sector including the masses/Private sectors will arrange and behavr themselves....

Good Analysis TonyeBarcanista

My view on this arm scandal is that the said $2.2Billion meant to purcahse arm was not fully used but arms were purchase.

Remember that the US and other countries barred selling arms to Nigeria and this make the last admin to seek alternative in purchasing from the black market ... Ad Buhari said GEJ bought weapon with "Raw Cash". In Black market, I don't think there is any documents or receipts showing purchase of arms and the last govt are not ready to betray thier source of acquiring arms through the Black Market

Buhari might be playing as a puppet to World Powers just to give them the source of the Black Market, and that's what is making this whole issue look like a propaganda.

My take is Arms was bought though not the full money allocated and there's no documentation of it since its from the black market and that's what the soldiers have been using. Remember that bubu has never bought any arm since his inauguration
. Did you hear ALEX BADEH speak when he was pulled out of the army? The government of the day investigated cases of misappropriation of the ONSA spending which has opened this can of worms. Governance is about accountability and probity without which every elected & appointed official is free to steal & divert as much as they want from funds allocated within and outside of the budget.

Propaganda my foot. Public funds were allegedly misappropriated and yet some are busy shouting propaganda. What of the NIMASA case? Charges have been filed in court and to be fair in all cases (including DASUKIGATE) the prosecution and defence are given time to prepare for the eventual litigation. There is ACJA now which will ensure that criminal cases are not delayed by frivolous court injunctions. Public office holders only need to fear the consequences of their actions. I want to conclude by saying that "surely there is no hiding place anymore for alleged looters of the nation's treasury"

The reason why intelligent people don't go into mindless outrage is to still be sensible enough to read and filter information properly.

It is doubtful if your outrage is allowing you to read simple posts. It is even more worrisome that you don't have the capacity to process basic information. Otherwise, you would have saved yourself of rantings about 3 court cases when one of the cases (alleged illegal possession of A PISTOL) has been under reference here all the while.

The more you post here, the more your infantile reasoning is revealed.
. Your intelligence is just good enough to support corrupt politicians with useless arguments that simply don't add up. The cases are lined up for January 2016 and so make your way there and defend your principal DASUKI. I won't trade words any further with you because I've seen that you are bereft of ideas and sound logic typical of several wailing wailers. The war against CORRUPTION is certainly uncompromisable. If you and your party think you have superior ideas on how this war should be fought please save your energy till the next electoral cycle. Don't bother replying me because I won't see it.

Who says you are not entitled to your mindless outrage? If that is what your life depends on, why not? But it doesn't stop people demanding for the right thing to be done.

Intelligent people don't lose their minds on hearsay though. The sensible thing to do is allow the law to take it course through open and transparent judicial process. What happens if Dasuki ended up not being guilty, won't you have a heart attack?

Nigeria will not descend to lawless autocratic society no matter how you hate to hear that.

Take an accused to court for trial, allow him to defend him/herself, if he or she is found guilty he/she is punished accordingly. If found not guilty he/she if discharged.
. You are certainly taking panadol for Dasuki's headache, why not join his team of lawyers in court but then I realise that you don't understand how the judicial process works, that's why you are wasting your time on open and secret trials. Your ignorance is to the extent that you don't know that DASUKI has up to 3 different cases in 3different courts excluding the one he was initially charged to. No peace for the wicked and the online voltrons.
