Tinubu was not winning pre-2015 but he swelled his territory. If in 2027, NDC gets one Governorship ticket for example, Obi has won. It is when you hold your territory, people can come to you for alliance and trade. Sometimes, winning can take several formats.

The fact he left the Governor in LP is another thing. Some people today in the SE don't know Obi's Party. That tells you a lot! NDC NASS candidates will get the beating of their lives next year, starting from Abia and Anambra.

Obi supporters or obi voters for me are categorized into three, obidients who are his core supporters, neutral voters who are enamoured to him based on his saintly antecedents or so and renegade voters made up of voters from APC pdp etc, religious voters who feared muslin Muslim rule. Whether obi remains in Lp or NDC, he will still lose. Even if Atiku collapses his structure for him, na L. I suspect that APC will have 25% in Enugu and maybe Imo because Hope is on the ballot. He will also try in Ebonyi and maybe Abia. Anambra is no go. Ouk will still win.

How are you sure that Okowa will win his LGA. In 2023 he managed victory even as he was on the ballot. His popularity dwindled. His fake 2026 senatorial primary votes should not confuse you. Anyway, as an Ika man, he lost Ika south by a wide margin to Obi in 2023. Sheriff’s 2023 victory was an overnight miracle performed by Okowa, who did not want to suffer a double loss. If the election held the same day, Sheriff would not be the governor today.

So if you are happy that Okowa will deliver his LGA, know now that you are thinking of not more than 15 - 20k votes. Maybe that’s so you will be pleased with in Delta state for BAT in 2027.

It was “Obidiently Omo Agege” when the battle was very hot for Omo Agege in 2023. He used Obi’s name to cajole Obi’s supporters in Delta central in 2023. He begged Obidients to vote for him when the handwriting was clear. He coined it Obidiently Omo Agege.

Now he has officially and finally become Obidient himself. The truth remains that Obi’s popularity in Delta state has increased and keeps increasing. Omo Agege needs him to defeat APC in Delta central in 2027. It will be a big battle. My concern is the genuineness or not of Omo Agege. I sincerely hope that he will not abandon NDC after securing victory in 2027. The battle line is drawn in Delta central with the Governor coming from that part and will do everything within his power to secure that Senatorial zone. The minister of aviation, even though he is a paper weight politician like Reno Omokri (Delta south), is from that Senatorial zone. Ibori is from that Senatorial zone too. Omo Agege has a huge battle in his hands, with those mentioned wanting to win that Senatorial zone to secure their own positions. Omokri was defeated by Obi in his polling unit, ward and LG. The same fate befell Keyamo, who definitely would want to change the equation.

Anyway, they were all there in 2023, including Omo Agege and other heavy Urhobo, Isoko, Itsekiri and Ijaw politicians, not to talk of Tompolo, when Obi spanked them all!
