Mamas the way my baby is attacking the pap I'm thinking of buying Cerelac today. Is that okay or any other solid suggestions? He's going to be 6 months in 2 weeks. Also what is the best way to combine solids and milk feeds for creche?

well, my own combination since LO started creche has been these.

Fruit: e.g Apple, Banana, Mango,Carrot, Avocado puree and sometimes i do combination.

Food: Varieties like Brown rice pudding, Oatmeal(started at 7month),Weanimix(Mixture of red beans, wheat, rice and Groundnut) ,Soya beans+wheat mixture, Gerber rice(Once a while) and i use august secret food too e.t.c

Milk: I always put Breastmilk in her bag, check-on to breastfeed during lunch time and Similac.

I had it during pregnancy and experienced it after birth but honestly I didn't do nothing. It went inside itself. Talk to your doctor

So I shop DD from taken it. I just gave vitamin C that's all and rob not to strong metholatum on her foot then wear socks immediately. We are getting better by God grace

Sometimes fever comes with teething. If the temp is above 38 degree please take him to see a doctor asap or better still use paracetamol to see for the main time.

So we tried the baby Okro soup today and she took it quite well.
I cooked Okro with ground crayfish, Titus fish and tiny palm oil. I 'blended' the soup with a blender after cooking so it's easy for her to swallow as she never get teeth.

In other news, Removing bones from Titus fish no b small work o.... Dat ish took me like 35mins to do.

I will try this for ewedu to swallow amala later. Welldone mama

Was the drug prescribed by a paediatrician? Am 100% sure a Paediatrician can never prescribed cough syrup for babies...pls mothers when we take our kids to hospitals we should always ensure to be seen by a Paediatrician .

YES Its 100% Pediatrician and its not even NIGERIA ma.
Note: I have never taken my baby to any other doctor apart from Pediatrician.

It is not advisable to give cough syrup to a baby of 8mnths.Cough syrup can only be given to a child of 1 year above.kindly join the group on Facebook.. Ask The Paediatrician... All the issues relating to children have been treated by Medical Consultants.

There is actually a cough syrup for 3month above. It was prescribed for me in the hospital

My daughter has had cough twice since birth, but the Paed never prescribed cough syrup on both occassions.

So what did he prescribed or what was your home remedy? Palm oil & Sugar? Been seraching for @zaynie cough recipe since i no see. My baby is having cattarh and cough and she has even transfer it to me. Cant sleep well for some days now. Doctor prescibed Bennyl cough syrup and Bells Vitamin C.

Dear Mama,

Would advise you go with the medication as prescribed by your baby's dr as he/she has probably evaluated the baby. If there is any side effects from using the medication, go back to the paediatrician.

Piriton syrup i know is for babies above 1 year old(Unless the cough is really tough). Is your baby above that? If not please don't use it. To all mamas, Please lets always check the drug they prescribe for us in the hospital for our babies ohh. I returned two drugs to my doctor yesterday because they specifically stated that is not suitable for babies below 12month.

Hmmm!!! It is well with you ma. Not easy though but JUST LET IT GO. May God help us all. For the counselling, just find a professional one that will help the two of you. H/She will take you through a step by step process that will enhance the healing and forgiveness. All the best. Also, you can watch some free marriage video counselling on youtube that can help pending the time you get the counselor

I found my self in such dilemma when I was pregnant with my first child, 10 years on, it's still on my mind. We've moved on but it really strained the relationship.
