Hello house; This is an ‘almost’ silent follower [my story is on the ‘anyone trying iui, ivf’ thread] coming back to say thank you. I can honestly attribute our success at the visa interview yesterday to all the info I gathered here over the months & prayer.


My e-brethren, that was it o. I quickly gathered my papers & waddled out after DH! Only God’s favour, despite my fears, no exam of bank statement (which had only a few thousands balance) or other document apart from above mentioned. Because experienced posters & mods on this thread have been continually hammering on plainness & honesty, I had explicitly stated on my form DS160, that my reason for this travel was to birth my baby & I also contacted & printed out letters of 3 other docs/hosp just in case I needed to prove that a ‘self pay’ can deliver in the US for under $8,000.
So now, forex/ticket hustle. Don’t know how it will happen cos of cost/availability but it must only end in praise!

Congrats. I tap into this. @bolded, is there anywhere given to explicitly state that you are giving birth in USA on DS160 form? Or

@tipsyjules, congratulation on the birth of your child. May he always make you happy. Your story is so touchy especially that part that a mother lost her child during childbirth. What could have caused that? I pray that all mother will not experience such kind of thing in Jesus name.

BTW, some Nigerians doctors and nurses lack manners. I think a new bill should be passed on revoking licensee if they don't do their job well. Horrible people as if they send them to go to Med school.

When i was pregnant with my first,i went thru the journey almost alone cos hubby works offshore.infact i gave birth him nt been around n did naming in his absence.
The only consolation is the constant chat n calls he out across n d make up s*x wen he comes back.

I woke up at 3:45am today and i have been feeling so sad and depressed. Just don’t know what is happening to me. I am always feeling alive but this morning i was even crying when brushing.
Am in the only one this is happening to?

Also, I am planning to come back to Nigeria so that I won’t be alone when giving birth and I have been thinking about having sex with hubby. Will it be painful? Will I enjoy it? Because I was a virgin when I married my hubby so I literally don’t enjoy sex. And am 100% sure hubby is jogging for me for my comeback..
Not easy to stay alone when you are pregnant. Seriously!!!!

Good morning teamie, am very well oh!!! Yes I can sleep well now. I manage to stop drinking too much water at night thereby curbs my frequent toilet movement.
Right now am dealing with serious catarrh so am off cold water for now.

So I wanted to buy Ayomide's nursery furniture online and ship to Nigeria but though the furniture was cheap but shipping cost was even more than the furniture cos furniture is contraband.
So my husband contacted a local carpenter and I sent him pictures and dimensions from the site i was supposed to buy from.
The carpenter just sent pictures back and I must say im impressed

The crib is such that the mattress can be raised (for easily laying him in the crib) and lowered for when he is older and can climb in and out of the bed.
First pix is the sample, second is the result.

Please can you give me the number of your furniture man and which area is he located in lagos? Thank you

How many times dm don shook ur vein, cos I hear Iomoge2 say e de reach 5 times.

Abeg o, who can baby item list with current price? I enter baby shop last sat, na speed I use commot from there. It prices are high.

Blood was suck out from my vein once and that is at the beginning. Then after a drop of blood after a pinch of needle is collected to check the blood level for each hour. Then you urinate 4 times for the whole process and each is 1-1 hr.

Am very hungry right now. Can't wait to finish meh. God bless my mother.

In other news, I am doing my OGIT today and is like the glucose giving to me by the lab contain sleeping drug. After each hour, I enter into sleeping mode. How was your glucose test December mama...@enque,favouredmom,buccee and all other mama.

i am very new on this platform. I got married this year and got pregnant sometimes in may.i lost the pregnancy in july. Reasons that cannot really be identified by the doctor. my mensuration started again in August and it has been constant since then. I have done my period three times after the evacuation and i have been praying to get pregnant since.I will like if the house can educate me on how to calculate my ovulation dates. I have read so many ways to calculate on the internet but i find it very confusing. please help me out. i really want to be pregnant again

Hello mama, you are welcome to the forum!!! God will perfom his miracle in your life soon. Amen!!! As per your ovulation calculation, what i did was to download an application called MY CALENDAR. This application will let you know when your ovulation will start and end by clicking on it the first day you start your menstruation. It will even tell you your next menstruation date and your ovulation and your fertility day.

Try it out and am sure this will help.

@Topfuncakes166, like iomoge has mentioned, please go to hospital. Personally, I don't like the idea of staying home when you are feeling such pain especially when you are above 36 weeks.

Although am a FTM but I don't joke with hospital oh!!! I disturb by OBG anytime I have any issue because that's why am paying them.

Please go to hospital ASAP. We shall all carry to term in Jesus name.

You may continue after the first trimester and don't even let DH pour inside because with my little knowledge, pouring irritate cervix sometimes. #talking from experience because I have had miscarriage before. Mama, I actually filled for B1/B2 as advised by the Visa Officer because i told him my purpose and i also check online for some other fact before making that decision. My own issue now is appointment date. Is too far? I can see first appointment as october 26th and i intend travel Early November. I just hope this wont cause denial again. @LadyGuinivere, come to our aid please. Thank you as always.
